JAMIS Prime Action Required: Browser Compatibility Update!Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are built on the Chromium platform. Microsoft and Google have announced that Chromium will discontinue support for certain legacy XSLT functionality that older versions of JAMIS Prime depend on. As browser vendors adopt these Chromium changes (to prevent potential security risks), customers running affected versions of JAMIS Prime may begin to experience functionality issues, application errors, or reduced usability following future browser updates scheduled for November 17, 2026. For customers who are unable to upgrade immediately, Firefox and Safari are expected to remain compatible after November 17, 2026, and may be used as an interim solution. However, relying on alternative browsers should be viewed only as an interim solution while planning and completing the necessary JAMIS Prime upgrade. To ensure uninterrupted access to JAMIS Prime and avoid unexpected disruptions to business operations

We’ve noticed that the total funded amount from subcontracts populates in the Job Costs Transactions Summary, “total burdened cost amount” column. Which makes sense but also skews the numbers as option years pass. Also, in the Job Costs Transactions Detail, the subcontract populates (& decrements as bills are entered), but when the Subcontract is closed, the subcontract funding entry disappears but all the decremental SC entries remain, which makes the detail report not add up correctly when exported to Excel unless you filter to remove all the SC source lines. When do you find it best practice to close subcontract agreements? We often keep contracts open for years as they get wrapped up, but I’m not certain we want to treat subcontracts the same if it affects the burdened cost. Or is it a good idea to de-obligate funds via change orders as new options come along, just so the total burdened cost is more accurate?
We've been Jamis Prime Users for 5 years now, but in all that time, other than per diem tables, we had yet to explore Import Scenarios. It was easy to push them aside to learn later, since I was so busy with other tasks. But sometimes an invest now can payoff later and, while I am still very much a beginner, I am kicking myself for taking so long to finally take the time to start learning and using them. The hardest part was getting a working template to make the data provider, and setting up the Import Scenario itself. But once you've invested the time in setup, future usage is a breeze. I watched a two-part Jamis class, and still needed a bit of assist, but I learned so much with each step. And I’ve been very proud to have been able to figure out my most recent import scenarios without having to reach out for help. With each different scenario, I've learned something new - such as to search and research the existing templates. If you don't know how to code something, chances are one o
We are porting an existing Acumatica ISV integration over to MYOB Acumatica and need some clarification on platform differences. Our standard Acumatica solution has two core features:Online Payments: Uses a Custom Payment Plug-in to create a new Processing Center. Integration: Uses a custom DataProvider to import/export Customer, ARInvoice, and ARPayment. The Blockers:Our product team noticed that the Custom Payment Plug-in setup appears to be missing or restricted in MYOB Acumatica, preventing us from initializing our Processing Center.Questions:Does MYOB Acumatica support custom payment plug-ins using the standard IPaymentProcessingPlugin framework, or is it locked down for the ANZ market? Are there any special configuration switches required in MYOB to expose custom Payment Plug-ins and DataProviders? What is the recommended workaround for ISVs deploying payment gateways in the MYOB ecosystem?Any insights or documentation links would be greatly appreciated!

Since we started using them, Business Events have played a large role in the administrative side of our company. Sending out late approval reminders, automating import scenarios to help with security, and notifications going out to inform employees of data integrity errors are a few of the use cases that we have found for business events. I wanted to share how I created one of our most used Business Events. Our most common use for Business Events is ‘Late Approval Reminders’. Previously, we started running into issues where approvals during the purchasing processes weren’t getting done in a timely manner, which was slowing everything down. The Purchasing team didn’t have the bandwidth to keep an eye on what was still pending approval, then trying to hunt the employee down to get the approval completed, before often learning the employee is out of office and that the item needed to be rerouted for approval again. To sum up the lengthy tutorial, a generic inquiry is created to show any
Hi, in MYOB Acumatica payroll Manage Pays screen, there is a column called ‘Adjusted’ and a blue hyperlink that says ‘Yes’ if the payrun has been adjusted. However, one of the users click on ‘Yes’ hyperlink to see related pays, but nothing pops up. Below is how it should look like after clicking the ‘Yes’ hyperlink:
Hi, in MYOB Acumatica/Advanced Payroll, how do I setup an automation to send out payslips every Thursday? The client have a weekly payrun on Thursdays and want the payslip to be sent automatically. I have tried to setup an automation schedule for Process Payslips screen, but it did not send an email. I think it’s because the automation doesn’t know which payrun to send as at the time I set it up, the payrun has not commenced yet.1. Can this be setup via Business Events? If so, I can’t find any GI that I can use to trigger by schedule.2. Or is it better to create a Generic Inquiry to show completed pay runs and then setup a business events against that GI?
I was just wondering why the "Reason Settings" option is hidden in the Approval Maps in MYOB Acumatica?I was hoping to enable 'Reason for rejection', as my company's CEO requested that a reason be required when rejecting approvals. However, I can’t seem to find any option in the Approval Maps to make the Reason for Rejection mandatory — unlike in standard Acumatica.Would you happen to know how we can utilise the Reason field in the Approvals tab across any screen? At the moment, it’s always blank.Figure 1. From Standard Acumatica Approval MapsFigure 2. From MYOB Acumatica - Reason Settings missing Figure 3. Reason field in the Approvals tab
Browser Navigation Behavior Impacting Report Parameters (Chrome and Edge) JAMIS would like to proactively share an update regarding a recent change in browser behavior that may impact how certain reports and screens open within JAMIS Prime. What’s happening Recent updates to Chromium-based browsers (such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge) have introduced changes to how navigation parameters are handled in JAMIS Prime. As a result, in some cases, reports or screens that typically open with pre-filled parameters may now open without those values automatically populated. What this means for you This behavior is specific to the browser and not the underlying report functionality. Reports and screens continue to function normally when you enter parameters manually. Mozilla Firefox is not impacted and continues to process navigation parameters as expected. What you can do now To maintain your current workflow efficiency, we recommend the following options: Use
Are there details regarding any planned changes for the upcoming Pay Day Super regulations?
MYOB Acumatica has out-of-the-box email notifications for actions like modifying Supplier/Employee payment details, email addresses etc. These emails are sent to the Security Contact Email, and sometimes also the Employee’s email. We used to be able to modify these and add additional email address etc.I can’t seem to find them as Email Templates or Business Events, so I’m wondering if they have been hidden at a system level by MYOB?Anyone know where to find them now?

Hi, E-invoicing (Peppol) represents a new evolution in accounting and is likely to significantly impact existing systems and processes. Countries such as Singapore and the UAE have already announced mandatory timelines, requiring businesses to upgrade their systems to meet compliance requirements. My question is from a product perspective: are there any plans from Acumatica / MYOB Acumatica to extend or enhance e-invoicing functionality to support countries beyond Australia? Would really appreciate if anyone share their experience of exploring the option to integrate with MYOB Accumatica ?
Did you know labor doesn’t have to exactly match your payroll timing? Something we decided during implementation was to process labor weekly (instead of matching our biweekly payroll) and to not process labor in summary. This has enabled us to make our billing much more accurate and timely, since Billing only has to wait a maximum of 7 days for posted labor. And we’ve been able to provide much more accurate, in-depth reports to our program managers and our customers.

Our company is working on internal controls and streamlining some processes and one of the ones that came up was a vendor-monitoring system to track contract renewal dates, department which uses the vendor, ownership of the account, etc. At first, leadership wanted to make a listing in Sharepoint that would have required a lot maintenance, not to mention it would have been double-entry since we already maintain a vendor list within Jamis. So we convinced them we could customize the vendor list in Jamis by adding the required user-defined fields under Attributes. The best part is each attribute can be customized - some as text fields, a calendar, a list to select from, even a list with multiple selections. Then all that was needed was to add the fields to the Vendor Inquiry, and we have the resource the executives needed without having to maintain two lists in separate places. Other examples we have used this for are to track Revenue by State under the Job lists. (We used to manually t
