We have a BOM export that comes in this format - which we are looking to import:As you can see, the column header information starts on row 4. Can we design the data provider/import scenario to read the fourth row as the header information? Also, will the total row break the import?

I recently posted about a file attachment issue which is resolved but I found that the email I am sending, which is a notification, has formatting associated with its template. by formatting i mean the company logo and such. code which works is: var sender = new NotificationGenerator{    To = jmSetup.EmailTo,    Subject = "File",    Body = "",    BodyFormat = EmailFormatListAttribute.Text,     AttachmentsID = attachementsID,     RefNoteID = jmSetup.Noteid    };sender.Send(); I am looking to send the attachment I created in a blank email.  How do I get rid of the formatting for the email just for this one send, not all Notifications, only the one I send from this screen in the above code? I was thinking part of it might be to change it to EmailFormatListAttribute.HTML (images at least will go away)

Scenario: A sales order is entered for qty 100 of a manufactured item. A production order is created for all 100 pieces to drive the material requirements.Only 5 pieces are going to be produced and shipped this week, but when the RELEASE MATERIALS action is selected, Acumatica always puts the total material for the whole production order (unless there are shortages) and the user has to adjust every single line so that material is only released to cover the 5 units being produced (there could be hundreds of line items): Is there a way to select the quantity to be produced off of the production order, and have Acumatica calculate the required component quantity automatically so that each line doesn’t have to be manually adjusted?The work around I have them using right now is to export this list from the Material Wizard to excel, use excel to calculate the required quantities for the partial production quantity and then upload the spreadsheet on the Materials screen as a new transaction. 

How best do I enable selection of employees from the “Requested By” Field of the Purchase Request Screen? 

Is there a way to default the login experience to just entering the code that is automatically emailed and not suggesting via Mobile App?  This is the page I would like them to be 1st presented with instead of the Mobile App one  - Thanks,Brett

What is the difference between Qty and BaseQty in Acumatica and when should I use each?For example the SOShipLineSplit has both a Qty and BaseQty column.  there is also a PackedQty and BasePackedQty on the SOShipLineSplit. This pattern is used with other tables then the SOShipLineSplit though.  Thank,Philip Engesser

Our product has certain components that trigger a hardware bag that goes into a kit box for on-site installation by the End Customer.  For instance, if a Door is included in an order, the kit box will contain a Door Hardware Kit Bag.  That kit bag will contain:(6 EA) Carriage Bolts - CARRBOLT (6 EA) Wing Nuts - WINGNUT (6 EA) Nylon Acorn Nuts - ACORNNUT (6 EA) Washers - WAHSEREach of the above-listed Items are Stock Items with Inventory IDs Contained in a BOM (let’s say the BOM’s Inventory ID is HDW-DOOR, and the above-listed items are are in that BOM).Is there a way of extracting the BOM Contents of HDW-DOOR and exporting the contained Stock Items & Quantities to a Hardware Bag Label for printing to a Print Job via Bartender to a a Zebra Printer?It would look something like this (preferably with a header containing the Customer Name and Sales Order Number):  John Doe - SO # 003567Door Hardware(6 EA) Carriage Bolts - CARRBOLT (6 EA) Wing Nuts - WINGNUT (6 EA) Nylon Acorn Nuts - ACO

Understand they implemented a new feature but it’s virtually broken. Even the signature captured has an “error” and can’t be upload.Please rectify any workarounds, this update has greatly distrupt operations. 

I’m trying to do an Import Scenario to my INLIGHTIND Attribute which is Multi-Select Combo where I select multiple values. Below is what I have going. I tried importing as a comma separated list, but it didn’t recognize it and I added the values to different lines, but it just overwrote the first one and took the second. Ideally I can use the Value Description rather than the Value ID too. Any ideas? 

Is there a way to partially bill a customer from contract management? For example, the contract is setup as a monthly contract that bills the 1st of each month. Sometimes, the contract may be started mid-month and there is a need to bill the first month at a prorated amount. I can’t seem to find an option for this. 

Hi everyone, When exporting file attachments, in this case the Shop for Rates excel export, it downloads to my computer in a strange way. It says its an Excel file, and the file size is 5 KB.  After I open the excel document and save it, the file size jumps up to 9-10 KB.  The main issue I’m having is when trying to import these export files into Power BI (or even Jupyter notebook and Python). If I try to import the file into Power BI before saving it, I get this error: Does anyone know what the file type really is when it is exported from Acumatica? And is there a way to have this change to a “Valid excel document” without having to open up every file, save, and close?  Thanks in advance!

Receiving the following error when trying to release a payroll batch.“no suitable employee earning type has been found acumatica”Just started happening during the new fiscal year. same employees no recent changes.

We have a report that we want to highlight the last billed date if it is six months or older, but I’m having trouble getting the correct coding to make it happen. I know that I’ll have to have two overlapping fields, one visible for the highlighted dates, and one visible for the non-highlighted dates. For the highlighted dates, everything I’ve read has lead me to believe that =[ContractBillingSchedule.LastDate]>=Today(),'m',-6 should work, but it doesn’t. I’ve tried adding additional parenthesis, apostrophes, etc., but always get the same error: Syntax error in the expression. Context: TextBox 'textBox53' property 'VisibleExpr'  Any ideas? I’m sure it’s probably something simple that I’m missing. 

After the upgrade to Acumatica ERP 2023 R1, I cannot open or print a custom Check Form with Remittance (AP641000) form due to the “The report cannot be opened because it includes a table (ROUTINGNBR) or a field (AccountID) that does not exist” error message as shown in the following screenshot. 

I have an external  mobile application which I I’m intergating with acumatica. I  I’m using a look up field where a user has to select from and can also input keywords to get the desired customer.Below is the endpoint Im using;https://XXX.acumatica.com/entity/Default/20.200.001/CustomerNumber of customer in acumatica: 30,000However it is taking around 15 min to get the customers and be diplayed on the selector for the end user to choose or in getting the desired result if the user is using a keyword.How can I improve the speed of fetching to be in seconds and not this many minutes. 

In other systems we have setup a Tiered PTO schedule for time off. Which is directly run off of your hire date. Example:0-4 years gets a total of 2.7692 Accrued Hrs per week (per pay period)5-9 years gets a total of 3.5385 Accrued Hrs per week (per pay period)10+ years gets a total of 4.3077 Accrued Hrs per week (per pay period)So when Payroll is run it validates the years from your hire date - and then gives you the correct accrued vacation time per pay period. I cannot seem to find a way to set this up in Acumatica Payroll. Is this doable? Or does anybody know of a good way to set this up in any way shape or fashion to get this accomplished - preferably not just having the PR person verify employees tiers and manually update them as they cross into another tier. Thank you!

I have a slight performance issue on the Generic Inquiry I am running. The inquiry is looking at expediate/priority jobs for my organization but the way I am doing it, it seems to cause a performance issue for on the database. At this time it’s nothing major but I would like to improve it so as the organization grows it doesn’t become a larger burden.  Attached is the XML of the Generic Inquiry, any advice would be helpful!

I have added the header Notes to the body of our Project Invoices and that works fine.  However when the doc type is Credit Memo, the Notes get duplicated in the body of the printed form.  How do I fix this?

I am trying to create several planning BOMs using the current visual BOM for our products that we manufacture.  When generating the visual BOM there are several sub-assemblies that do not have their parts listed underneath them.  When I check their BOMs everything is active in them and nothing is on hold. In the below example the assembly RPH1-01000-03 should have an exploded view with all the parts associated with it underneath it. 

Hello, I have a released AR invoice that had the incorrect date entered. I have tried to correct the invoice date, which moved from July into June period, and when trying to release the corrected invoice I get an error;“Inserting 'Applications' record raised at least one error. Please review the errors. Unable to apply the document because the application period precedes the financial period of the document.”So it appears it is due to crossing to a prior period. How can I correct this AR invoice and get it in the correct financial period? 

 On the Print Invoices and Memos screen in Acumatica, is there a way to create individual PDFs for each invoice during bulk printing?

so, basically I have 2 different pages, both with a (vip checkbox) data field. one page is a customerClass and the second page is a customer page. the customer page is kind of an instance of the customerclass so when a record for customer is created, certain fields are already populated with information from the customer class. the vip checkbox is a custom field that i created and i want to know how i can link them so when the checkbox on customerclass is ticked, the customer records created take that value and tick its own vip checkbox. im new to acumatica so please explain in detail if you canthis is customer class,see the vip box on the right? if i tick that, when i generate a customer record, its vip box should already be tickedthis is the customer page. when i create a new record, the vip box should already be ticked if the customerclass vip box is ticked
