I need to override a piece of Acumatica’s Approval process that prevents from Apprving a Rejected document. Not sure why Acumatica has put this control in place but it happens many times for us that a documents gets rejected to add some supporting documents and when documentation completed, then this document can be approved. This seems like it should be straight forward but I’m not seeing where the issue is.I have a file with Vendor Code and a name.  I’m trying to update an existing vendor record to add the name to the General → Primary Contact → Name field.  The import scenario doesn’t report any issues but also isn’t updating the field - and no contact is added to the vendor. None of the vendors have a contact record at this point.I can type a first and last name into the field on the screen with no issues.Build 20.210.0044

Hello, When releasing our past expense claims we found an odd error in the system. on the Claim below, the total equals $104.83 but the sum of the expense receipts on the claim totals $84.28, giving a difference of $20.55. What would cause this error? This is the first time we have found it and want to ensure this does not happen moving forward, in this case, we are overpaying expense claims.Thank you,KT  

Would like to see in the Generic Inquiry list columns with “Last Modified Date” and “Modified By” to ensure that we save all inquiries before a major update. It’s difficult to determine if someone has modified an inquiry that has not been backed up without this information. There should be some kind of audit trail for this.

Hello allI have a customer with large 500+ line orders and when they need to do a return that want to have a reason code on each line.  What are my options to add a reason code to 500 line ?  can I ‘upload’ via details or do I need a import ?

Good day,Client has been using System Email Accounts to send / Received emails from Acumatica using Outlook (they dont have Acumatica integration on their outlook app in windows), starting on 4/8/21, the client started noticing that the emails on her inbox will automatically change to read, other users that have Acumatica accounts that also have System Email Accounts setup in Acumatica will have same issue. After several tries with their IT person from there email server, we inactivate the System Email Account for her by changing the password to something incorrect, and the issue stop. I have sit checking this issue and it occurs when the System Email Account is setup correctly.  I have already change the incoming mail server from smtp.office365.com to outlook.office365.com to smtp.office365.com. But this did not fixed the issue.  I have also test where the password in incorrect and the test is bad, and emails remain unread on my clients outlook app in windows, but when putting the pas

Hi, I’ve been trying to set up a dunning fee for dunning letters. The following is the dunning setup: Then I prepare the letter and prepare to release it: But when I release it the fee reference number is not generated and there is not dunning fee invoice either: Am I making a mistake somewhere causing the dunning fee to not be created?Side note: Are dunning fees always fixed price? Are there other options for calculating the fee, say based on a percentage of the amount overdue?Any help and insight will be deeply appreciated, thanks.

Hi,We are using the BigCommerce connector with acumatica 2021 R2, but have noticed that payments do not sync from BigCommerce if the order type in BigCommerce is “Manual Order”. These are orders that are taken manually by staff using the backend of BigCommerce. They use exactly the same payment method. In fact, I have compared the GET results of the “payment” endpoint for a normal website order, and a manual order, and the payment REST response looks identical from BigCommerce. So is the acumatica connector programmed to NOT sync these payments? If I try to manually sync the payment (Sync History->Add New->specify the external order ID) then it says “the payment record cannot be syncronized because it does not exist in the external system) Hoping someone has some insight, as I can’t find any information in the documentation as to why these payments can’t be found by acumatica. ThanksGeoff 

We are currently using lotted stock items for managing items that are similar in nature (custom doors), but will have ranges of dimensions (height, width, depth), in addition to style, species, etc (attributes which have a finite range of options). Looking at using matrix item functionality, and while I can see how this can be used for managing hundreds or potentially thousands of SKUs, not sure it will work with dimension ranges (i.e. door width can be anywhere from 5” through to 30” in increments of 1/8”).  When multiplying out the matrix, it becomes very large; looking to understand best practices for managing SKUs of this type.  Has anyone used matrix items (for handling attributes with a finite set of options) in combination with making them lotted to handle the very large number of dimensional range options possible? Alternatively, is there any way to create SKUs dynamically on the fly for the range of dimensions supported (i.e. if door (style X, species Y, colour Z, width 18”, h

Is there a way to create a filter either on a GI or Dashboard widget to show current month Plus five days?  I know there is the @month parameter is there a way to add five days to it, so it forecasts five days into the next month?

I am trying to do reporting on the NET revenue per channel (we differentiate channels by order types). I’m using the ARTran table to obtain the SOOrderNbr, SOOrderType, and NetSalesAmount. However, returns (RC order types) are not connected to the original Sales Order other than via the invoice number and show up under their own order type (RC).Does anyone have any suggestions regarding how to set up a GI that will reflect the negative amount generated by the RC return against the original Sales Order? Or maybe something like: IIf(OrderType=’RC’, OriginalSOOrderNbr, SOOrderNbr) 

I’ve found that the non-stock kits default in a qty 0 shipped qty on the shipment. The allocation of the kit items do not occur until the shipped qty is manually updated. At that point, the items display on the pick list. Does anyone know why normal items bring over the shipped qty from the order while non-stock kits require inputting in a qty before the kit components allocate and show on the pick list? In order for the components to display, this flow is requiring users to manually updated the shipped qty on the non-stock kit item to get the components to allocate and display on the pick list.

Hi, I want to generate a report from employee timecard . The filtering would be From Week ID and to To Week IDThe report will generate based on the filtering range week id and showing employee list name with the total hours for specific week . Hi,Is it possible to process an Invoice with multiple payments in 1 entry or without creating multiple Payments? Let say I have an open Invoice worth 12,000 and customer will pay in advance through 6 Post Dated Checks (the date is every 6th of the month). I’d like to have a $ (dollar sign) included on the resultant line for a field in a GI.Can this be done?  I understand about using the schema field to force a sort of inheritance around the field formatting, but what happens if you don’t have a field with the proper schema formatting?  (I can’t find one that has the equivalent of $#.00) I only need the dollar sign $ but it would seem that it should support localizing in system currency. I know how to do this in Report Designer -- I need it to be in the Generic Inquiry (and hopefully a resultant Dashboard widget from there) thanks

Have a scenario where we need to use a non stock item on a BOM for estimating but do not want to have it appear on production order.  Is there a way to do this out of the box without manually deleting?

Just experienced that we are no longer able to run our over/under project transactions against closed tasks. All business units are needing to re-open tasks to get through the August close whereas this has not been required in the past and we cannot see where this is controlled or determine causality. We are helping where asked to mass activate tasks, but that’s not a long term solution.We are self-hosted on 2021R2 with no recent software updates and no known related configuration changes.Any ideas including whether you are able to project transaction against closed tasks would be great!

Hello,I developed a customization that works properly in the 2021 version of Acumatica, but on testing an upgrade to 2022 r1 in a sandbox environment, the customization is now breaking.I am creating AP Payments and everything works except for the Payment Amount (CuryOrigDocAmt). If I put the document on hold and assign this amount to $0, the payment imports. If I assign this field any other amount, the payment errors out without hardly any information. Everything else works on the customization, just this one field is causing issues.I’ve tried setting the document to zero and then enabling the AP setting to update docs amounts automatically, but that errors out too. I’ve also tried passing with and without adjustment application lines, works with $0 on the CuryOrigDocAmt and it works, anything over $0 errors out.Anyone have any ideas of what might have changed to make this stop working?Thanks in advance.

Client is using 2021R1 and Projects allows an Inactive Customer Location to be selected in Project Quotes and Allows the Quote to be converted to a Project.  Is this an oversight or is this working as designed?  Does the Construction Edition operate in the same way?
