I have been trying everything to send a notification out when an expense receipt is approved or rejected. I am using a business event that triggers based off the status field changing however I have read that this does not work since the approval status does not actually save when updated. At this point I am not sure how else I can approach this. I don't think a schedule would work since I need this to fire off at any time so long as its when an expense receipt is approved/denied.

In 2025 R2, the error message is misspelt for unknown and shows uknown, just an FYI. I already know I needed to import APTran, just wanted to make it known that there is a misspelling there.

How do we give access to the Screen Configuration for a user without granting ‘Administrator’ role?

Please find the explanation below.When publishing the login image in a SaaS environment, if you encounter the error below, follow these steps to resolve it. SystemFile="True" should be specified only for the files that are originally present in the icons folder. The system is only able to replace the images present in original "Icons" folder but not add new images present in the customization project. For example-The Icons folder has 12 login_bg images. But the IconsCustomized has 15 images, so when we publish this package with SystemFile="True" , it gives the following error. Cannot backup the file Icons\login_bg11.JPG: Orig

I have created a generic inquiry that shows customer history.  The GI is from the GL Tran table and I have included an image below of the tables involved in the GI.  The GI works when installed into the side panel of another GII have tried two different ways to install it into the customization project for our Sales Orders.  One time as a Navigation Search Records so that it would come up as a choice under the three dot elipse, and one time as a Navigation Side Panel.   I have published the customization and recieved messages saying it was sucessfull.  I did not however choose to publish all customizations and dont know if that is a required step.  However, you will see in the screen below the status of my actions is new whilc previously published ones are inherited. 

I have created a basic GI, listing the GIs in our system along with Notes:Works beautifully, except that many of the ScreenIDs are missing (in the above screen shot I’m looking for the value GI989031 or GI.98.90.31). The DAC Schema for GIDesign indicates SiteMapScreenID is nonexistent, so I linked to SiteMap. I can see the GI listed in the Site Map. But since SiteMap is related to GIDesign through PrimaryScreenID and it appears many of my GIs do not have a PrimaryScreenID, the SiteMap.ScreenID value remains blank in my results list. How do I get my GI results to show GI989031?The only other values in common: GIDesign.DesignID is contained in SiteMap.URL… but attempting to set up a relation there has not been successful. Am I missing something simple? Any thoughts?

On the "Stock Items" screen IN202500, side panels "Item Sales Prices", "Item Vendor Prices", "Inventory Summary", "Inventory Allocation Details", "Inventory Transaction History", and "Dead Stock", the "Inventory ID" field is not able to be changed 25R2. In 2024R1 thee sub-panels open with the selected stock item applied in the filter, but the user is able to change the Inventory ID once the side panel opens.I tried to review the release notes from 24R2 to 25R2. We have a client utilizing Pro Forma invoices and corrections. We received a request to include an indicator on the Pro Forma invoice that lets users know that a Pro Forma invoice has been corrected.I was hoping to add the PMProforma.Corrected checkbox field to the header of the PF invoice using Modern UI screen configuration. However, this field is not an available element.Has anyone figured out a way to add fields to the available elements list?

I am trying to add a DAC field to the Approve Clock Entry screen. I enabled it in the Customization Project Editor, and the field is displayed correctly in the Classic UI. However, the same field is not appearing in the Modern UI.  

Hi, I’m working on a customization project to incorporate a side panel for our Bills and Adjustments screen, but would like to map the navigation parameters to the Detail Transactions grid so it can reference Subcontract Nbr and Project Nbr. When working on the customization I’m only seeing the limited fields tied to the source APInvoice for selection.Because our invoices are not setup for Single-Project use, I do not have an available Project field to map to. Is there anyway that I can establish this link for Side Panel display and ease of navigation for our teams?

I have a program that PUTs Production Orders via REST API. It worked until our recent upgrade from 24R2 to 25R2. Hello,             Previously, AP505000 (process payments/print checks) are sorted by Reference Nbr. field. Now, we find in 2024R2 ,it changed to sort by Vendor ID/Vendor Name.             Is there a way to overwrite the default sort ,can we change back to sort by “Reference Nbr.”?             I prefer the way without code modification, that just using the tool Acumatica provided. But, if code customization is a must, please help.

Hello, We have created a rather large report. One column is for AR Margin Percent. This shows as a standard 2 digit number in Acumatica (no % sign). When we export into Excel, then format to a percentage, the number grows by 1000. Example 33 would equal 3300%. I know how to correct this in Excel, but seeing as we pull this report often, then the adjustment can become very time consuming. I would like to correct the GI in Acumatica so I do not have to correct it in Excel. Any ideas how to accomplish this? Below is a screenshot of the formula in the GI:  

Are dialog box workflow actions supposed to be unavailable to an import scenario? I was hoping to automate a field update the field/dialog box via import scenario, but the action is unavailable in the import scenario. Workflow actions usually show up in an import scenario, so I was surprised to see this limitation.  

Is that possible to integrate Azure maps in address provider of 2024 R1 Acumatica?

Customer is asking to export various Acumatica entities to Salesforce using the Acumatica Data Provider.  Working with Acumatica support, we were led to believe that it was possible and that you could define the Salesforce schema objects in the data provider based on the exposed Salesforce API.  I thought we would start their first request.  Map Customers to Salesforce Accounts.  The Salesforce data provider is connected and the fill schema fields works.  The customer is using the modern UI.I created a new Export Scenario for Customers to Accounts.  On most of my initial attempts to update a single account, I kept getting an error that multiple accounts found where account = ‘’.  When I added a mapping for the Acumatica customer number to export to the Account ID field, I received the error filter error: select id from account where accountID = ‘0000002’.  Then I put the Salesforce account ID in the External Reference field of the customer and now I get 

Hello,I’m trying to create Payment Amount in a Positive Pay CSV file padded on the left to include 11 total characters like this example: I’ve tried several formulas:=PadLeft(CStr([APPayment.OrigDocAmt]),10,'0')=PadLeft(CStr([APPayment.OrigDocAmt]),10.2,'0')=PadLeft(CStr(Round([APPayment.OrigDocAmt],2)),10,'0')=PadLeft(CStr([APPayment.OrigDocAmt]),12,'0')The above formulas produce results that are padded at the left but include 2 extra digits on the right.I thought Acumatica might be using Price/Cost Decimal Places field in Miscellaneous
