Unanswered questions

I’m stumped here. I have a screen with a tree view driving a form and details grid. this was working perfectly in the classic UI but I simply cannot get it functioning in the MUI. The modern UI displays the tree nodes correctly, but no matter what I do, the grid and form stay empty as if totally disconnected from the tree nodes. Anyone have suggestions or direction? The documentation has very few examples, and I also wasn’t able to find any answers by reviewing the front end code for the Configuration Entry screen. I’m assuming IF the issue is in the front end code, it’s in the “@treeConfig” decorator, but I’ve tried changing so many things and it hasn’t affected the dependent form or grid at all. I’m left thinking something may need to be changed in the graph.  Classic UI, from and grid load as expectedASPX from Classic UI <%@ Page Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/MasterPages/FormTab.master" AutoEventWireup="true" ValidateRequest="false" CodeFile="PV302010.aspx.cs" Inherits="Page_PV

 We have a requirement to provide users access to financial reports only for the subaccounts they are authorized to view. How can this be achieved? I have already tried using restriction groups. But seems it doesn’t restric users by viewing the other subaccounts.

In a new 26 R1 instance, screens in /src/development using qp-include do not build the included elements.I’ve spent 4-6 hours racking my brain attempting to figure out what’s wrong.  when I try to create shipment on this order, I have the problem “Order RR RR26000144 does not contain any items planned for shipment on '12-Jun-2026 12:00:00 AM'.” It causes the problem only order RR.

Hi!  We have 3 different translation IDs set up so we can translate our foreign entities (GBP, HKD, and CNY) into our main reporting currency (USD).  We occasionally run into an error when preparing the translations that is intermittent.  Anyone have any thoughts on what’s causing this, especially with it being inconsistent in occurrence? I have confirmed that we have translation loss and gain accounts and subaccounts set for USD within Currency Management > Currencies.One of my employees had this error yesterday when trying to translate our GBP branch into USD, but was able to do the translation this morning.  We’re both now receiving this error when trying to translate our HKD branch into USD.  This doesn’t happen every month when we do this and usually goes away the next day, so it’s not critical since it appears to resolve itself; it’s more of an annoyance than anything else.  Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

 I am currently building a Generic Inquiry to identify valid Purchase Receipts that require an AP Bill. The logic is that if a receipt has no corresponding AP Bill, it should then check whether there is a related Purchase Return; otherwise, it is considered valid and requires an AP Bill but I seem to be getting a duplicate. Any insight as to how to make it efficient? Sharing my GI. Thank you for your time in looking.

Does anyone know why the Cost Code is not defaulting when I assign Staff Members in Appointments, even though I'm using the Default Cost Code on the Default Project Task?This is preventing us from using the Calendar Board to have our scheduler assign technicians to unassigned appointment while scheduling. We receive the following error…“Error: 'Cost Code' cannot be empty. Please specify the default cost code for the related service order type.” 

Hello,We’ve been live on Acumatica for just over a month. One issue we’ve been encountering is the path to production process for customizations.Is it standard practice for Acumatica developers to publish code directly to the production environment and to test tenants instead of promoting code through the test environments to production after testing?

We want to clear out our purchase accrual report of outdated Purchase Receipts and Purchase Receipt Returns that have no Bills or Debit Adjustments against them.  We are creating Bills and Debit Adjustments using an import scenario for these outstanding lines, however, the unit cost on each line must be updated to 0.  The documents will have a total of 0.00.  That’s the tricky part, particularly for Debit Adjustments, because you don’t have the option on that screen to pull in purchase receipt lines one by one there, only entire purchase receipts, which brings in e.g. 6 lines at a time.  How do you “go back” in an import scenario to update each line to 0, one by one?  @@inventoryID is not a solution because in some cases, the same non-stock code is repeatedly used.  I have attached the XML, also including some inactive lines where I tested doing this by Purchase Receipt Line (it works for Bills but not Debit Adj.).

I would like to enquire if anyone has experienced custom workflow breaking after Acumatica 25R1 Patches . I had a customized Vendor approval workflow that was working in the earlier versions of  25.101.0153 but after this patch  25.101.0153.9 + ,the custom workflow is no longer functional.Can anyone assist?

Hi there, Wondering if anyone has any experience doing bulk asset transfers between companies. For example, the current Transfer Assets screen (FA507000) only allows the transfer between branches or departments of the same company: Instead, I’d like to transfer between two companies, e.g. ABRVL to ABSLL, and for multiple assets at a time. My only thoughts on this would be to either:For single transfers, dispose of and then bring back the asset (at NBV) to the new Company (very cumbersome) In the case of multiple transfers, do the above one-by-one, or create a negative asset in the source company and then create a positive asset in the new company (looses asset information granularity, must be same asset class and depreciation %)More often than not, we will be transferring multiple assets at a time. Additionally, given the number of moving parts for Fixed Assets, I was keen to hear from the community on the best practice. Thanks very much. 

I’ve generated my T5018 efile and while reviewing it there is a vendor who shouldn’t be on the report as they only supply materials.  I’ve reviewed their vendor record and confirmed that they are set up as “none” under CRA Reporting Type.  Is there any where else that I should be looking?

Hi, I want to send an automated daily email of daily receipted stocks from Acumatica. I need them to be broken up between companies/branches and by item class if possible. Business event is what I am thinking, but I’d like to get your thoughts on how you would do it. Any recommendations are welcome 😊

Using Acupay in 25R2, we are able to get the payment links to create and show up on the standard sales Order invoice but when generating a Prepayment Invoice, there is no payment link tab on the record and it is not showing up on the Prepayment Invoice.  Does the payment link not work with Prepayments or am I missing some configuration or checkbox?

I read this post I need fill parameters from POOrder.VendorID and POLine.InventoryID. But RowSelectorClick  event not callback in tracnsaction grid. Can you any idea for help me?

I recently noticed that when using the Prepayment Invoice functionality that the Prepayment Invoice seems to be considered a Payment despite not having received any Payment against that invoice. I am honestly surprised, but is this expected?It is truly just an Invoice like any other, but Total Paid and Unpaid Balance considers it a Payment it seems like. Does anyone else have this issue?We are having issues with appropriately reporting the true Balance due on an Order and depending on what stage the Prepayment invoices are in, the Balance Due is off by the $ Amount of Unpaid Invoices pretty much.

Hello all,I’ve created a GI on a tenant with the Modern UI, and I’ve created a pivot.How can I transfer the GI and pivot to another tenant?I’ve tried: Customization Package - just packs the GI without the pivot. Export the GI to XML - again, doesn’t pack the pivot. Looked at the GI code - can’t see anything about a pivot view.I don’t understand, you can pack a filter into a customization but you cannot pack a pivot view. Thanks,Ewan.  

What are your thoughts on having Sales Prepared added to the Availability Calculation in a environment where inventory is high turn ?   Deduct Qty. on Sales Prepared A check box you select to deduct (for items of the class) the quantities of items on sales orders of the SO, CS, and IN types with the On Hold, Credit Hold, Rejected, and Pending Approval statuses from the available quantities of these items. The item’s quantity on sales orders with these statuses is shown in the SO Prepared box on the Inventory Allocation Details (IN402000) form.  

Hello,We are using Acumatica to manage VAT on payment / cash-basis VAT.Our requirement is to recognize or track VAT on payment, especially through the screen TX503500 – Recognize Input VAT, but without generating additional GL transactions.This is a one-time / temporary requirement, only until December 2025. Starting from January 2026, we would like to return to the standard Acumatica behavior, including the normal generation of GL transactions related to VAT recognition.From our understanding, the standard VAT recognition process generates GL entries to reclass VAT from suspended VAT to recognized VAT. However, during this transition period, we only want to track or report this information for tax / reporting purposes, without any additional accounting impact.Is this possible in standard Acumatica?If yes, how can we configure it or handle it correctly?Thank you in advance for your feedback and recommendations.Best regards,
