Have a question on how to deal with change order costs:  I will use an example of a time and material ticket.  We have a dummy cost code setup for change order costs that happen before an approved change order is processed.  Therefore, we have a dump code that is accruing change order costs and then I’m going in and entering the cost budget side AGAIN when the change order gets approved.  Not only now am I doubling the costs but Acumatica does not know that the costs in the dump code are related to a change order - it’s getting bundled into the original cost budget.  How can I handle this so that these costs can at least go towards the change order after the fact? 

This should be very easy to do, but I cannot find an easy solution.  I have 26 employees who now report to a different supervisor.  Is there not a way to simply change all 26 employees “SupervisorID” at one time?Do I have to write a GI with Mass Update to do this?  That seems like a major oversight in very simple administration if that is how I have to do that.Thank you,

Is there a way to set a Project ID by default at Vendor Level so whenever a PO or an AP Bill is created it populates automatically?I see that that there is an option for Customers, but not for Vendors.Thanks

I have an employee that had 2 emails (RC and RS).  She was added to Acumatica as a userid with the email (RC) using Active Directory.  Then an  employee record was created and attached to that (RC) user id.The email (RC) associated with her userid is no longer going to be used.  I need to add her to Acumatica with her new email and userid for (RS) and associate that new userid/email with her employee record.I am running into 2 issues:I do not see her new email when I use the Add Active Directory User button.   How do I associate a new user id with an employee record when the employee record shows the previous userid disabled under the user info tab on the employee form.Can I delete her old userid (RC)?  And if I do, if I try to add her new userid (RS email), will it show list the new email address under the Active Directory button?If I delete her old userid (RC) and create a new one with her new (RS) email, will it allow me to associate this new userid to her employee record?

Hi,In practice our customer post some payment entries to GL in bulk. The bank shows these payment transaction one by one in the bank statement. In this scenario, what is the possibility of matching one cash book entry to several bank statement transactions when doing bank Reconciliation. Please refer below example,Company records transaction as below,Bank Charges A/c  Dr    100Salaries & Wages   Dr   1000Cash Account           Cr    1100in the above example Bank statement shows the transactions as below.Bank Charges      (Disbursement)  100 Payment               (Disbursement)  1000In this case how can I match cash book transaction of 1100 to 100 and 1000 bank statement transactions.  Thanks,Dulanjana 

How can we move the costs from a service order to a project.  We have multiple service orders that have turned in to projects.  this happens often when we go to a customers to fix some a piece of equipment and due to the condition of the equipment we quote the price of replacement and we include the costs from the service order in the quote so we don’t invoice for the service order. Weeks or months later  we replace the equipment and the cost from the service order need to get included in the project so we can show the customer we included the service order, and the revenue from the project stays with the costs from the service order.  This happens frequently leaving open service orders.  our revenue doesn’t match the costs on projects making the projects profitable and the service order not profitable.My only thought is to do a GL transaction, but it won’t affect the service order, just the project.  the appointment has time activities on it, so it won’t let me do anything with it.  A

I would like to create a few Account Classes that have an “Equity” account type associated to them. (for example, “Common Stock” and “Paid In Equity”).  But that “type” of account type does not exist and there is no way to add a new type.Why was this excluded?  Is there a work-around for that?Thank you,

Client wants the user to be forced to select a location rather than have it default into the sales order after selecting the customer.Acumatica forces the selection of a “primary” location which will default into the sales order screen.This field is required so it cannot be “blanked out.”Was wondering if we might be able to create a workflow that would automatically open the location lookup window after the customer has been selected and the default location fills in.Any other suggestions would be great, just brainstorming here.

Does anyone know how to load external url image to Acumatica Form?I added an URL as User-Defined Fields in SOLine. I want to create a new form for the SOLine that can display the image of the URL, foe eample SOLine.UsrImageUrl = https://designerimages.artifi.net/UserPhoto/0e8a78b2-eea3-475e-b38c-b3ea2b606926/Customize/Standard/5f2142de-766c-44a0-8f32-0b447de9f6e2.png. The new form will display the image of the URL when an SOLine is selected. Then I want to add this new form as a side panel of Sales Order Entry screen. So when user click an order line, the side panel will display the image of the line. 

I have made some changes to the Mobile app for Timecards as we want the TotalTimeSpent, TotalBillable and Billing Ratio to Display under the Time Totals so it matches the windows screen update screen EP305000 {    update Container "DocumentSummary"{    update Group "TimeTotalsGroup" {    update field "DocumentSummaryTotal#TotalTimeSpent" {      placeafter field "DocumentSummaryTotal#TotalBillable"    }    remove field "DocumentSummaryRegular#TimeSpent"    remove field "DocumentSummaryRegular#Billable"    add field "DocumentSummaryTotal#BillingRatio"    }    }       }I cannot get the Billing Ratio to appear on the mobile screen the other fields do correctly.

Has anyone connected to ShipStation in 23R1 via having the “Custom” - Shipping Carrier Integration enabled?  I can’t seem to find documentation on how this is possible. 

Hi,I am configuring Field Services and have a question. When I create a service order and try to select a branch location per the screenshot below: It does not display all of the branches to select from under Branch Locations. It only displays the branch that is at the top of the screen. Refer to second screenshot.    There are company access roles setup under Companies but would that be causing the issue?  Let me know what setting I have to configure so users can select from any Branch Location that was setup under the Service module.Thank you,Frances

Hi all, We’re still in implementation and I’m testing out the creation of Stock Items through the APIs. Back when we had two segment Item Classes, I had no trouble creating Stock Items. However, now that we’re testing out 5 level Item Classes, I’m having trouble finding the right ItemClass to send through the API. I keep getting “...cannot be found” on the Item Class object.For example, here is a class from the Acumatica view:  ONS.PIPE____.__REG___.________.___I’ve tried passing multiple combinations of that class. What is odd is when I query the stock item with that class, this is the output: I’ve tried using that string as an input also. Any help is greatly appreciated. 

We went live recently and are trying to brainstorm a more efficient method of expensing Purchase Order vs. A/P Bill variances.  Ideally, any variance below a defined threshold (like 5% for example) would be ignored and inherit the original PO account coding, with those items exceeding the threshold submitted for additional review and approval.Has anyone been able to implement anything similar to this?  If not, I’m curious to hear how other Accounting departments are processing these variances.

I’ve checked the former questions and found useful information on this one:and still have 2 main question:Sometimes a vendor have multiple bank accounts. How to store all its bank account numbers under one payment method? On the page of each AP bills, we decide for this bill a specific vendor bank account to make payment to. But I couldn’t find this information anywhere inside an AP bill. Is it possible to show it?Thanks!

We are having an issue with the AIA Report (PM644000). When we have the Project Tasks selected to be “Invoiced Separately”, the Main page of the AIA Report is including the entire contract values (all Project Tasks), instead of only including the amounts for each specific project task. The Continuation page is exact & only shows the Project Task that is being invoiced.Is there an easy way to have the AIA report be project task specific when Invoiced separately is selected?  Let me know if you have a better idea, or need clarification. Thanks, 

Is there a way to change the default navigation behaviour inside forms to not default to a popup window?In GIs you can change the behaviour easily, but I don’t see any options to change the behaviour on any non-GIs, where the glut of pop-out windows that override eachother actively disrupts workflows

I would like to create a Generic Inquiry that list Service Orders - not completed up to a specific time <= 7days, <=30 but >7days;  <=60days but > 30 days; <=90days but > 60days ..... and  can be filtered by supervisor. Would eventually like to turn into a dashboard.
