When we activate an approval, all new sales orders are created with an on-hold status.SO type is set to NOT be on hold by default.So we want the approval enabled, but we do not want new sales orders to default to "on-hold" unless the approval criteria are met.Remove hold is what triggers the approval process, so it does not matter if they have "Hold Orders on Entry" option disabled.If you setup an approval map, all documents will always be created in Hold status so when they are taken off hold the system will review map conditions and assigned an approver if the conditions are trueApproval map will always override any hold documents option under preferences screen.

We use an address validation tool in BigCommerce to validate addresses prior to them being imported through the BC Compactor into Acumatica. Recently we started receiving errors like the following: The AU country does not have a state with the name 'VI'. Make sure that you have specified the state according to the 3166-1 alpha-2 standard. We have set up the two-character codes for state, in this case “VI” for Victoria, Australia in the Countries/States screen in the entry for Australia. Yet we still get the error. We only recently implemented this address validation tool. Prior to that we did not validate and accepted three-character states for AU. Any thoughts on what we can do to get these orders through the connector? ThanksPatrick

I have created a GI to display attributes on the BAccount entity  This works fine but when I add a new attribute it doesn’t show up as an attribute to select.I can join BAcount to CSAnswers and see that the Attribute is there  But it’s not available in the field list, is there something else I have to do to get it to show up in the GI? Thanks, Chris

Hi All, Can you help to figure out why the option - Publish to multiple tenants is not enabled?I can’t find any permission issue that would set it off. When I publish from one tenant some changes like the ones on the screen is added to other tenants as well. Basically other tenants do get a half baked customisation. As a workaround I exported and imported the same customisation to all tenants and published individually. Is this okay to do? I also have one variable value that needs to be changed in Production tenant only. So I am thinking to change that value in production customisation and publish in production.  Am I doing this right or can there be any implications?  Thank you very much!

I need help importing overdue AR balances into the system. I have the template to use but for some reason i cannot get the balance to link to the details total without adding any inventory.we are switching from Quickbooks to the System and the export from QB only gave me the balance and not the line items.so is there a better way to import this information?

I have added this header in my report and when i’m extracting this report in excel format this header is disappearing.

Hello,I am trying to create a GI to help assist in tracking Transfer Orders. Mainly the corresponding shipment and receipt (if already received).  I am looking for the following at minimum: Date (SOOrder.OrderDate)Transfer Order Number (POReceiptLine.SoOrderNbr)Shipment Number Ref (SOShipment.ShipmentNbr)Receipt Number Ref (POReceipt.ReceiptNbr) Essentially, I want to create an inquiry so I can quickly identify what transfer orders have been created, the corresponding shipment ref and then final receipt ref. Additionally I would like to add the From Warehouse, To Warehouse and quantity(this is not completely necessary). I took my first shot at creating one from scratch and the GI just times out. Just learning GI builds and it is a tough slog.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I am working with a client who is beginning to utilize the deferred revenue module for deferred expenses\amortizations. When a schedule is created using a flex code, the transaction amounts just seem random. I needed to conditionally disable the Standard Delete Action Button of a grid. Lat say the view associated with the grid is MyView. I can get some of the grid action buttons’ names like the Upload button using something like “MyView$ImportAction”. I need the same for the grid Delete Action Button. So I am trying “MyView$DeleteAction” and “MyView$Delete but seems nothing exists that I can Enable/Disable in the RowSelected event. If that was for the whole grid I could just simply set its Cache.AllowDelete = false but I need only disable on specific lines. Any idea how can I make this work?

I can’t change my segmented key for my cost code because the default cost code is unable to be changed. When I click the Change ID button, I get:Error: The Change ID button is disabled.Then the button disappears. If I attempted to change the ID manually by clicking in the ID box, I get: PM Error: Cost code number cannot be updated directly. Use the Change ID action.I need to change this and I am completely not sure what to do here.

Is there a way to create some kind of alias/attribute/etc. to group certain subaccounts (which we use for departments) together, without fundamentally changing the naming/numbering convention of the subaccounts?For example,000000 Main; 000100 General Corporate; 000200 Sales; 000300 ITFor this example, I would want to pull Subs 000000-000300, but not count 000200 (e.g., Corporate Overhead reporting).Aside from creating a hidden row that sums 000000-000300 and subtracting a hidden row that only contains 000200, is there a way to create some kind of alias (e.g., CO) to assign to 000000, 000100, and 000300, which I can then use in financial reporting?

See the transaction description for details. E00040: Customer Profile ID or Customer Payment Profile ID not found.. Am I missing something in the sale demo config?

I would like to get some of my confusions clarified regarding implementation and go-live for a customer.I would like to know if it is possible to get a live production instance installed over a server if the customer doesn't want to get it implemented by any Acumatica partners. I know it is better to go with Acumatica Partners but is this exception possible?If yes, please let me know how can a customer achieve it. As I have seen many of the community members are themselves Acumatica customers, so was wondering if they have implemented their systems without any partners.Also, my other confusion is related to the demo instance. I have seen whenever we create a new tenant, not in the production instance, the complete tenant is like a vanilla environment. Hello,We have been designing a Payment Voucher report, which needs to have multiple copies (with slight variations) when printing. Currently, we are doing this by way of subreports - the main report passes the parameters back to identical subreports, and sectional page breaks split the copies into 3 pages.This has worked well, with the exception that footers in the subreports (which have Print at Bottom enabled and A4 paper size) don’t print at the bottom of their respective pages, probably due to how subreport nesting works.  We have tried manually setting the height of the subreport to A4 height in the main report, but this doesn’t seem to work either.Any ideas?

Good day,We are trying to adjust out inventory that no longer exist or has been used in an old warehouse that is no longer going to be used.  We want to reduce to the On Hand to zero and the close/deactivate the warehouse to avoid any new sales/purchases to this warehouse.IN Error: The multiplier must be equal to 0 or 1.  I can’t fine a fix to this error to allow us to release the adjustment.  Any suggestions would be helpfulThank you.@Evan G   

We have a manufactured part that is on backorder on numerous Sales Orders.  I have an “emergency” Sales Order that must go today before we fulfill all previously entered Sales Orders.  We have processed the part, item added to inventory but Acumatica has applied the item to the oldest outstanding backorder and is not available to pull on the “emergency” order.  Is there any way to circumvent/turn off this function off?

Here’s the scenario:We are creating a large blanket PO for ~ 30 different countertops which are all custom and will be drop-shipped to different customers. We would like to be able to link the drop-ship POs to both the blanket PO as well as linked to the end-customer Sales Order. Is it possible to be linked to both?    

Hi All, I am currently working on an Inquiry for a Dashboard where I need to group by a certain Segment.I did it once before with Inventory Subaccounts:   Yet, now I am working with Projects and the Contract CD Field is segmented.I tried it this way, yet get the error that PMProject.ContractCD_Segment1 is not existing.Does anybody know how to properly incorporate the Segmented Keys here? If this helps, the Alias is referring to the CS.Segment Table
