I would appreciate any ideas on keeping records on consumables for our manufacturing plant.  Should we record the items as normal inventory items but in a seperate warehouse? 

Hi All,Purpose: the button UPDATE IN on Shipment SO302000 is only displayed or enabled when the Shipment Type = Transfer or Customer Order Nbr = EQ.I have created a condition. And Add that condition into Action UPDATE INI tried it with the option Hidden and Disabled but both options do not work.With the above condition, I have seen the button UPDATE IN for all Shipment Types (Shipment and Transfer)Do you have some idea for this?

As per previous questions I have a query about finding the average unit cost of an item per branch.We have 3 branches in the tenant with 2 currencies.  Within the main branch we have 6 warehouses all one currency.  I am trying to present a GI report / Inquiry that gives the user a view of all stock available to sell across the branch per warehouse with one average cost for the branch.  The INItemCost object does not allow for a siteid but does have a CuryId.I am using the following objects:INItemCost, INItemStats,INLocation,INLocationStatus,INSite,INSiteStatus,InventoryItem. Is there perhaps another costing object that I can use? Thanks

Should user-defined fields be created using a customization project or just adding them directly into Acumatica is fine? I have not setup a customization project before but I have heard that creating customizations within a customization project is recommended since you can apply and unapply with the upgrades. I am trying to consider if there will be any issues with upgrading and user-defined fields.

Group,I started this on a tread that was marked completed, so afraid that it won’t be seen.  That original post had some great information, but I need a bit more. The report that I am working on is GL633500 from out of the box (I believe).I duplicated a section to create a new highlighted area, but it didn’t move it directly under the original section.  How can I move it so that the new one is right below the original section? The red line row is the original section, the blue is the duplicate section. The visible expression I attempted to use to highlight every other section, but it didn’t work.  So that is one area I could use some help with. What options do we have when setting up users to be able to add/view projects? We know we can apply the system admin role to users for this (which I’m not very keen on). Is there a different approach or various different approaches?

Retainage feature applies only to AR Invoices which is fine but what about the SO Invoices? Is there any way to calculate the retainage rate to Invoices coming from Sales Order module?Your comments would be appreciated.

Hi,I am trying to add a new custom checkbox field as a grid column in the Process Shipments screen called UsrRequiresInvoices, and this custom field resides in the BAccountExt DAC. I imagine I would need to create a custom DataView that pulls in this field, but I wasn’t sure if I needed to structure it in a certain way to ensure the Process Shipments screen still functions as expected. The image below shows how the custom field is currently sitting in the Customers screen. The reason for this field is to identify customers that only want the final shipment invoice to be sent to them without receiving a Shipment Confirmation beforehand. If it is possible to add this custom field as a column via a custom DataView, what would be the best way to structure it? Let me know if I can provide any further information on this. Kind regards,Andrew

The client needs to have COGS account on a warranty sales order default to a different account.  However, entering a reason code on the sales order line does not change the account/sub on the line. 

I have two branches with different financial periods one ends Dec 31 and the other ends March 31.  Can I still do intercompany transactions?  It appears to put the transaction in the period used on the GL journal transaction from the branch it is created on.  So if I create the transaction from the December branch in December the period it uses is 12-2023.  But 12-2023 is March 31, 2023 in the fiscal year company.

Group,I have an inquiry that I’m working on and struggling with the formula.  I either get the “divide by zero error encountered” message, or syntax error.   I need to take this formula already set in the inquiry, (this gives us our Average Inventory) =([INItemCostHist.FinBegCost]+[INItemCostHist.FinYtdCost])/2 and divide it by: (This gives us the Sales COGS)=([INItemCostHist.FinPtdQtySales] + [INItemCostHist.TranPtdQtyAMAssemblyOut]) * [INItemCost.AvgCost] This final number that I am attempting to find is the inventory Turns for my Supply Chain manager. He can achieve this in excel, but I wanted to try and give this to him in the report. I have tried many different ways to write it and sometimes it says it validates, other tries it doesn’t.  I did find another post on in the community that talked about the divide by zero error and tried different ways of writing the code similar to that result but haven’t gotten it to work.Does Acumatica allow this type of formula in a GI?Thank you fo

Hi,I’m wanting to extend SOInvoiceFilter on Process Invoice and Memos (SO505000) to enable filtering on Customer Class.  Have made a start and think I’m mainly on the right track but have a problem I can’t quite crack.  Think the answer to this should be relatively simple.So far, I have extended SOInvoiceFilter  as shown below to add a selector for Customer Class: Have added the new Customer Class selector to the Form with Commit Changes = TrueHave extended the graph: The above is all the changes I have made so far.  What is happening is on changing any of the fields in the filter, I get: I think that the issue must be that BQL in the graph extension is not correct, but I can’t spot the issue.Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Also, I’m not 100% sure on what other steps will be required to get the extended filter to work on the grid so any pointers on that would also be helpful. My thinking was I would need to override GetInvoices() so that it returns records based on the SOInvoic

  We have tried integrating shopify to Acumatica before (importing stocks, customer, and sales order). However, we stopped for some issues encountered concerning the POS. Just recently, when we back to check it again, it prompted an error about the endpoint. We resolved it by creating another endpoint and another commerce store in Acumatica with the newly created endpoint. The setup from the first store we had was the same as the new one. However, when I tried to import a customer, there was an error that said: Sequence contains no matching element. Has anyone else experienced this?Trace Log:

Hello,A client recently created a GI and the system almost came to a standstill.  When the process was stopped the performance was back to normal.I seem to think that there was a post about things to avoid when designing a GI so that it does not drain too much of the CPU but cant find it. Can anyone help? ThanksJames
