Performing a timecard correction, because the labor Item was incorrect. The appointment show the corrected timecard number, but the labor item was not corrected in the appointment. It should be the corrected labor item per the timecard, reflected on the appointment to cost at a different labor rate.
Has anyone been successful importing appointment logs? Are you able to share your import scenario?

A Placement Contract Cover Sheet is a document used to track and manage information related to placement contracts. A placement contract typically refers to an agreement between a company and a staffing agency or recruitment firm for the provision of temporary or contract workers. What is the name of such documents in Acumatica ERP?
Perhaps this should be under “Idea” since I want to do something that I don’t think is possible at the moment. However, I thought I would ask first. Under service order type options, I can choose: “Take address and contact information from: 1. Business Account, 2. Contact, or 3. Branch Location. I would like the contact information (phone and email) to be pulled from the contact, but I want the service location address to be pulled from the business account. Is this possible? Here is why: In the case of multiple customer locations and multiple contacts, one contact may be linked to multiple locations and one location might be linked to multiple contacts. So, if I choose “Take address and contact information from Business Account”, it takes manual manipulation of the contact information on the specific customer location in order to get the correct information on the service order. If I choose “Take address and contact information from Contact”, it takes manual manipulation of the addr
Hello! Our company is new to Acumatica and we are still working through some growing pains as we adjust to the new system. Is there a way to edit/adjust time records after they have been released? We had some employees apply their time to a Construction Project instead of a Service Order and it was not brought to our attention until after the time was released. It has not been pulled through to Payroll yet.

Here is an overview of their SLA Needs: . Here is how they have to track SLA’s for one of their Clients: (the hours listed are examples and will change contract to contract, and equipment type to equipment type)Overview They have to call the client within 1 hour to acknowledge the Call They have to be on site within 8 hours They have to have the problem fixed within 16 hours All time starts when the call is Received Email notifications will need to go to customer at each step Nuances: By Customer / Equipment· Each Customer will have different equipment· Equipment can be categorized and have different SLA requirements - Preferably in the same contract· Example would be printers would have a 2 hour initial response, 12 hour on site, and 36 hour fix
Hi there,Would it be possible to use a link to the staff calendar from the appointment directly, so we would not have to switch back and forth. Also, how can we show that a staff member is absent and not available (PTO, training, sick) on the staff calendar?Thank you!Monika
I’m running into an issue now that I can’t make appoints because I must be an Employee to a current Screen. I doubled check the employee screen and everything looks good and same same when under user. I’m full admin too. whats the best way to take care of this? I went though every settings and can’t find where to correct this issue.
I have a GI with the results grid shown below. Everything works, except the GP% calculation. I started with trying to sum the cost and price on the service order details by service order number. I relate back to the service order to use the “OrderDate” as a filter against “fromdate” and “todate” parameters.I get the below result from the query. The difference calculation works. How can I calculate the “Difference/Ext.Price” as the %Profit in the last column? RegardsWayne
We are currently going through sandbox setup and scenarios for the Field Service Module and have run into a snag with second appointments on a service order and figured someone out there may have a solution!Marking an item for PO works exactly how we want it to, with the only caveat being if we have multiple POs to the same vendor the system likes to create a PO for each branch-location instead of grouping them all to one vendor. However, we have multiple warehouses so we don’t always need to mark items for a PO, our tech’s can get the part from the main warehouse transferred to their truck warehouse to finish the job on the second call. So, we need a way to trigger the “Needs Appointment” flag on the Service Order for the field techs, and a way to create the demand for the item(s) required for the second trip.Have any of you found solutions for this problem?
I am currently unable to run an invoice due to this error can anyone assist?
When opening a service order, the contacts area does not get populated (e.g., email). Is there a certain order items need to be completed on the service order so that everything populates? The contact info is in the system so there are emails and phone numbers for the contacts we are choosing.
We have a customer using the service package in Acumatica. They want to bring in service history to allow users to view what service has previously been performed for a customer or piece of equipment, even if the service happened prior to starting in Acumatica. What process would you recommend to add the service history in Acumatica?
Hello,I am tinkering with the route management demo data and trying to create inventory from picked up items. I have the setting on the service order type to post material to inventory, and I designated what I picked up in the service order. I have it where it is now popping up on the screen, however, when I go to process, nothing happens. Can someone please let me know if there is a setting that I am missing that is not described in the consultant documentation? See below for snip- one thing I noticed is that I get a red dot next to the row when I try to select it- not sure if that is causing issues with the batch updates. I am using 23.1 sales demo data and my period is open for 05-2023.
Our base currency is ZAR, and so our inventory costs are calculated in ZAR.When doing a service order for a foreign customer (USD), the costs are coming through incorrectly. As an example, this item has a cost of ZAR 106.3938. We are selling it for USD 9.59.The since the service order is in USD, Acumatica should be taking the ZAR cost and converting it into USD, to compare apples with apples for profitability :-) But it takes the nominal value of 106.3938 and uses that for the USD cost. Now when I use the toggle button to view the base currency (ZAR) a fictional cost is displayed (the actual cost multiplied by the currency rate):As a result the profitability is incorrect. How do I log this as a bug?
We have a few customers who have a situation where their techs will go on a supply run. During this process in their old systems, they have provided a blank PO to the supply house (basically just a number) and then they will be able to match it to the invoice that is later sent after the tech picks up his materials. My solution is to mark for PO on the mobile app (using a nonstock item) and generate the PO. This will allow them to have a PO number that they can provide to the supply house when checking out so they can later match that invoice when it is sent at a later time (most likely 1 business day). The tech will then go into that PO he generated and update the cost. The cost will then flow back to the appointment when the PO Receipt is released. However, since the tech is paid on completion, he will have to manually add up the amount to take the prepayment rather than the system calculating it. The point of using a PO with a nonstock here is to create a check to make sure that
Client needs the information typed by the mechanics to be spell checked before presented to the customer on an appointment.
Is there a way to create an Approval process on a specific inventory ID and quantity. For example if I were purchasing apples but wanted to approve anything over a quantity of 50 before my purchases could create a PO or make a transfer.
Hi, For specific appointment type, we will need to point a gps coordinates more than a regular adress. The service tech will need to be able to click " show on map" on the mobile app. Is it doable? Do you have any advice? Thanks
Hello Community,I could not able to open the Service Order, and getting the below error. Can you please help me with the below error?
Our customer is in catering and has many positions that are performed by multiple employees. Each position in the order is entered only once. To see which employees are available, we want to embed the calendarbaord in the Service Orders like this:I have the problem that I can't add the board via the SidePanels unfortunately:Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem? Thanks!
A default Labour item on an employee will default onto a Staff Line of an appointment. I don’t think it is used except when projects are involved? Work performed on appointments needs to be charged at labour rates which may be different per employee, but the labour rate does not affect the Unit price. Workaround is to have separate Detail Lines where the default unit price comes only from the non-stock item and hope you assign the right staff member to perform the work. I have a GI that can detect detail lines that appear to have the wrong rate and could update the unit price with a business event but just checking if I am missing something?
