I can’t change my segmented key for my cost code because the default cost code is unable to be changed. When I click the Change ID button, I get:Error: The Change ID button is disabled.Then the button disappears. If I attempted to change the ID manually by clicking in the ID box, I get: PM Error: Cost code number cannot be updated directly. Use the Change ID action.I need to change this and I am completely not sure what to do here.

I would like to get some of my confusions clarified regarding implementation and go-live for a customer.I would like to know if it is possible to get a live production instance installed over a server if the customer doesn't want to get it implemented by any Acumatica partners. I know it is better to go with Acumatica Partners but is this exception possible?If yes, please let me know how can a customer achieve it. As I have seen many of the community members are themselves Acumatica customers, so was wondering if they have implemented their systems without any partners.Also, my other confusion is related to the demo instance. I have seen whenever we create a new tenant, not in the production instance, the complete tenant is like a vanilla environment. My report is calculating the conversion from the first line “From Unit “G” grams)” and I need help with getting my report to calculate the conversion from a specific Form Unit line (GAL). Attached is my Report Designer. What do I need to add or change to  point my conversion to Gallons instead of Grams? Acumatica Item Code Conversions Report Designer Value Expression 

Under the Construction Module, we are finding loading time under our Projects profile is running incredibly slow.  Once we are in the project, it is running fine.  It’s just the loading time between searching projects.  Everything else is working fine.Is anyone else having issues?  

Has anyone seen this?  I don’t know how to explain this?This pdf invoice does not show correctly in the annotator panel, but when you download it, there is a section with the details that does not display in the annotator panel.  

First, I’m not a developer by trade.  However, I like challenges.  Requirements: create three UDFs within Purchase Orders (Estimation Notes (text), Warehouse Last Review Date (date), and Warehouse Shipping Notes (text)).  Two of these fields (the “Warehouse” fields) must be modifiable regardless of the state/status of the NORMAL type PO.  The third field, Estimation Notes is only used during PO creation and not modified afterwards.  All of these are needed within the Details Grid.  One existing field, POLine.PromisedDate is needs to be modifiable as described for the other fields.I created the three fields within the Details Grid. I then created an extension named mrROExtension in the workflow.  I added the all of the UDFs to the workflow extension.  I then created the Code graph managing the RowSelected base handler.  After verification and compilation, no errors.  Upon publishing to my local instance/tenant, all appears to work as desired.I would greatly appreciate C

Hi there,I created business events that sends out an email via an action trigger. The only thing is that there is an (all) option when you create an action trigger. Well I don’t want anyone to accidentally select the (all) option and send an email message to every ticket in the screen.How would I go about either disabling the use of the (all) option or having it not even appear as an option?I tried using the automation steps screen to disable the action but it still appears as an action you can use.I assume there’s an easy way of doing this but can’t seem to find anything on the web.Any help would be appreciated :) 

Hello,      I saw we already have a feature be voted:Add Customer Loyalty/Reward Point accumulation, application, and tracking functionality | Community (acumatica.com)   But we are dealing a bit different business, we are selling to wholesalers, and wholesalers then distribute to end customers.  So the end customers are not our customers, which are not existed in Acumatica system.  What we want is to set up a Points reward screen, then the end user can register data on the screen. In this way, by rewarding end users, then would encourage end users to purchase more frequently from distributor and distributor purchase more from us.  Does anyone know we have such Customization package or add on from software vendors? 

Is there a way to change the way a name displays from Last, First to First Last?

Our standard protocol for new users has been setting a default password but required the ‘Force User to Change Password on Next Login’ checkbox under each user profile. The issue I’m discovering is that the mobile app does not like that. It will say invalid credentials instead of popping up some type of interface allowing them to set the password. This is troublesome as users then have to use a web browser for the first login, set password, then can begin using the mobile app. Has anyone else discovered this?

Hello.  We have a biometric clock for finger prints on sites (construction edition) that captures workers time in/out.  Another function pulls the logs of the timeclock to our local network and an excel file opens and the Velixo writeback function either updates or adds (if doesn’t exist) an employee time card.Everything works fine, but we want to automate this and when Power Automate opens the excel file, the Acumatica from Velixo is no longer there.I’m guessing it’s because an automation routine is loading excel and not seeing myself as the user so Velixo isn’t installed.Anyone have experience with this or a work around?

Hello - When browsing the payables screen, in one tenant, we are still able to view our amounts on the Bills and Adjustments main screen, even when the Bill is “closed”(screenshot 1). However, on another tenant, we are only seeing a 0.00 amount for any Bill that is closed.(screenshot 2) Making it frustrating if attempting to search for an invoice/bill by a particular amount, without having to drill into each on individually. I am sure this is just a preference somewhere but I have not been able to track it down. Can anyone point out some tips or tricks to make this populate?Thanks!   

We have a blanket PO for 1000 widgets. A requisition is entered for 150 of these widgets. We create a purchase order against the requisition for 150 widgets.Issue: There is no way (I can see) to tie the blanket purchase order to the order just created from the requisition.Resolution #1: We create the purchase order from the requisition.  Add another line using “ADD BLANKET PO LINE” to mimic the purchase order line detail.  Then delete the purchase order line detail that does not have the blanket PO tied to it.Resolution #2: We allow the requisitioner to enter in a purchase order but it must be approved. We were going to have all departments create requisitions for purchases they need.  The purchase order department was going to create the PO’s from these requisitions.  We wanted to do this because we want the “Requistioner” on the printed PO we send out (Resolution #1).  However, maybe we need to allow departments to enter PO’s and go

An Acumatica client  recently saw a webinar (Jan-Feb 2021) with new features that are to be added to the Acumatica Customer Portal to allow a customer to view an invoice and process a payment for an invoice.  Can you verify that feature – taking a payment on the portal, what release and what is the cost? I just reviewed the 2021 R1 release notes and saw no reference to this.  Do you know if this is planned?  And…. If you can direct me to any documentation or a webinar that would be great.

Does anyone know the availability Acumatica record metadata if images are stored at Azure Blob Storage or Amazon Simple Store Service?

 I can’t seem to find a way to match the print job ID to the Shipment # that the print job was generated from in a GI. We are printing our shipping labels from the process shipment screen and would like to reference and print older labels on occasion. The only way to do that is through the print job screen, but the problem with that screen is we can only see the print job. Trying to reprint a label through the print job screen is a guessing game as there is no way to know which print job was connected to which order.  Am I missing something?

I have a business event calling an import scenario (Issuing out the goods on a PO). The event frequently says the Lot/Serial number can’t be found. If I go into the History, I can see the failed event, hit reprocess and it works.So... Is there a way to get this event to try and reprocess on it’s own? Maybe like breathe for 5 minutes, then retry any failed events?I’m assuming this is either a failure on Updating IN in a timely manner or my import scenario sucks and it’s probably my import. hoping for the easy method of forcing the B/E to reprocess though, since that seems to go without issue.

Hello - Where does one go for support when connecting bank feeds to an institution like Capital One, where the AccountOwner data does not come down from the bank feed? Tried MX and Plaid - neither one brings down any AccountOwner or descriptive data that indicates who is making a charge. Tried logging cases in Plaid and MX but got rejected with message saying my link id was incorrect. Looking for any guidance - this is an issue for several customers who purchased bank feeds and are not able to take advantage of automated expense management because the data is not available to map to Corporate Cards in Acumatica.

Log out and log back in and it seems the main screen seems to hang and can take about 30 to draw/display.Known bug? Something we can try to alleviate?

I have this GL Error showing up when I am disposing an asset owned by CEMPLEXFL branch but wanting to deposit into my MAIN branch CASH account - that is NOT restricted by branch visibility.  It will not let me reconcile my Fixed Asset.  I am thinking the FA module is not set up correctly with the multibranch ?  Can anyone advise?  THanks  

Is there a way to restrict information mobile users can see?  For example, (with project/job costing) can a project manager only be presented with his/her specific jobs, cost codes, etc. and not the entire project/cost code, account groups?  In particular, asking this in regard to Advanced Expense Management mobile users who would select the appropriate project, etc., after OCR has run?Of course, this would apply to other mobile users who need to interact with manufacturing, distribution, etc.

Hi there -If you are viewing a Timecard, it is easy to see the total Time Spent for each line (project/task/labor item/etc.). It is not easy to see the total Time Spent per day. If the employee is working on many different projects and tasks throughout the week, it is difficult to get a quick picture on how many hours they worked for a given day.Subtotals by day on the Summary tab of the Employee Time Card seems like a quick, but very useful addition. Thanks,Derek
