I’ve been puzzling through this issue and I’m not sure where to go for figuring this out.Action button on Sales Order Maint willCreate a record in a custom table. Load up the graph for that custom table and press an action button.Custom graph passes it’s record into a method to be updated. Custom graph passes it’s record into a second method to be updated. But it loses changes coming out of the second method. It’s almost like the record is passed into the second method as a copy instead of a reference to the record.If, however, I open up the graph for the custom table and click on the action button - the above process works just fine.  My Order Entry customization is literally pressing the action button on the custom graph.I’m using this form for updating the field values to try and ensure that the correct cache is being updated.myCustomGraph.Caches[typeof(MyDAC)].SetValueExt<MyDAC.myField>(myRecord, SomeValue);andmyRecord = myCustomGraph.Caches[typeof(MyDAC)].Update(myRecord); S

Hi, I am trying to Release an invoice but I get an error  that says GL Error Actual Ledger “ must be defined in base currency USD only. This is happening in our live environment but not in the sandbox (which was refreshed yesterday). This leads me to believe that a setting was changed somewhere inadvertently by a user.  Any help would be appreciated.TIA

Hello - has anyone created a dashboard widget that shows an accounting ratio? For example, we would like to see our debt to equity ratio on our dashboard. The data for that ratio is found in our balance sheet and I do not see the balance sheet as an available data source for widget creation. I am new to creating widgets and not sure where to start. Hello,I’ve run across an issue specific to the PO form.  I cannot reduce the white space between the PO addresses and the next printed line.  As a test, I’ve reduced the size of the section to one line, I’ve reduced the size of the printed elements to 1 line, and everything else I can think of.While I tested, I can get it to only print 1 line of the addresses when I reduce the size of the individual elements, but the white space is never reduced.  Even though I have tried taking the group section sizes down to one line tall.Any thoughts on this?po641000.rpx 

Does anyone have a good way to calculate the weeks of supply based on the current available inventory? I’m trying to add this to a GI and my thought was to base it on the qty sold over the past 60 days; taking that qty divided by 8.57 (the approximate # of weeks that are in 60 days) would give me the qty sold per week. Then I’d need to divide the qty available by the qty sold per week to get the # of weeks supply. But I can’t figure out how to make that work in a formula.

Can you begin to enter physical inventory tags before the month is closed? Enter only, not posted.  (Enter tags while counting is still going on and invoicing has not yet been finalized.) 

We have non-physical items that are sold on our Shopify store (software downloads). These are set up with the “This is a physical product” box unchecked in Shopify: However, this means that customers will not be prompted to enter a shipping address. Because of this, it seems we are getting a sync error: “Taxes cannot be calculated via the external tax provider because the address is missing”.We can go into the Shopify order and manually add the billing address as the shipping address and resync the order which works, but is there a way for us to still sync the order even without a shipping address?

I have an issue when trying to place a SalesOrder via the Rest API. For this scenario, I am getting an error 422 - Unprocessable Entity. The error message is:   "error": "Unit conversion  is missing.; Unit conversion  is missing.", This particular order has a quite a few items, so if the issue is related to one of the products, how could I find that out.Any thoughts on how I could find the offending entity? Thank you!

Hi All,I am looking to find a way to use the total sales amount at the bottom of Daily Sales Profitability report within the line to calculate what percent is the customer contributing to the total sales for a period of time.Ultimately I am looking to achieve the below: Customer              Net Sales    % to TotalABC Company      100,000         10%                            Total Sales                              1,000,000How would this be done? When Related Items are enabled for inventory items, Acumatica will prompt the user that there are related items at the sales order screen. However, this prompt only seems to happen for sales order types that use the Sales Order automation behavior (as set up under sales order preferences → order types). If you have a sales order type set up with the Quote automation behavior, related items does not prompt the user. It seems to me that I’m missing something in the setup because the quote phase is best opportunity for cross & up sell. Does anyone know how to enable related items for the quote type (ie. order type = QT) sales orders? We are using 2022R1 Build 9. Thanks for the help!!Best,Amit

Hi,There are all sorts of wonderful @default values for date fields but sadly none for financial periods. I’ve noticed in the past with GIs that depending on which DAC you use, you might be lucky to get the current period to default in a FinPeriodID based parameter. But you can’t chose the period. Would be really nice to be able to use a param like @CurrPeriod and then if needed adjust it with + or -. eg. @CurrPeriod - 1 is previous period.I’ve built a really nice monthly checks dashboard which is based off a FinPeriodID parameter. I can’t get this to default a value and when the dashboard loads, despite the param being marked as required, all the widgets update even though there’s no value for the period (and hence they all return 0 value).Any ideas? 

How do I stop an Invoice from printing on 2 pages?  When I open the invoice in Acumatica or export to pdf, it shows on 1 page.  When I use the print function, it goes to 2 pages.  How can I fix this?
