Hi, I have a requirement where some validations are to occur once the inventory ID field is updated in the Requisitions screen. The logic is based on values taken from custom fields in a custom form and synced with user defined field in Summary area of requisition form and line item’s inventory ID. The logic is attached but the warning and error messages are not executed. I guess this is a question more for Acumatica’s product team, but if anyone has encountered this scenario before, please enlighten me as well.Right now in Acumatica, Gift Card is a non-stock item. So when a gift card is purchased in Shopify, the Sales Order is synced to Acumatica with the non-stock item just like a normal Sales Order, so how do we treat the gift card liability?For example, when you sell a gift card to the customer, if you have not redeemed the gift card, the gift card amount is still a liability, until the customer redeems it, then it goes to Sales. But if we treat it as a non-stock item on the Sales Order, it goes straight into Gift Card sales.Is treating a giftcard sale straight away as a sale instead of a liability a correct way to handle it?

Hi All , I’m unable to insert the ScheduleID in Child table Column ,because it is integer type storing the integer Default  value(-2147483647).Not storing actual value. Has anyone else seen this issue in an upgrade to 22 R1? STAT ledger changed ledger types from statistical (20 R2) to budget (22 R1). This causes an issue where postings can no longer be made on the JT screen due to the ledger change.I’ve opened a high priority case with Acumatica support on this but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this. I checked our other clients who have moved to 22 R1, and they did not have statistical ledgers setup to verify if others have been affected by this.

Under Acumatica 2020R2 version , user just define one company which belongs to ‘Without Branches’ Type ,however while create a new sales order /direct invoice ,system will pop out the warning shows that [Branch ID cannot be empty ]at the moment user clicks on Save button to save the sales order .End up the order is saved but what may be the reason trigger such warning . Do refer attach for issues showing .Hope can get some advice for this .Appreciate.

Is this a bug? I can’t delete the password from system email accounts. I can add/remove the user name and all of the other fields, but I can’t switch out the password.As a result, I can’t send out emails due to authentication issues  

Hi all,One of our employees purchased a fixed asset using his personal account. Then he needs to claim expense and record this asset into our book. Here in the expense claim form we only see “expense account”, but we’d like to record this amount into “fixed asset” instead of an expense account. So how do we do that? Is it ok if we just key in an account for fixed asset here? Thanks! 

There is a default Physical Inventory reason code in Inventory Preferences. I have approximately 20 different Physical Inventory Types generated by Item Class. When you select “GENERATE PI”  in “Prepare Physical Count” it always pulls the default reason code from Inventory Preferences. I need a different reason code for each of the Item Class Inventory Types. Does anyone know if there is a way to set this up so you don’t have to change the default reason code every time before selecting “GENERATE PI” (in “Prepare Physical Count”) ?

We’re looking for the best way to prevent the Error: Another process has updated the 'SOOrder' record. Your changes will be lost when our integration writes back an external ID.  When a users saves the first SO line it creates a push notification and creates a record in our external app.  The ID generated in that App is then written back to the External Ref number on the SO which will be used to stay in sync with the external App.  However if a user continues to add lines they have to refresh the SO.The current thought is to create a customization that creates a table that will store the SO GUID or Order Type and Number and our external ID.  Then have the GI for the push notification relate to this new table.Any other ideas on how to prevent this issue?  

We run many projects (we make windows and doors and each houselot is a project) At the end of each project we are struggling to track what has been delivered to site and what has not. We currently make a PDF of all the items that were part of the project and store it as a file on the project with the name “Delivery Docket” but updating this is a pain. It would be ideal if there was some way to have “Output Items” per project, that when each item  is delivered, it is somehow “shipped” from the project so that we can easily see what is left to be delivered - is there an easy way to do this?if it were possible, then it would be easy to make a delivery manifest straight out of Acumatica/MYOBA

 I need to add two new status values of "Billed"  and “Expired” to the Service Contracts screen.1) Is the list of Service order status values exposed as a preference in Acumatica?2)Can new status values be added through a customization?3) Would the addition of new status values impact related Service order business rules? Thank you in advance.Ken Severud

Removing Stock Items

Hi all! I’ve created a set of labels using Report Designer and added to the site map. I now want to add a Print Label button to a generic inquiry. I setup the report up in the navigation parameters, added a column that reads ‘Print Label’ and pointed the navigation to the report/labels. This works when only needing to print one label. But if I click print label on one row and click print label on another row, for example, the second row displays the data from the first row. It doesnt seem to update based on the row I am clicked on. Is this a bug or is there a setting needed to get the print out to show the correct data per row? Thanks!

Hi, We wanted to create a GI to get the inventory in and out details for a given time period hence we created a GI joining PX.Objects.IN.INTranSplit and PX.Objects.IN.INTran tables. Inquiry title is Inventory Transaction History Inquiry.Then we gave start date and end date parameters using the release date in InTran table.The end date parameter seems not working properly. For example, if we give the end date as 3/31/2022 the data shows only up to 3/30/2022. Is there any reason behind this behavior or have I not set the GI in a correct manner? Hello Gang, I was wondering is there any way to freeze a few columns of the DATA ENTRY grids on the left to always have them visible to the user when scrolling to right/left and we have many columns? I tried through Css but couldnlt find “Frozen” or similar property for it.Something like as Excel freez pane I’m looking to simulate in Acumatica

In order to get the volume discount from the Vendor we have to place a single PO with max Qty . In the case of Purchase Requisitions system is treating it as a separate channel for creating a PO. Is there any option to add the  Purchase Requisitions to Include in MRP so that PO will be created with max Qty to get max volume discount ?Please correct me if I missed anything ?  

Is it mandatory to get ISV Partnered in order to start any development/customisation in Acumatica?Thanks.

Using v2021 R2.  I’ve configured DeviceHub and Acumatica for the label printer.  The user profile has the printer as the default printer.I’ve set the “Print Shipment Labels Automatically” flag in SO preferences.I don’t know if it is required, but I set the User Settings in Pick, Pack, and Ship to Print Shipment Labels Automatically.  We’re not using Pick, Pack and Ship.When I click on Confirm Shipment, labels don’t automatically print.  Is there another setting I’m missing?

How does one deal with 2 uom’s where the conversion is not constant?Example Steel industryA pallet of sheets never weights the same. 100 sheets might weigh a ton with one PO Receipts and then next week 1.01 tons.Also, what would be a solution where I Order in kg’s, I sell in Kg’s but I stock count in Sheets/each. what would be a good option for the base UOM? Remember I have variable UOM Conversion factor.  

I’ve been struggling with creating business events to trigger an email, and I’ve come to the conclusion that building a GI specific to the email is probably my best bet, but unfortunately it is not working for me.I created the GI and have all of the fields I need  and the GI works fine.In email notifications, I click INSERT > DATAFIELDS, find a field, then select it into the document. Adding any field results in the following error code “Object reference not set to an instance of an object.”   

I have an import scenario for Trial Balance and an export scenario to process/release all the entries.  My question is, has anyone ever made an export or import scenario that works across entitles?  When you process/release a trial balance entry it takes to you a journal entry which breaks the import/export scenario.  I am looking for a way to automate the whole process.
