Is there a setting or a preference that allows us to change the default scheduling method on new production orders?

We have 4 branches, each have employees. In many cases, an employee is branch 1 will help out and work on a project that is part of branch 2. When time is imported through employee time activities, that expense is posted to branch 1 (where the employee belongs), however it should hit branch 2 because that is where the expense incurred. How can I change the expense to hit the branch of the project?

We are in need of a scheduling software that we can integrate with Acumatica.  For some background, we are production builders so will be working off of pre-determined schedules for a full-home build.  We need to be able to show the variance of projected versus actual schedule, and ideally be able to alert our trades through this scheduling piece, and approve POs and EPOs from the field.  Any suggestions are welcomed! Thank you! Lauren

Am I crazy? Is there really no way to schedule an export scenario? Went through a setup getting the Generic Inquiry just right, a scheduled ftp upload scheduled and that’s my stopping point?This is for a product feed csv file upload to an ftp server.

As per the above screenshot, I want to update the above highlighted allocated field through import scenario.I have wrote the below import scenario but the scenario is not working. Please help me with this issue.

We are currently setting up work centers and are wondering if it is possible to have all lathes or mills as one work center. The issue is that for example, the lathes do not have all the same capabilities. One machine can do 30% of the parts while the other can do 100% of the parts. We want to utilized the scheduling feature and I think this will cause issues. Is it possible to assign machines within the work center to certain parts or do we need to make each lathe its own work center? 

Hello, At our company, many people need to access the details section of a sales order, as critical for doing our jobs. We have a generic inquiry which pulls data from multiple tables, which impacts performance quite significantly, by taking often 45 seconds or more to load the query. This may not sound like a lot, but when dozens of people run this query dozens of time each day, it creates a lot of friction.I suspect that there can be significant gains made to performance, with SQL best practices such as not scanning multiple tables, or other system level ways by using lazy loading, database caching, or using a  concurrent thread pool. Please direct me to a relevant thread or resource. I am trying to do a “no code” customization for the Owner field in the CRM Case Entry form.  I was able to make it a mandatory field easy enough, but I would also like it to default to the current user entering in the new case.   Is there a no code way to do this?

I have a customer who’s inquiring about increasing the Inventory Segmented key from 30 to 45 characters.I’ve asked for the reasoning behind this and will see if using Inventory Subitems might be a solution.But, I’d like to know if increasing the length can be done and if so, are there negative repercussions throughout the system (other then display issues due to length on reports and/or screens)?Thanks!

Hi Team,When I convert a Purchsce to a Fixed Assets the proces on GL generate 4 rows with diferents subaccountThe transactions in GL appear with a different Subaccount and two accrual account lines that are netted at 0, why does this appear?The correct thing would be that the subaccount to be set at the time of registering the purchase in AP Bill and not to pull the subaccount from somewhere else. Hello! When I’m setting up the Item class, I have mentioned inventory planning method as none. But now I want to add replenishment to the items hence given planning method of the item class as Inventory Replenishment. But this change does not replicate in the stock item hence I have to re-enter the item class to the stock item. By doing this my already given information to the item get changes, and also, we are changing item class defaults at the item level hence cannot update the item class.  Is there any way I can set up replenishment or take replenishment to the item level?Best Regards Amanda 

Hi,I need to write a JavaScript function to process an external request. For which I need to pass some values such as session, cookie, DB values, from server side into the JavaScript function.However, I am not sure how can I pass these values from the server side after processing into javascript function. I have added a PXTextEdit control <px:PXTextEdit ID="UsrSessionCookie" runat="server" Size="XL" DataField="UsrSessionCookie" Visible="False" />which I though I can use to read the values using below syntax into JavaScript but I am not able to get it if I make these PXTextEdit Visible="False".px_alls['UsrSessionCookie'].getValue();I have also tried below to get values but no luck-document.getElementById("ctl00_phF_form_UsrSessionCookie");Also, I have to make sure that server side code executes first which will get all required values and then process the JavaScript request.Any suggestions?Thank you

Hi everyone,I am going through the L100 Payroll module, and I’m processing a direct deposit payment batch.I’ve created the batch, exported a pre-note file and an export file, and confirmed the batch as paid.  I’m now trying to release it to the ledger.  I keep getting the following error:  I checked the payroll batch used for the payment, and the cost codes for all employees are empty:   So, two questions:The project I used to create the payroll batch has a cost code assigned of 00-000.  The documentation says that Acumatica will pull that information from the project data when it creates the payroll batch.  However, it didn’t do that.  Why? Why would the system perform this check so late in the process?  This is after I entered, approved, and released all the time activity, after I created and processed the payroll batch [this seems like the logical point to perform the check], and after I created, processed, and paid the payment batch.  This is very late in the process and could save

How can I enter G or GRAMM as a weight unit in the stock item screen? In the list I only see KG, although GRAMM is also created as a unit in the measurement units screen. When I manually enter G or GRAMM in the stock item screen and save, it just disappears.  

I believe I heard at the last Summit that Shopify is now able to offer multiple units of measure as an option.  If so, other than adding the unit of measure conversion on the Stock Items screen is there any other setup that would need to be done in Acumatica?Thanks

I am importing Change Request data from another system into Acumatica.This particular data was given a status of “Void” in the other system.I noticed that Acumatica supports a status of “Rejected”.
