In our legacy system before we migrated to Acumatica, we could tack warranty expenses relating to a specific production order. I have not found anyway to do this in Acumatica. Currently, we expense any warranty cost to a GL so we can keep track of overall warranty expenses. But, it would be nice to be able to attribute a warranty expense to a production order in some manner other than noting the Production Number or SN in the description or the expense transaction. Has anyone had the same thoughts or found a solution/ISV to solve this problem?

Trying to send out payment notification emails and receiving the following error: “The email message has not been sent. See the following error message for more information: CR Error: Email send failed. Source notification object not defined to proceed operation..” Has anyone seen this before?  

When I create an issue through the UI, it works. I try to do the same thing through the API, and I get the error noted in the subject. Is it possible to unlink a production order (RO A) from a Sales Order (SO A)? I know I can delete the Production Order but it is already in process and I would rather not disassemble. We decided to reallocate a different Production Order (RO B) of the same item to Sales Order A to get the order out quickly but we can not create a shipment because RO A is not completed yet. Any ideas?

Hello All,One of the production instances is currently displaying the “SAMPLE” watermark in the background of the report. What i did is I modified the complete report in the Sandbox and once the report had been functioning well I then saved it directly to the live environment. But now the system displays the following SAMPLE watermark. How can I get rid of this?

I don’t see any product ideas for having the Journal Transaction screen default to the default cost subaccounts when a client has projects or construction module.  It would be ideal to have the same logic as the AP Bills and Adjustments with chart of accounts that are associated to an account group in Journal Transaction screen.  Has anyone had this same question come up for project related customers?

Hello,I’m wondering if there is a way to change the default column that gets sorted for ship vias on the sales order screen? It’s currently set as Ascending order by the Ship Via column. I would like to have it sort in Ascending order by the Description column by default. Is this possible?Thanks!

Is there functionality on the Customer Portal that allows the Customer to upload sales order lines to the cart,  similar to the sales order upload process?This client’s customers will have sales orders with 100plus lines and would like to allow for an import since the customer uses excel to buildout the order on their end.Wondering if anyone has encountered this as well?

So first off let me lay out my scenario. I work for a food Distribution company. We special order items for customers weekly. Once they arrive to the warehouse, they are manually shipped out to the customer based on when their next order is placed in the system.  I am looking for a way to have them added to the order when it is created. Meaning…. the salesmen creates their normal order, but does not add the special order item. Since that customer has a order out there (ORDER TYPE NS) for the special item when he creates the normal Sales order that is routed on a truck for delivery i would like some type of scenario where when their normal Sales order is in an open state it will add the special order item on there. SO far I have created a GI that pulls my SO’s that ship out that day and on the same GI its listed my special orders that are for that customer. Hi everyone,I have been working through an issue that has me stumped where on the invoice report, it is assigning a completely random ship-via code to drop shipments.Ship Via displayed on the printed invoice Ship Via on the freight details on the invoice As you can see, it doesn't match up. Is there a way to override AR Cash Discount? Payments is not letting me enter cash discount amounts. I am getting the error “The amount entered exceeds the remaining cash discount balance” I am assuming that this is due to the fact that the payment date is greater than the Cash discount date. Can this be overridden?

I have a few processing screens that I’ve created recently that I just noticed recently don’t update their progress until the processing is completely finished. For example, if I process 25 records, the progress bar will spin indeterminately with 25 ‘remaining’ until it has completely finished, and then all 25 will be ‘processed’.This does not strike me as being normal behavior, but I wanted to check in to see if anyone else has experienced this or if I am doing something wrong. Hello - One of our properties has a new procedure for invoices, and wants to send an email to all of the vendors for their property. They are all designated to a specific vendor class that only that property can see. Is there a way to generate an email that would automatically pull in all email addresses from each individual vendor within that vendor class, so we can send a mass email with the new instructions?Thanks!
