This is related to blanket sales orders.  Customer places an order for 500 widgets to be shipped out 50 pcs per month.  Our production process is optimized to make 50 widgets on each production order timed to the desired ship dates.  We can create 10 production orders and then create POs from the 10 production orders, but we get better pricing on the raw materials if we combine the POs and make one bulk purchase. Is there a good way to do this?  We have tried creating a production order for the entire 500 pieces and creating the PO from that Production order, but then we need to create the actual production orders for 50 pieces that the materials will be issued to. It get confusing because the materials are issued to production orders that are not the production order the materials were purchased for.

Hi all, I’m trying to create an import scenario to change the ship via when an order includes an alcoholic item. I’ve created a GI to catch all the orders with the targeted items, and then have a business event setup to run every time a record is inserted into this GI. The business event then runs the import scenario. It says it’s running without errors, but the sales order ship via’s are not changing. And also, it looks like the business event is running multiple times instead of just once per record? Anyone know what I might be missing? Thanks! 

The customer has a Production Order and configures to Backflush Material and Labour. I discovered that when the customer uses Create Move, the system uses the Branch with WIP and Recovery Accounts. (Basically, driven by the User and Current Logged-in Branch).  Is there any way to override Branch Selection for GL Posting from the Work Centre in (BOM).Thanks for your quick pointers  

Hi all. I have a tenant with no transactions therein. I have a GL account and 1 subaccount with 5 fixed segments therein. These obviously appear in all profiles. I need to reduce these 5 segments to four. Is there a simple way to do this (auto update) without deleting 200 posting classes and so forth

Hi Sir if we would like change inventory ID for certain part #. All the information are same and only change the inventory ID . How do we make the change in system? example from inventory ID : ABC change to XYZ     

Is anyone else using the Cost Projection module in the construction edition of Acumatica? It works OK for us but one nuisance is the copy revision. When you copy revision there is a checkbox for ‘refresh budget’. When this is checked, the new revision will have the latest and greatest actual costs - great.However… it also resets the budgeted fields. This is problematic because say we have a cost code that we deem 100% done but now after the Copy > Refresh - that cost code is back to its actual percent complete.Does anyone know if it’s possible to have the system KEEP projected costs + quantities? The only way around this we’ve found is exporting the finished copy (with projections modified) then reimporting that after the new copy is created.

I have created attributes on stock items which I would like to display on the production ticket. When creating a GI, I can pull this information from this field InventoryItem.INVENTTYPE_Attributes. But on the report designer, this field is not available. How do I pull the attribute field through report designer? Do I need to create a table relation with CSAnswers through Schema Builder?

Hi @All I created subcontract for a project but original committed amount values are not getting in the fields under project cost budget tab. 

There is an out of the box GI in Acumatica that I am trying to get to the Lot numbers to pull onto so that I can put it on a dashboard and I am having zero luck. This item has Lot numbers but I can not get the GI to pull them. Any suggestions?  Here is the GI

Hi, Currently we have to create different sequence under rate lookup screen to map sell/charge rate by project and by equipment (Non stock item) and in some cases client is having so many equipment for each project and because of this we have to create different sequence under rate lookup screen to assign the sell/charge rate by project & by inventory, refer to below screenshot.Therefore is there any way we can easily achieve this, without creating different sequence for each project & equipment/non stock item to define sell rate. which will then be use under billing rule.      I would really appreciate if some one can advise me on above point. Thanks Pankaj 

Good day,I was wondering if someone could help me identify the reason for an error I am having when I insert CustomerLocationID creating an invoice. I receive data from a SOAP API endpoint, and I have a method to create customers and Locations if they don’t exist in acumatica to insert them on their corresponding fields. After my code verifies if the first Location exists and creates the new location or if already existed, just assigns it to CustomerLocationID field, it creates the first invoice successfully, but from there the second invoice gives an error that says there was a problem processing the field Location value “Any Location” Location cannot be found in the system.I don’t understand why the error says cannot be found in the system, when I check Customer Locations in Acumatica, it did create the new Location, and if I try to create the invoice manually with that Location, it saves with no problem. the first fragment of code is the class where I create the invoice and the seco

I'm trying to create a simple GI to display vendor contact information. I've connected the PX.Objects.AP.VendorR table to the PX.Objects.CR.Contact table and related them by bAccountID field.I'm able to get the results I'm looking for, however I've added the "IsPrimary" field to the results so users can see which contact is the primary one for that vendor account and it does not appear to be working correctly. In the GI results that field is displaying a False result (unchecked box) for all contacts, even those designated as the Primary contact in the Vendor.Any thoughts as to how to fix this?

Good morning..I am wondering if there is a report or inquiry I can run. The data I’m wanting to pull is customer along with a word of item description that has been sold to this customer. For example, we have customer ABC and we have sold them FLAGS. We want to search by item description that has the word “flag” in it being sold to the customer. We get such items from more than one vendor, so it may not be one specific inventory ID.Any help is greatly apprectiated!

I am trying to find a way to view deleted shipment records to discover who is deleting them and why they are being deleted. I tried to do this through a GI but I don't think the Shipments table supports exposing deleted shipments. Does anyone have a better idea as to how I can accomplish this?

Error when trying to release production order when using parent item lot on completion selection. 

Creating an import scenario to mass update the detail section line of a group of invoices. I seem to be adding a new line rather than updating the existing one. Here’s my import scenario which is adding a new line and updating to account 40005 instead of updating the existing line.

The size of the database is over 25GB, and the versions of Acumatica and the database match.    I created a folder under the Acumatica installation directory, assuming it is located at C:\Program Files\Acumatica\Database\Data\NewFolder. I extracted the contents of the exported snapshot's .zip file into the newly created folder. After that, I run the Acumatica ERP Configuration Wizard. During the Tenant Setup step, I selected the option with the name of the folder (NewFolder) that I had created.
