I have added a new field to the Stock Item called Test and added it to the Fast Filter on the Sales Order Inventory lookup.It work on the Inventory lookup on the Sales Order on the Browser screen but on the mobile app when i search the inventory it does not find it based on the this field

We have a number of user-defined fields on our Cases screen that also reside on our Business Accounts screen. When a new case is created, we want those Case UDF’s to default to the UDF value set on the Business Account.What’s the best way to accomplish this? Code? Workflow customization? Business Event?

Hello Everyone, We are currently looking for a solution/rule/ condition that will allows us to have the invoices created from a project overwrite the default customer payment method to one our choosing.  For example, CUSTOMER RECORD will have DEFAULT PAYMENT METHOD of either ACUPAYCC or ACUPAYACHWhen we create the invoice from Project A, we will need the BANKTRANSF payment method to be automatically assigned on the PROJECT invoices.Does anyone have any ideas how we can accomplish this requirement?  Thank you in advance!

I have a service that is creating Acumatica SO’s via REST calls, and now I need to also create Payments to apply to each SO as it comes in. Is it possible to create an SO with a payment in one PUT request for the sake of simplicity and rate limiting issues? I added an unbound custom field to the Orders grid on the Process Shipments screen.I want to set a value in the custom field by overriding the Orders view.  I used the post from Sergey on how to do this (https://asiablog.acumatica.com/2016/06/using-pxview-in-dataview-delegate.html).In debug I am seeing that the result set has records.  When the foreach fires, I get an exception. Hi Guys,Hope you are all having a great day!!!I have been using a GI to calculate our weekly labour costs.I have encountered an issue where if a BOM Cost is calculated, from the BOM, a fair few BOM costs disappear from my GI and i have to roll the costs, we have near 60000 InventoryIDs, and this is quite a lengthy process.My GI is attached and our VARs are unfortunately unable to see anything wrong.Am I using the wrong table? Should I use BOMCostHistory rather than BOMCost?Any help is greatly apreciated,Thanks,Aleks!

Hi Team,We are thinking of to utilize the “Ext Ref Nbr:” in the Screen Id:AR303000 to store the old customer id, however unable to meet a requirement of to be able to lookup for a customer using the old customer id as an option. Hello!,  We need to get an advance payment from the customer for the items that are not covered by the service contract. But when I select the service contract on the service order it disappeared the prepayments tab. I tried to connect the service order on the payments and application form but we cannot create a prepayment and connect service orders only a prepayment can be connected if coming from the service order. Is there any way I can collect prepayments for the service orders connected to a service contract?Amanda 

For those using the construction module, how do you limit the use of cost codes from non-construction related GL codes.All of our construction related activity flows through our Cost of Construction account and our Property under Development account.  But recently we’ve noticed that our Project Management reports do not reconcile to our Property under development account.  As we researched we discovered entries recorded to non-construction related gl codes that had cost code info entered.  It feels like there should be preventive controls in place to stop a user from hitting “rent” and cost code info (for example).Clearly something was overlooked in our implementation and I’m not sure where to start looking.Thanks in advance.

How can I import data from SQL using an import scenario with an Order By clause?  Or what work arounds have you come up with? Most situations I’ve just made sure the data is in SQL in the order I want it, but sometimes that’s a challenge with complex views.The issue is it creates conflicts where there are many detailed rows but the data is not in order.  Setting Save to Each row or Batch size to 1 doesn’t help either.  The help documentation specifically says Order By cannot be used in the command fiels, so I’m guessing this is a common issue.

We are using hand-held devices to do full physical inventory using the Automated Operation Scan and Count.  Sometimes, our Wi-Fi drops connection to the handheld for a moment.  We believe this is causing Acumatica to freeze. Acumatica can freeze for several minutes before it comes back online. Is there something we can do to help Acumatica to resolve the connection (without losing our data) when this happens?

Hi!I recognized a Vendor invoice in the Incoming Documents and the system didn't map the alternate ID at the first time, so I have to do it manually (select the field alternate id and select the correspoding number in the pdf), then, I saved the document. I did this process +25 times using the same format and the system didn't learn the mapping and every time I have to do the mapping manually.I also Rebuild the text index but it didn’t work.How many times the system has to recognize the same format of invoices to learn a manually mapping? p.s. I have a 2021 R2 version in SaaS.Thanks!

I have a customer that uses the CRM extensively to map their Leasing process. This means that they will send an email from inside the opportunitty to some other member of the team to have it logged. The issue we’re facing is that is hard to track these emails because it doesn’t have the entity information:I know that in Acumatica it’s properly linked to the opportunity, but as far as usability, it would be very helpful to have the OpportunityID attached to the end of the subject line or as part of the body without the user having to type it each time.Any thoughts?

We are implementing the Cross Sale, Up Sale, & Replacement feature in Acumatica.  We are on 2022 R2.  We have created many Cross Sale items in an items “Related Items”.  But we we add an item that has Cross Sell associated items, we do not see the special column and icons that tell the sales team a Cross Sales item is availabe (in the order GI) .  Do we need to enable a feature?  Could it be that 2022 R2 does not have the icons and I need to upgrade to a new version?  Any help is greatly appreciated. 

Hi teamIm creating PO through API in old tenenat i was creating only skeleton of PO with no line items and it still defaulting to on hold status but now when we changed the to new tenant the PO will default to “Closed” how can i change that here is the PO  Instaed of defaulting to Closed if i don’t have items mapped i want it to be defaulted to “Open” OR “On-Hold”       Thanks

Is there a way you can re order the lines on a Sales Order or Quote? I can see Line Nbr and Line Order columns, but they are not editable. Ideally when we’ve finished constructing a Sales Order/Quote, we’d like to sort the quote by Inventory ID (ascending) and then reorder the lines so they appear in the desired order.

When migrating from a legacy system into Acumatica, it is often important to import into a searchable field the previous customerId.Does Acumatica support this?If yes, what is the field called? Where displayed? Thank you

If so, what credit card readers are you using at the POS counters?We had ordered Ingenico Lane 3000 devices and they connect fine to eBiz, but after talking to eBiz support, they are not supported for the Acumatica POS (aka Heuristic).  Support told us they only support 1Retail.  Credit Card capture (aka EMV) seems like it should be easily cross-functional, but apparently not.  Can anyone recommend a EMV device that works well with Acumatica POS?

Hello all,I have been working on Budget Details GI and I am looking to add the ref numbers of the PM transactions, only the ones that either have the status as On-Hold or Balanced. I am able to display the correct figures, but the ref numbers are getting duplicated even for the Project Tasks for which no PM transaction has been created. How can I resolve this?  Also attaching the XML file for same.Kindly let me know how to resolve this.Thanks in advance.

Community,I created a new GI from the INPIDetail table.  In my GI, I am attempting to create a date parameter that is required.  I have it set up, but when I run the report, no matter the date entered, it will not return any results.  Looking for some pointers.Parameters tab in the GIConditions tab in the GIReport results.The goal is to have the user be required to enter the date and return results from that date of the cycle count.  Most generally they will use this report the day they do their cycle count. Thank you,Trisha 

The stock AP Aging report uses APTranPostGL as the source of the amount shown that has aged. However, it appears that whenever a bill has been reclassified, the reclassification entry does not get posted (or projected) to the APTranPostGL DAC. It’s as if the transaction never occurs, according to the Aging Report.

I am trying to bring in 2 different qty avail fields in this GI. I have a finished good (kit) sku on the left, and the related kit components on the right. The qty avail is pulling from the InSiteStatus table, but it is only pulling the kit sku levels in. Based on the pictures below, how would I display the kit components qty avail?
