Is there any way to force the User Customer’s Account box to be checked, by default, when the Ship Via selected is related to the Carrier where the customer has an account setup?

Shipped qty in Shipments

We have an order on our system that was created 23/02/24. It had 1 line item, with a qty of 1 required. Today (07/03/24) I added another line for the same item, with a qty of 1.When I then Create Shipment, the original item populates the Shipped Qty with 0, but the new item populates the Shipped Qty with 1.The behaviour we want is as per the original item - i.e. the Shipped Qty should remain 0 until we actually pick/ship the item.We’ve noticed that the Location shows <SPLIT> for the original item and FG000000 for the new item - not sure if this is related?Note: we have only edited the original order to demonstrate the different behavior, our new orders behave as the added line does, which is not what we want.We have tried editing various settings, but cannot get new orders to behave as we’d like.It seems as if when the original Sales Order was created there was item/setup data recorded that makes the Shipment behave in a certain way for the existing item.But when you add a new it

Expose File Name and potential other File Data in Generic Inquiry for Filtering and Dashboarding

Hi All, We are trying to expose File names and potential other Data to a GI.One usecase is Shipments that are being signed on Delivery through the native Mobile App.I don’t see a Flag indicating it was signed in the DAC Schemas but a signature file is attached.We would be able to utilize this for our Reporting and Analysis if we can expose the File Name. I tried joining PX.SM.UploadFileWithIDSelector and PX.SM.UploadFile via the NoteID field but just got blank results in the Inquiry for the file Data. Any ideas how this can be made happen?

Shipping Confirmation Emails — best practices?

Hey there, I have a clunky process that I’d love to get thoughts on how best to improve: Shipment confirmation emails for some of our order types.I’ve always been confused by Acumatica’s out-of-the-box “Email Shipment” Action on the Process Shipments screen. There are some major defects to it:When rows are processed, they don’t drop off the queue. So you cannot schedule this screen, at the risk that the same email could be sent more than once (which is a bad customer experience). Rows drop off this screen once the shipments get invoiced. So if they get invoiced prior to getting emailed, we’ve lost our window to email those out. Can the email template associated with this process action capture all the necessary fields that we want to include in our email? Tracking numbers, tracking URLs, etc. I honestly don’t know.So I guess Business Events come to the rescue...except:They are notoriously frustrating to get working properly. They may just choose not to work and you don’t know why, lol.

Change the Lot/Serial Class of an item to any other lot/serial class with different Tracking Method.

We are trying to change the Lot/Serial Class of an item to any other lot/serial class with different Tracking Method. If the prior class was Serialized with Lot/Serial class as "Default" and have tracking method as "Not Tracked" and Assignment Method as "When Received". However, If we try to change the lot/serial class of an item to any other lot/serial class We are getting an error as "Lot/serial class cannot be changed when its tracking method is not compatible with the previous class and the item is in use." We tried with zeroed out the quantity on hand for the item and ensured that there are no allocations for this stock item, but it won't work.How can we successfully change the Lot/Serial Class in this scenario? Ship warranty replacement before receiving return

When a customer makes a warranty claim, we replace the item for free. We want to ship the replacement out immediately and don’t want to wait to receive the defective product. I am using the RR (return with replacement) order type but am unable to Create Shipment without first running the Create Receipt process and confirming that the return shipment has been received. Am I not able to use the Return with Replacement order type to ship out a replacement product before receiving the defective product? If not, what is the best process for handling this scenario? Process:Create new RR order In the details section, use the Add Invoice button to select the invoice containing the item that needs replaced Click the Create Shipment button to send out the replacement itemThis results in the error “Order RR does not contain any items planned for shipment”.

I could identify individual sales orders that has attachment or notes , however I would like to see the list of sales order that has NOTES in it by filtering . Also I would like to see the sales orders that has attachements in it. I want to filter the sales order based on these conditions in the Sales Orders screen.

Intercompany Sales Price Not updating in the Sales Order

Hi Connections, I have a question about intercompany sales orders > Sales Pricing not updating as configured. I've provided the scenario below.Let's say inventory ST0034 I am creating a purchase order on behalf of SERVICE EAST Company. Vendor will be a WHOLESALE company. I set the vendor pricing as "RM 200" and the sales price as "RM 300". As I can see in the PO, the vendor price has been modified in accordance with the vendor pricing document. Then I convert that PO into a SO after noticing that the inventory price has not been updated as per the sales price in the sales order. Still, it appears to be merely the vendor purchase price. Since it was an intercompany transaction, we defined the price in sales pricing, Can anyone help me on this… Thanks in Advance. RegardsRam

Stock Item Import - Error: 'Purchase Unit' cannot be empty.

Attempting to overwrite assigned Inventory IDs to new Item Classes. The Item Classes show that the Purchase Unit for the SKU is set to EACH. When attempting the import scenario we continue to get the following error. Error: 'Purchase Unit' cannot be empty.Any suggestions on how to overwrite an item to a new Item Class and bypass this error. I have attempted to inject in the scenario Vendor > Purchase Unit > =’EACH’ and =EACH with no success.
