I would like the standard status popup to show while a long running operation is executing. How do I go about this?I thought placing the operation inside PXLongOperation.StartOperation(Base, delegate {...}); would do the trick but nothing changes. Thanks
When trying to copy a project template, we are getting “Any unsaved changes will be discarded.” when trying to save the template and by doing so, the entire template is wiped out. We used to be able to copy project templates, but it is not working now. We are on 21R2.Any ideas what would have happened that is blocking that functionality?
We are setting up our construction program to track labor hours on the jobs. We are going to be using a labor cost rate to accrue the cost of the payroll. We run payroll bi-weekly using a third-party to process. We will export the hours along with the job info to a spreadsheet to upload to our third-party. They will run the payroll and send us a GL download of the actual costs on a per job basis that we will import in to Acumatica to get the actual labor costs to the projects. If we set it up to accrue to the labor cost on the job and have an offsetting liability account how to we reverse the accrual when we import the actual labor costs from the third-party or account for the difference in the accrual vs actual?TYIA!
We are struggling when setting up rate tables for our clients Construction heavy equipment. The rate code has no data behind it, and we are unsure how we are able to get the data into system. (See attached image)
Hi,For the given project template, the project template screen revenue and cost tabs show $0, the project budget screen has 0 records, but a the PMBudget table has 21 records. The GI we built to analyze project budgets is including the project template due to these 21 records, so does anyone know how to get rid of these records?Thank you,Dave Z
I’m trying to give a link in a GI whereby I could put in dynamic fields to automatically populate the initial fields of the Activity based on the line in the GI. For Example, if the GI Line references Task 001 of a Project, then I would have a hyperlink to create a new activity and when the activity window pops up, it would already have Task 001 from the Project populated. Then I’d like to do the same thing with Task Owner, Cost Code, Project, Activity Type, etc.
Hi, Community! We just had a crash that may be related to access of FB.85.31.18, but we cannot locate the user so trying to figure out what they may have been doing. We are not seeing references in our sitemap to screens starting with FB, so would like to know at least what module’s screens start with FB.Thank you,Dave Z
We have a client who wants the “Period to” field on the Pro Forma invoice to reflect the end of the billing month, even when the invoice date is mid-month.I’ve tried every formula and table I can think of, but haven’t found a permanent work-around. For now, I’m using the month (e.g. If month = 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, or 12 then 31), which will work until leap year in February 2024.Has anyone else found a formula combination that shows the month-end date?
Hi All-- I have been searching for various process methods to accrue costs on a project until we’re ready to invoice and so far I’ve found (1) best outcome and another (2) that semi-works but realizing day by day, it’s not going to work. (1)This method will have users create a Project with Inventory Tracking = ‘Track by Project Quantity and Cost’ Then create PO using STOCK items, this is a must, where Type = ‘Normal’Then create PO Receipt, this will DEBIT INV and CREDIT ACCRUE PURCHThen create AP Bill, this will DEBIT ACCRUE PURCH and CREDIT APThen create Issue, where Cost Layer = ‘Project’, this will DEBIT COGS and CREDIT INV (Sweet spot)Then create AR Invoice, where DEBIT AR and CREDIT SALES (2)This method will have users create a Project with Inventory Tracking = ‘Tracking by Project Quantity’ or ‘Track by Location’ .. meaning ‘Track by Project Quantity and Cost’ will cause an error Then create PO using NON-STOCK items where Type = ‘Normal’Then create PO Receipt, this will DEBIT INV
I attempted to enter a negative A/P billing but got an error. Then I tried entering a Debit Adjustment but it disables the retainage field.
Can someone explain the purpose and use of the non-stock inventory items in Acumatica? Our organization owns a diverse quantity of equipment (heavy machinery, testing, mechanical) that we use on projects and need to be able to charge each job for the use of this equipment for AR invoicing purposes. We are trying to process these pieces of equipment to projects for AR Invoicing using the Equipment Time Card in Acumatica. We are being told that they only way to accomplish this is by listing these equipment items as non-stock inventory in Acumatica. Is this correct, or how should we go about this?
Hi everyone,When our employee makes a prepayment for a project, how do I record this transaction into project for tracking?I don’t know why it’s not appear in project transaction.
Do you use the Project Quote in Acumatica or you use a ISV? Do you like it?Thanks
Just experienced that we are no longer able to run our over/under project transactions against closed tasks. All business units are needing to re-open tasks to get through the August close whereas this has not been required in the past and we cannot see where this is controlled or determine causality. We are helping where asked to mass activate tasks, but that’s not a long term solution. We are self-hosted on 2021R2 with no recent software updates and no known related configuration changes.Any ideas including whether you are able to project transaction against closed tasks would be great!
Client is using 2021R1 and Projects allows an Inactive Customer Location to be selected in Project Quotes and Allows the Quote to be converted to a Project. Is this an oversight or is this working as designed? Does the Construction Edition operate in the same way?
We have specified a default task at the Construction > Project level so that individuals entering time don’t have to bother with a task. However this delegates to everything. Our accounts payable team has to manually tab back after selecting the project and change the task in modules such as Bills and Adjustments.I know there is coding that tells it to look for default task selection and insert if yes but don’t have experience with modifying to that degree.

We were just told by Procore that we must upgrade our Procore customization in Acumatica or the integration will fail on Monday.Would like to know if anyone else has taken this upgrade especially if they switched from Acumatica’s to Procore’s customization to synchronize between Acumatica and Procore. Our instance is self-hosted in Azure and self-maintained. The instance is comprised of Acumatica 2021 R2 Build 21.212.0039 with customizations only for ProcoreBuiltCustomizationPackage2021R2V3 and VelixoConnectedAppConfig (v6).
We would like to see the ability to report prior period WIP reports that include open commitments and change orders by period. Another way of saying this is period sensitive reports for POs and COs.
Dear All,Our business case is we will deliver material to the site and after finishing the installation, we will calculate the actual quantity of material to issue an invoice to the customer. The actual material quantity is less than the budget quantity.Current process:Set up a warehouse called Pending Sale and use order type TR on Sales Orders, transfer material to Pending Sale warehouse with a specific location linked to a specific project. (Each project has 1 location in Pending Sale warehouse) after finishing the installation, use order type SO on Sales Orders with actual quantity to issue an invoice.Issue: On Project PM301000, we can't track how many materials we already delivered to the site (TR or SO historical transaction).Question: do we have any function on Project that allows us to create a delivery transaction and it can be shown on Project PM301000 tooThanks in advance,Yên Chi
Hello,In creating a SO for a project, I have found that when Project-Specific Inventory is enabled that only inventory assigned to the project is available for issue. What I am seeing in the SO screen is that the availability is X for the item and then as soon as I select the project the availability goes to zero. Most of my inventory is not project specific, so I would assume that it would be available to any project, however this is not the case. Can this be adjusted with a setting, allowing reserved/assigned inventory to only be sold to the appropriate project while unassigned/unreserved inventory also be available. From what I can tell its seems this feature may be all or nothing, all inventory is tracked/assigned or non, I am looking for both. Example of no project with inventory available Example after a project is selected
Hi, Once we close and open the project balances. This Raw material values is not showing in project Level. There are Few questions. (01). What are the double entries, when Raw material(Stock Items) transfer to Project site?(02). Why Those work order Stock Items(Raw Material) transfer to Project?
Is there a way in Purchase Order or on AP bills to default the GL account by selecting the project and project task?
