I would like to understand how do I restrict certain vendor class so user is disallowed to select that restricted vendor class when creating a vendor master

Hi
There is no option to ‘restrict’ access to a ‘Vendor class’ or to ‘Deactivate’ a vendor class, so that its not available for selection while creating new vendors.
Here is what you can do as workaround,
- create a dummy branch under one of your company
- restrict visibility of such vendor classes to above branch
This way, it should not be accessible when one tries create new vendor on any other Company/ branch (active ones).
I have not tested this, you may check at your end.
