Is there a way to allocate multiple Sales Orders to a single Production Order?  I have a client that is in a back order status for items with production orders in process.  They need a way to allocation what is being produced to the Sales Orders so they don’t get shipped to the wrong customer.  The production order is for 10 units while the Sales Orders are typically only for 1 or 2 units.

What is the best way to take inventory to 0 when trying to change your costing method on many items? Trying to do it via adjustments is a little difficult since you have to match qty left on hand by receipts. My thought is I would be able to do this via Inventory > Issues  Thanks for any help

We have a client who is getting ready to go-live with payroll.  They have a multi-state payroll with many unions and many certified projects.  They have just told me that they have several employees who live in one state (e.g. WI), but work in a different state (e.g. IL) and there is reciprocity between the states.  So the employee can choose which state that want for State Income tax withholding.  Which isn’t a big deal, it can be done with the Work Location.  Here’s the kicker….The unemployment tax has to be go to the state worked, regardless of the state the employee chooses for withholding.  In my example, the employee lives in WI and want state income tax withholding in WI, but works in IL so the system needs to calculate IL SUTA tax.  Any ideas on how to achieve this?

Hi, this should be simple but I must be misunderstanding something fundamental to Acumatica development.I want to create a stock item and I have the following code:InventoryItemMaint graphStock = PXGraph.CreateInstance<InventoryItemMaint>();InventoryItem newInvItem = new InventoryItem();newInvItem.InventoryCD = "TEST2";newInvItem.Descr = "TEST2";newInvItem.ItemClassID = 49;graphStock.Item.Current = graphStock.Item.Insert(newInvItem);graphStock.Actions.PressSave();I set the ItemClassID and when I call graphStock.Item.Insert(newInvItem) the Acumatica Framework refeshes the newInvItem object and sets fields such as ItemType, ValMethod and BaseUnit.Then I set the Current object and perform the Save Action, all basic stuff.The problem is this, if the ItemClass doesn’t have a Default Warehouse then the code above works fine and the stock item is created. However, if the ItemClass does have a Default Warehouse then the code returns the following error:Error: Inserting  'Inventory Item C

Hi,I have created a lookup to display SOAddresses. However I could not see any columns in the lookup and the only column there in the column configuration is AddressId(when I select it, it also gives an error). Any idea about this? Below are the related screenshots.  Thanks 

Hello,       I understand we are having yellow alert and also the highlight frames like below.         But I am still curious to ask, is there anyway that we could change the font color of “Credit Hold” to RED?    Only this single element.  No other fields. And also it is only red when it is “Credit hold”, it remains black when open or completed.

We are just getting started with Acumatica so we have a lot to learn -  Is it possible in acumatica to build a routing that contains both sequential and parallel operations ? 

Team,Has someone done a customization to add formula editor column in product configurator options that allows us to add some useful/additional information on options level? Or is this in current product roadmap?The current Qty Required column is just quantity of component/option that is used mainly for stock consumption/costing but I need additional information such as cutting dimension to tell shop floor people at what exact length and width of material they need to cut, like in the example below. I have tried using formula editor on Attributes but each option in the configurator has different type of information to be added so ideally it’s a column next to each option.

I have a Business Event that Triggers off a generic Inquiry, once a day at a set time.I want the activity to be logged under the Vendor.If I run the report manually the activity is being logged under the vendor, when the email is generated.When I trigger the business event using the Notifcation Template, an email is generated but the Activity is not logged to the Vendor.Any ideas on what I am missing. Here are the images of the notication template. Notification template  Link to Entity and Account filled I believe the activity should be logged based on setting on the Notification Template.The business event and Schedule are working. I am including the business event.  This is the Mail Setting in the report. Just in case this information is asked for.   Again, when I run the customer report the activity appears under the Vendor.Any help would be appreciated. Matt

Hi All, I ran into an issue with the Order Register report specifically (tested in other reports and they act accordingly).The $TotalAmount in the Footer does not pick up Return orders as negative values.Even after modifying the Line level (Header of Group 1) Section, the values were represented as negative on the line level but are not reflected in the $TotalAmount column. (I created an If statement and multiplied these values by -1:=IIf([SOOrder.OrderType]='RC',[SOOrder.CuryOrderTotal]*-1, [SOOrder.CuryOrderTotal])(just an example of the logic behind it.)The same  goes for $TotalLinesAmount and $TotalQTY.Messing around with the footer level and trying to apply the logic from above just led to the same result or completely overstated amounts.The logic works in Generic Inquiries and their Totals Aggregate functions.Am I missing something here?Did somebody encounter a similar issue before?

I am calling entity/auth/login as restful PI and usually get 202 response.  But every third or fourth time or so get 500 - API Login Limit If I walk away for 10 minutes and come back exact same code works for a whileI have made sure I am logging out after each login.  I am doing them farily slow by hand so maybe a second each attempt.  Any suggestions where I might trty and look to inderstand what I am doijng wrong?Thanks,Keith 

We want to keep track of the vehicles we own and use in servicing our clients. We want to be able to also track any costs to repair or maintain each respective vehicle over time. When creating a vehicle, we can enter purchase information but I do not see anywhere whereby we can track expenses incurred over time for the vehicle. Should we be using some other module to do this? Should we be creating individual internal projects for each vehicle to track costs against them? Any thoughts? Thanks, Joe

Hello, I’ve ran into an issue with a custom report built through the report designer where my totals in the report footer have not been totaling correctly or at all. All of my totals are in variables currently and I’ve got numerous totals to show. I noticed though that if I take the formula from the variable and throw it in just a normal text box, it sums up correctly. I’m not sure if it’s possible but I would like to add tabs inside a tab on the Equipment Screen (FS205000).  This is an image of our current system for our equipment. Under the Forklift Information tab we have tabs for more specific information: Setup, Motors, Batteries, Engine and Transmission, Service Data, Tires, Mast and Safety.  It would be very difficult to add all those fields to one tab. Having all those tabs at the same level as General, Purchase, Components and Warranties, Attributes and Source would also be confusing.  Let me know if it is possible to add sub tabs.

The GI created using the ARPayment table shows the correct amount of the payment.  However when there are multiple invoices being paid by that invoice, that amount showing as being the amount of the payment is equal to the last invoice, not the total payment made by the client.  This is regardsess of whether or not the formatting equations are used or just the data field.Notification GeneratedThe amount shown should be $25876.26
