Currently the Acumatica to Avalara/ Avatax ECM connector requires that the customer record have the Primary Contact.  Many clients do not use these fields and certainly wouldn’t use them for requesting a sales tax exemption certificate.  They would use the information on the Bill-To Info tab.  This has the correct emails and phone numbers for these types of requests.  There is also an Account Name or Attention field that can be used as the contact for the request.  The current mapping is not useful,  it would make the connector usable if it mapped to the Bill-To Tab and not the primary contact.

Hello!I am required to get selected the Credit Term on the Sales Order based on the Customer Location or the Order Type, but currently it only provides the option to maintain the term for customer.Is there any way that I can alter this credit term selection?Best Regards 

When exporting a Generic Inquiry (GI) to Excel, the Debit/Credit column is showing Count in the Excel status bar instead of Sum, even though the values appear numeric. This happens because Excel interprets the exported data as text, not numbers.Details:Acumatica Version: 2025 R1 GI Column Expression:   =Round(IIf([GLTranR.DebitAmt] <> 0, [GLTranR.DebitAmt], -[GLTranR.CreditAmt]), 2) GIDespite using CDec() and numeric formatting, the exported Excel file still treats the column as text. This results in:Excel status bar showing Count only. Long trailing zeros in the values (e.g., 5273651.000000000000000000)Is this behavior expected in 2025 R1? Is there a way to force Acumatica to export calculated GI columns as numeric without post-processing in Excel? Any best practices for handling this in GIs? 

We are using the “entity/Manufacturing/23.200.001/MoveEntry/ReleaseMoveEntry” REST API Endpoint to release the move entry at the end of the process.  We get a 202 Accepted response even when the release was unsuccessful.  A couple of reasons for the release being unsuccessful is duplicate serial numbers being received and backflush not being setup properly in the BOM.  In both of these scenarios, we still receive the 202 Accepted response with no body.  How can we “trap” these errors so we can report them to users to make the corrections?  Is there a different API call to use?  Any thoughts would be appreciated.Thank you in advance.

Hello Has anyone seen this error? I added Mass Actions to a GI for Production Order Ticket, but when I try to mass edit them or even one, I get this error. I was looking to complete or cancel multiples at once.  

Is there a way to have a certain payment type always post as a prepayment instead of a payment? For context:We create sales orders and send them to customers so they can pay for their items before they are delivered. The payments made through the integrated payment processor all post as "Payments" which creates a negative AR and really throws the AR Aging reports and overall AR out of whack. Especially since it can be a month or more before an animal is delivered and the SO is converted to an invoice, thus balancing out the AR. Manually generated payments can be posted as "Prepayments" and thereby coded to Customer Deposits instead of AR on receipt and don't cause that issue. Ideally, we'd have specific payment types automatically generate as "Prepayments" instead of "Payments" so that they post to our Customer Deposits account until the item is delivered and the transaction completed. Does anyone know if that is possible?

Hi! For the calendar board in field services, is there a way to easily block off certain time slots for field service employees? The example is I have an employee that needs to block off 2 hours in the calendar board because they have a personal appointment.

I want to share some tips and tricks for Acumatica Payments that is a part of Acumatica ERP 23r2. How to make the Payment Link look nice in the email notificationAcumatica can send Payment links to customers to pay their invoices. The default notification looks something like this: If you want the payment link to look like a text with a link, you need to do the following:Go to Email Templates and open Invoice Payment Link template   Remove the default ((PayLink.Url)) Click Insert → Link   Select ‘File from the Web’, for URL use ((PayLink.Url)), for Insert Link use any text you want and Click INSERT Enjoy your beautiful link in the email!

HelloI’m having an issue in Canadian payroll setup, and I’m wondering if anyone else has run into this and has any suggestions.We have set up a deduction and benefit codes for paying vacation at 4% of total earnings to one of our employee groups. It is a payable benefit, and on the Employer Contribution tab, I have indicated that it should be included in Box 14 for Federal Reporting. According to government websites, we should see that vac amount populated in boxes 14, 24 and 26.On the CAN Tax Setting tab, I have CN at Source selected in the Code Type box.When I process pay it calculates properly, shows on the pay stubs nicely and looks correct, but when we look at the T4, we do not see the amount added in to Box 14 as we would have expected.Appreciate any advice anyone has as documentation is limited. Thanks in advance!

Hello all, I have a generic inquiry created that is supposed to calculate the quote to order conversion rate. The formula we are using is (Number of SO orders with QT type as an original order type) / (Number of QT order type in the system). This is the result: All three fields are calculated fields, using Sum() directly in the formula. Since I am using aggregate function, the GI requires a group by on Order Type. Else it would throw an error. The calculations are all correct by order type, but I don’t want it to be by order type. Using the screenshot above, I want the GI to only have one line, where 2 / 1123 = 0.001809Any idea on how this can be accomplished? Thanks all! 

We’re experiencing a consistent issue where printing documents screens that typically shows the actual document (invoice, statement, remittance, payment register) are sometimes routing the user to a “Process Report” screen and requires manually re-entering parameters (document type, reference number) and clicking Run Report.Same user sometimes gets it right, sometimes gets this screen.

Building a GI where I need to get the most recent “Effective Date” for all inventory items that are a “STAFF” price code. The ways I’ve seen to get the most recent record in GI’s won’t work here because the effective date only lives on the ARPriceWorksheet table and not on the ARPriceWorksheetDetails table where the inventory item, price code, and pending price are. Thanks for the help!

I’ve imported HTML descriptions, but they are not displaying correctly in a report. They are displaying correctly on the stock items screen - just not the report where it is needed.If I go to the stock items screen and make one small change, Acumatica will rewrite the HTML and it will then display correctly in a report. Anybody have any ideas for updating these descriptions so that Acumatica will rewrite the description HTML. Should I put a ticket in for a SQL script? Image1mine is 2024 R2 , i would like to know how to setup home screen as first homepage to all user ? i already navigate to site preference and set homepage there, but after i login as user, what they will see as first page was acumatica default welcome screen as showned below:Image 2after i click home button then only showned as “Image 1” . And then i tested by assigning “Wiki Author” role to any user ID which that role provides access rights for creating Wiki articles, then only that user with “Wiki Author” role can see the homepage article i published earlier on wiki. Can somebody help me ? I need to know how to configure this so that users can access my ‘homepage’ in view-only mode, without assigning any roles that allow them to edit the Wiki content. How can we configure the system so that the first page displayed to users upon login is the homepage containing my Wiki article? Thank you.

Hi,due to the changes in the US regarding duties (800$ de-minimis), we have to collect duties from our customers in Shopify. This works very well, but if i’m correct, there is no solution/field in Accumatica to collect duties in sales orders.So now i’m struggeling how to import those values which i do have in my sales order in shopify to my sales orders in accumatica. Does anybody else have the same issue and already a solution for it?

Hi Acumatica,I am trying to display Serial Numbers on a Shipment Confirmation, but I am running into an issue. When I put this field under the Group Header Section4, it will only display the first number from the list. When I put it in the Details Section, it displays all numbers for all items. I am sure I cannot be the only one with needing this on a Confirmation. Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thank you!
