Each item class has attributes and I would like to set it so that when I add a new item and select a specific item class, the attributes have default values ​​automatically. I'm mainly concerned about the checkbox, one of the attributes has a type Checkbox and when I add a new item of a certain item class, the checkbox is by default without a checkmark in it. But I want it to be checked by default. Can someone tell me how to achieve this?

I can see that acumatica has a help article that lists the predefined roles , but I would like to know how to identify whether a specific role is ‘predefined’ or ‘custom’ , through a screen in acumatica .

Hi there. We have set up a customer portal for our customers. The date formatting on the visuals for the customer need to be changed. As the portal administrator, the date formatting is correct, but changes when I login as the customer. Where can I make these changes to the format for the customer?  

Is this an out-of-the-box feature, or an add-on of some sort?

We would like to export data, such as vendors or customers, to excel the exact same way we imported the records - ie. using the same data provider. Is there an easy way to flip our import scenarios to be export scenarios without rebuilding them all?Is there anything I am missing here that might make this process easier? Thank you!!

Has anyone figured out how to add the PO Order Number(s) to the PO Receipt inquiry? Looking at the the inquiry editor, it looks like a table and relationship needs to be added.Since you can have multiple PO Orders per Purchase Receipt, I believe this would be a one to many relationship.It would be very helpful to be able to see the PO Order Numbers in the inquiry instead of going into the Purchase Receipt. Alternatively, it would be helpful to add Purchase Receipt reference numbers to the Purchase Orders inquiry.

How do I Automate GL Sub-accounts in Deferred Revenue based on Customer State

Our customer hires a truck to make deliveries in CA.  The issue is that each delivery can have different tax consequences.  For example they will get charged a fee for the delivery and then get taxed at the Ontario rate, then their next delivery is is made in Manitoba and they invoice will have the fee and then a separate line for Manitoba taxes. I feel like Incoming Document recognition is going to have issues and I am not sure the best way to handle the change in taxes for each line of the invoice.  Has anyone had this issue and found a good solution? 

Has anyone successfully added an existing screen not normally in the mobile application using the new Mobile Workspaces Screen? Prior to go-live we had added the SOShipment screen SO.30.20.00 to the app to allow the shipping team to upload photos of outbound pallets to the shipment. This worked beautifully until the upgrade but the screen is now not showing in the drop down to add to the list of items on the WAREHOUSEMANAGEMENT workspace. I can’t find anything in the help about what to do if the screen does not show in this list.There is no error in publishing the page via the customization package.Any help/advice on what to try next is greatly appreciated

Is there a way to prevent SO lines with identical inventory IDs from being combined when creating a PO from them?

In the move from 23R1 to 23R2, it switched from mapping the Cross Reference Alternate Type of Barcode to Alternate Type of GTIN/EAN/UPC/ISBN. See below in the respective documentation for each version: 2023R1 documentation 2023R2 documentation We spent the last few weeks with our VAR testing this “bug” in our 23R2 sandbox and finally figured out that it was actually changed. When we launched on Acumatica in October, we came up with the procedure to add additional barcodes from our vendors into the cross reference as GTIN/UPC/ISBN so we can reference it when we receive the product. But, Shopify only take ONE barcode. So, we’ve built all of our inventory management/labeling procedures around the fact that it would be taking the Alternate Type of Barcode. Now that that’s flipped, we’d need to throw those procedures out the window, do some massive Import Scenario updates to the ~3 cross references on our 80,000 items and retrain our organization.  Can someone let me know WHY this change wa

Our company has acquired a new division that we are trying to bring into Acumatica. Their main issue is that they currently write checks without amounts to purchase local goods at various locations. For example, they might go to Sams or Costco to buy supplies but they won't know the exact amount of the purchase until they are at the warehouse and have everything in their cart. At the end of the day, they send back the receipts with the check tab so we can enter it on their accounting system.Normally, we would issue a purchasing/expense card for these situations but for several reasons we can't in this case. Furthermore, the purchases are large so I can't ask the employee to pay and reimburse. Is there a way to handle this in Acumatica? Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Is there a simple way to attach documents from the Invoice to the email we send to the Customer?  Currently, this is a separate step, and I am looking for a simple automation for this. 

We went live in November 2023, with initial costing estimates.  As we have learned and had internal discussions, we are now wanting to adjust the costs and factors.Current BOMs are using Machines for allocation of Fixed Overhead.  We would like to switch this to using Overhead at the Work Center level as Variable based on Labor.How can I make this adjustment at the Work Center level(deactivate the Machine and enter the Variable Overhead--I also would like to adjust the Labor $ rate) and push this adjustment down through Planned Production Orders?

I am trying to use migration mode to import vendor prepayments that need to be applied to an open purchase order.  Migration mode does not allow application to a purchase order, and when I release the prepayment it closes the prepayment document.  How can I bring in prepayments made in a legacy system and apply them to purchase orders that will be billed out of Acumatica?
