Does Acumatica have another way to assign Projects to Work Groups at the Project Level other than Approval Maps. I would have assumed a Work Group or PM (assigned at the project level) could follow an AP Approval WorkFlow without users have to go into Approval Maps. Is there another way to assure WorkGroup AP Bill Approval routing can be achieved.

Hi! I’m new to using Acumatica Report Designer and I still don’t get where I should put table headers for example. In this picture, the highlighted part is what I want to be my first set of columns (and I need three sets of columns). Then I encircled this columns’ respective contents. Where do I put them? I tried to put it in the detail section, then tried putting my next set of columns in another page header section and tried changing places too but I can’t get what I want. I want my first set of columns to list down all contents before showing me next page (2nd set of columns) then next page again (3rd set of columns). I don’t even know if I’m making sense to anyone right now. Thanks for your help! 

Hi,I have a simple piece of code calling field verifying that does not quite produce the required behaviour.  The custom field in question sits in a DAC extension to SOShipment (SOShipmentExt) and is called usrSealNo.  Essentially all I am looking to do is raise an error if the value in this field has been used on any other Shipments (and prevent the record from being saved until a unique usrSealNo is provided). The code in place is:Now, when  a value is entered into the field that already exists on another Shipment, the Field Verifying event seems to raise the exception OK:However,  the user is still able to save the record despite the error being raised.I have other FieldVerifying events in my customisation that do prevent a user saving when the  Error exception is raised.  The difference seems to be that they are on fields that are in a custom DAC, not a DAC extension.Is there some trick to Verifying custom fields in DAC extensions?Thanks in advance for any help on this,John.   

I am trying to port some of my calls over from using the Rest API to using the ODATA4 interface. Using a simple call like this… http://ODATAV4_URL/PX_Objects_In_InventoryItem?$filter=InventoryCD eq 'BCWICFGBLK’&$format=json How to include a list of all the attributes and values associated to a InventoryItem. With the RestAPI, I could just $expand=Attributes and it would return that in the payload. I can’t seem to figure it out when using ODATA. Thank you all! Eric

Scenario:We charge customers a flat fee for expedited shipping (let’s say $10). To accomplish this in Acumatica, we use a shipping term that adds $10 to the sales order.On our end however, we use different carriers based on location using the external plugin feature (linked to different ship-via codes). As a result, Acumatica is adding the freight COST from the carrier as a freight PRICE to the customer in addition to the shipping terms fee.This is because on the  “Order types” screen, we have “calculate freight” set to true.If we set “calculate freight’ to false, it will disregard the flat fee as well. Question:Is there a way to make it calculate only the shipping terms and NOT pass the ship-via cost onto the customer?I know we can hard code the flat fee as premium freight, and get rid of the shipping term, but that is to ideal for us for other reasons.

Hi EveryoneI really hope you can helpI’m a new MYOB Advanced Customisation Developer and I learnt everything I know from the training course and the Acumatica Open University.With MYOB Advanced being an online solution we don’t have access to the database and can’t pull any code into visual studio as we are trained to do in the learning materials.Does anyone have any alternative learning material that could assist be in becoming effective in my customisations while only using the Customisation Project Editor? One Blazing example of issues I have, in the training material we “Customize a Data Class” by “Convert to extension” then edit the code and it becomes part of the DLL. If I “Convert to extension” I get this error:Building directory '\WebSiteValidationDomain\App_Code\'.\App_Code\Caches\PX_Objects_IN_InventoryItem_extensions.cs(25): error CS0101: The namespace 'PX.Objects.IN' already contains a definition for 'InventoryItemExt'\App_Code\Caches\PX_Objects_IN_InventoryItem_extensions.

The schedule seems to not fire. I can run the process button and it works on the Process Form but the Schedule won’t run. The Process Button calls a button on a graph.   The Scheduler is Initialized.  I keep wondering if this is related: The method behind the button on the graph is not static.  I know the button method on the Process Form has to be static, does anything called in the chain have to be static?  Just grabbing  at straws because it doesn’t make sense its not running on a schedule 

I’ve read through the instructions on how to Link a Line on a AP Bill to a Landed Cost document, however I can’t seem to get it to work once the bill is released. Is that a known limitation? It’s not noted on the Wiki help page.

Has anyone had any success in being able to remove the white space (time not worked) on a weekly multi-staff calendar view? I’ve manipulated the rules under Service Management Preferences and I still get the additional, unneeded white space on the view. It makes the weekly view unusable, as you simply get a sliver of an appointment when looking at this view. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, as this is the only issue holding up a large opportunity in moving forward. Thanks, Boyd

Hello Everyone,I am working on an import scenario that adds notes to an AR invoice and if the invoice already has notes, to add a line break then the additional notes. I can get the import to work just fine with records without notes already on them however I cannot add additional notes to that record. Does anyone have a suggestion here? Maybe I need to add something after the last action?

Hello, I have a process that syncs stockitems from Acumatica for use on an external eCommerce web application. I download the images as part of the sync and store them in Azure storage. The web application loads the images from the storage accounts.I am finding that when I download a batch of images...perhaps syncing 10 products in a batch, I will get the first 3 images and then the response stops sending any content. I get an HTTP 200, but I receive no bytes in my download.If I slow down my process it seems to work better.I have seen similar issues when calling the rest API. If I download 1 product at a time, if my sync process goes too fast, Acumatica sends empty results….no error or anything like that. I was able to work around that issue by downloading batches of stock items in groups of 500 and storing the raw JSON to the DB and then doing the ETL steps after.  Is there some sort of limit in Acumatica or a better approach to fetching the images? If I change the default cash account for AP on the Payment Method and Vendor Class level, is there a way to push that change to all existing vendors? 

I would like the standard status popup to show while a long running operation is executing. How do I go about this?I thought placing the operation inside PXLongOperation.StartOperation(Base, delegate {...}); would do the trick but nothing changes. Thanks          

I feel like I should know this but, does anyone know in which table the Avalara Taxes are stored?  I know that the ARTaxTran does not actually store the taxes generated from Avalara, even though they appear in the Taxes Tab on the AR Invoice.  Does anyone know where this data is stored in the DAC layer, if anywhere?
