Hi Community.  I am writing an Excel VBA macro to chug through invoices and price books to update vendor costs and retail prices for stock items in Acumatica via the REST API.  If it finds an item on an invoice that is not currently in Acumatica, it can create it.  It sets the vendor costs and retail prices by calling VendorPricesInquiry and SalesPricesInquiry respectively (a sample of the former is given below).  All is working fine.  If the item already exists and I want to update the vendor cost, say, from an existing vendor, I kind of run into a problem, since that item already has a vendor cost for that vendor.  I have found a workaround by deleting the old cost and inserting a new cost.  Not pretty, but it works.  How exactly would I just do an update?  Also, I’m pretty new to REST API, so I haven’t been able to get a date to work (every time I try to include a date, my query fails).  I want to set the EffectiveDate to a specific date, when I update an item.  How do I do that?  I

Is anyone aware of how to override the default replenishment settings on an import scenario for stock items? 

Have formatted the excel import file date field to not display the time.  When imported into Acumatica, it brings a time stamp.  Just need the date, not the time.  Have attempted setting the field on import scenario to “=TEXT([column name], “dd-mm,yyyy)”This does not work.Any suggestions? 

I am still learning what Time & Expense actually does.  One question comes up.  If I have a time card where part of the time entries are in, (for example), the month of November and the others are in the month of December, (or even if part of the time entries are in Fiscal Year 2023 and the others are in Fiscal Year 2024), how does Acumatica process those split entries when we want to close our Financial periods at the end of every month and the end of every year?Thank you,

I discovered that there is a difference in behavior for import scenarios triggered by a Business Event and by the front end using the "Import By Scenario" Screen. I have an import scenario that works if I use the "Import By Scenario" screen but when applying the same Import Scenario to a "Business Event" as the data source (still pointing to the same Generic Inquiry) and triggering by schedule the behavior is different. Are there known differences between these trigger methods and what designs could cause breaking issues when used with an Business Event?

I have an approval map for PO order total between 5K ad 50K for PO lines having “X” project code.But if there are multiple lines having different project codes, how can I just pick up my lines with “X” project code and add up Ext Cost Amount , if the total of these lines over 5000 then it’ll send it to approver, but if this total is less than 5k no need to go to approver.  

How can we assist our clients in getting the vendor 1099s updated to include amounts from their previous system prior to their migration to Acumatica?Keep in mind most of our clients will not have access to their old systems, nor will they be able to run the 1099s for 2023 year-end.  

Hello Community,We have configured the Approval Maps for the Bills and Adjustments screen and it is working fine. However, the Approver is currently able to see other documents as well. How can we configure it so that the Approver only sees the documents that require their approval? Any help highly appreciated!!

This is for End-Plus Billing, we would like to rename the the price discription for this customer. But we can’t seem to change description in Sales Pricing list.Any way to go about it besides creating a new inventory ID code? 

 Is anyone aware of the root cause for the following error message? 'Sales Account' cannot be empty. 'Sales Sub.' cannot be empty. 'Inventory Account' cannot be empty. 'Inventory Sub.' cannot be empty. 'COGS Account' cannot be empty. 'COGS Sub.' cannot be empty. 'PO Accrual Account' cannot be empty. 'PO Accrual Sub.' cannot be empty.  

I am not able to add the default actions to the new grid I have added not sure what is the issue here.I need to add Add, Refresh and Delete actions in this grid. Please see the ASPX code for the reference  

Hi, I created a GL account "999991" in the Parent tenant and attempted to map it to the Consolidation tenant. However, I was unable to locate the corresponding GL account in the Consolidation tenant for mapping purposes.Upon further investigation, I discovered that the Account ID (highlighted in yellow) value differs between the two tenants. Could this discrepancy be the cause of the mapping issue? If so, how can we synchronize the Account ID values to enable mapping between the tenants?  

Hello all, We work on Import Bank Transaction in 2022 R2, and we try to set up Relevance Calculation in the best manner. As I understand there’s two ways to set up Relevance 1. Cash management preferences 2. Match settings. Help section mention that the Cash Management preferences is the one who get priority if there’s no set up for a particular cash account. As you can see below, we’ve tried to put much off the weight on the amount, but the system doesn’t seem to take it into consideration and we can’t adjust directly in the match settings. How can we have 0 as a relevance if it takes amount in consideration?Is there any way to force him to take it into account? Thanks!

I cannot input primary contact in customer. when I type contact and tab to other field, it’s nothing save

Before knowing that Template/Matrix Items existed, and how they worked, a number of sets of various related Stock Items were created individually (most with associated BOMs).  For simplification of maintenance and development moving forward, I would like to convert these existing related Stock Items to Matrix Items.  Is there a prescribed methodology for doing so?

This is a question for partners and users of Acumatica Field Service. Currently, when an appointment that contains canceled lines is cloned, the created appointment (the clone) gets all lines copied except for the canceled lines.As users, is this the result you would logically expect? If not, what would you expect and why?

Hi I created our third subaccount segment, it’s a product subaccount ideally linked to inventory item.When I create a sales order and sales invoice, I see all 3 subaccounts generated Channel-Customer-product. However, even though the item is invoiced, no issue was created. Usually this is an automatic process but I had to manually look up that issue and when I click release, it has an error, saying Product of subaccount does not exist.I’m not sure where Acumatica pull the subaccount from.Here is the screenshot of the customer and inventory ID subaccount:
