Trying to extend the length of the UOM field in Acumatica and not having much success. I’ve done the following(This UOM field references INUnit.ToUnit which was previously customized by another developer to extend the field length.):Add the column length increase DB script: That however did not increase the length in the DB so I increased in manually.But I still got this error on the field I’m trying to customize:   So in addition I tried option two from this article: Extend Address Line length - Acumatica Developers Blogand got this error:

Hi, I am doing a testing about the Update Sub. on Order Owner Change function at Purchase Order preferences for future used. So, how does it work? is that when I change the owner of the purchase order, then the expense sub will change based on the department setting?  However, when I change the owner to other department, the expenses sub. will not change, can anyone explain to me how this feature works? I have a GI that queries a custom SQL View using a custom DAC. This GI has parameters StartDate and EndDate. Both of these parameters are not required and neither have a Default Value.GI ParametersI am then using the StartDate and EndDate to filter the results base on the OrderDate as seen here:GI ConditionsHowever, when I run view the inquiry, every time I try to select a date in one of the date parameters, it automatically gets cleared out to nothing - thus making the GI useless. I’ve tried making the parameter dates Default to @Today, but when the inquiry is run, whenever I try to change the date, it automatically reverts back to the default. 22R2 Build 22.213.0010 TIA, Dave

Hello,I am trying to set up multiple system emails to be used by purchasing, accounting, admin etc.After setting up the emails given by customer, after signing in, I tried to TEST it. Then it gave me below error.The email cannot be sent because the account you signed in with does not have permission for using the email address specified in the system email account on the System Email Accounts (SM204002) form. I read some information related to the error in below post. But I would be pleased if anyone could further explain me about conditions. I think email is correctly configured and all permissions are properly set up.What are the conditions to fulfil for the email account to be used?  Further explain - No delegation, send as, send on behalf, or shared mailboxes can be used for this sign in process. Thank you!

Hi All, My client is running production in 1 warehouse but materials are stored in multiple locations. they don’t use backflushing and material will be issued using the material wizard. However, the material lines on the Production could be stored in any location in that warehouse. when we run the Wizard if we don’t have enough on hand on that location the line is not brought over to the material screen. so my suggestions were 1:we have to make sure either to transfer the material beforehand (they don’t like this idea as this is adding extra step compared to what they do now) or 2: change the location on the production order detail looking trough the magnifier (they don’t like this either as it is manual) . They use WMS and they say when they create a production ticket that system aslo gives them a picking list for material issue. if I don’t chage the Location and leave it to be the main here is what happens: the Lines which we don’t have enough on hand will not come over and we cannot

So once, the invoice was saved i disabled the manual numbering option but still not able to release it. Can anyone let me know why is this error getting triggered?Thanks in advance. 

I have users that I have granted access to their role for specific dashboards but some of the items appear as a padlock instead of showing. How can I determine the specific permission that needs to be granted to allow these widgets to function? 

We had UPS Shipping Carrier integration working in Acumatica 2021R2.  We upgraded to Acumatica 2022R1 and although the license is there, we are not able to select the UPS Carrier Plug-in.  Feature is also still enabled.  See screenshots below.  Is there a customization that needs to be published to get the plug-ins?  If so, where do I find those.  I appreciate any help.  

Hi,We would like acumatica to display the first date of a week. For instance: Today it should show 08/28/2023. How can we achieve this?We tried : DateAdd(Today(),'w',-3) and it displays Tuesday’s Date 08/29/23 and not 08/28/23.What would be the best way to do this? Really I want to update the Stock Items screen default price by an import scenario.Unfortunately, the default price field is not showing in the Price/Cost tab to me for creating an Import scenario.I am using the 22 R2 version. How should I get the default price field to the Import Scenario?

Anyone out there using Acumatica Construction module with external time keeping?  Looking to connect with companies that are using partner software for time keeping to get some advice, pros / cons, etc. of these solutions. My company just started using Acumatica ERP and currently integrate with WorkMax for our time keeping solution.  We need to have employees clock in/out in real time and we are starting to do job costing, but are struggling with that.  Any suggestions on time keeping software or on how other construction companies have Acumatica set up and do job costing would be very helpful.

Hello! I’m trying to configure a business event that will look at a customer’s monthly sales vs last months sales and generate a task for a sales rep to follow up on. I am running into issues because my GI uses a formula to note the accounts with declining sales and there’s a grouping by account (GI looks at invoices and is summing by account). Both formulas and groupings are on the list of things to avoid when building a business event. Anyone have any ideas on how to look at this type of data and trigger the business event that will actually work? Thanks!

How does one delete unreleased budget lines.Example: I imported $1 per month for a specific accountI release it.I now update the $1 to $2 per month. I realised I made a mistake, and want to delete this $2 upload. How do I do that? Currently the system errors , because there was a previous released article. I can't Upload zero, because it also wants to be released and then I zero out everything, which I don't want.

Every time when user scan something in the Pick, Pack, and Ship mobile app, the bottom menu pops up and blocks the info they need. After every scan, they have to swipe the menu down. Is there any way to disable the bottom menu pops up?Thanks in advance.     

Hello community,I have come up with a scenario, where I would like to record a security deposit along with prepayments.So for eg: if I have an equipment to rent with rental price of 100$. And I want the customer to prepay (200%) of the complete rental price along with the security deposit. So Rental price = 100$ and Deposit = 100%. But I dont want the security deposit to be recorded into books as I would then be refunding the deposit completely. How can we achieve this in Acumatica?Thanks in advance.

We are working on a process where we are seeking to take a part already in inventory in Acumatica and move it out of the system to ship to a vendor for rework. Upon the rework the part will be modified by the vendor and assume alternate part number nomenclature. We are attempting to move move for instance part 12345 out of inventory to the vendor and receive part 678910 back as the new modified part. We can easily enter a PO line referencing the new inventory ID which will be received in upon modification but are struggling with withdrawing the current part from inventory. I attempted entering a PO for qty. "negative value" to show the withdrawal of the part but the system is not allowing me to do so. What is the Acumatica advised practice for sending parts out to rework which are already in inventory and need to be withdrawn?

Any ideas on how to update the operations ID on the BOM? We need to change it from the value of ‘01’ to ‘0010.’ Every operation ID is line number 1. Thanks ahead!
