Are we able to set up a Create Shipment automation schedule that creates a shipment based on the sched shipment date/request date earlier than the actual shipment date? Ex.Sched Shipment Date/Request Date is June 20th.We want the shipment to be created on June 18th with a shipment date of June 20th. So when June 20th rolls around, we just have our warehousing team confirm the shipment on its way out. I’d expect this to be easy to set up but seems as though this processing screen only works on the day of shipment? I must be missing something here.
Is there an OOTB way to pass the customer po number to the shipping label - UPS or FEDEX? Feels like there should be a mapping somewhere but I feel like I am missing it.
I have the Invoices and Memos GI exposed to the mobile app. The summary screen is dreadful. I find it dreadful for pretty much any list view. Once you click the record, you can make the details look really nice with headers etc. Also, what defines the fields that show up in the list view of a GI that is exposed to the Mobile App? I can modify the fields in the Details view, but not the list view. This may be in the help, so I will look, but since I am bugging folks with the primary question, I thought maybe someone had a quick answer that might save me a bunch of publish-wait-repeat. :-)This is just not very helpful. Especially if I were to add a custom field SO Order Nbr to this list. You would not be able to tell which is the invoice number vs. Sales order number.I WANT LABELS! 😁
Sales Order had UOM of “EA”. This is correct.Shipment details line has UOM of “EA” This is correctWhen I add contents to the BOX on the shipment, the UOM in the contents screen changes to the Stock Items Base UOM. ***This is NOT correct**It converts the QTY correctly, but the UOM on the contents subscreen should not be different than the Sales Order UOM and the shipment’s UOM.
In our warehouse our lower shelves are Forward Pick locations and upper shelves are Reserve Stock. We keep a supply of all inventory in the Forward Pick locations but any overstock that won’t fit below will go to the Reserve Stock locations. Both location types have their respective inventory marked Include in Qty Available but only the Forward Pick locations are marked as Sales Allowed. This allows a sales order to be created regardless of inventory location but will prevent the Shipment/Picklist creation if doing so would direct a picker to a Reserve Stock location. This is where the pain point is introduced. We currently utilize the “Tasks” feature in Acumatica to direct our warehouse mobile users to transfer items from Reserve Stock to Forward Pick so that shipments containing affected items can be created.Ideally we would like a proper means of creating a Transfer Order which would direct a warehouse user to transfer the items between locations.I’m wondering if this is already an o
Hi Acumatica People, Can I create nonstock Kit with a stock item component that has a serialized lot which has a serial lot class that has an "when received” assignment method and a “User enterable" issue method? Details: I have a problem with a set of kits which needs to be fixed. A good example is kit, 1000-9117K, which is a non-stock item and one of the components has a serial lot number (lot serial class of SUPPFORKIT set-up as pictured below). It throws this error when trying to save: Warning 2025-09-03 17:47:31 UTC IN Error: Components with the 'When-Used' assignment method and 'User-Enterable' issue method are not allowed in non-stock kits Here is the lot serial class. The error is informing me that the components lot serial class needs to have an assignment method not of “When Used” and issue method of “User Enterable”. *******************question************************ Can I not use the lot serial class, “SUPPFORKIT” which has the assignment method
My client is looking for to send customers a prepay Invoice or a Proforma Invoice. Basically Enter an SO and generate an invoice, and once payment arrives they will process shipment and invoice. I set them up using credit terms with prepayment required and it works great. My question is if there is a way to do proforma invoices? I’m thinking I can create a second version of the sales order acknowledgement form and make it look like an invoice. Any other ideas?
In the mobile app, I can open a sales order and i can attach a file to a sales order. I have exposed the Shipment screen to mobile, I can open the shipment in the mobile app, but i can not attach a file in the mobile app. What needs to be done to allow a file attachment in the mobile app on a shipment record. The use case is the customers delivery driver is onsite delivering product and wants to open the mobile app, open the shipment and take a picture of the delivery and attach to the shipment. It appears the exposed SHipment screen is inquiry only.
Based on an older article and the lack of answers when people asked this question, I’m guessing the answer is “They are not”.When an invoice is created using an installment payment terms type, the invoice is initially created for the full amount, but immediately closed. Subsequent installment invoices are created right afterwards for the individual balances. If I use a “3 equal payments” terms type, the system creates INV001 for the original invoice, closes it, and then creates INV002, INV003, and INV004 for the installments.I see nothing in the system or in the DAC that gives me a link from INV002, 3, and 4 back to INV001. The usual “ARTran to SOLine” join logic doesn’t exist either. Outside of a description, these three installment invoices seem to be related to nothing else.
HI! I’m seeing this error on receive and put away. I’m not sure why it’s trying to add an extra line. The scanned quantity exceeds the quantity in the PO receipt for the item.Would you like to add a new line in the receipt for the 1 EACH quantity?
We are a traditional enterprise, and our picking operations still mainly rely on printed pick lists. Currently, we are considering introducing scanners. However, due to certain reasons, we do not want to switch our main picking method to being fully reliant on scanner operations. The method we hope to adopt is as follows: Print the pick list, which includes a barcode. When the picker starts picking, they scan this barcode to mark the beginning of the picking process. After the picker completes picking, they scan this barcode again to mark the end of the picking process. --- Actually, this is our core requirement: we want to record who picked which shipment and the duration of the picking process. 3.For actual data entry, we still rely on the current shipment screen, where basically all fields are pre-filled by default, keeping the operational method the same as it is now. With that said, does Acumatica natively support such a process?
Newbie question for 2024 R2 - Entering a line on the Details tab of SO, the profile default Branch populates as expected but user needs to change to a different Branch. The Financial tab Branch remains unchanged displaying the user profile default Branch.Where is the setup option to have SO Financial tab Branch follow the Details tab Branch dynamically?
Any ideas! Customer cannot generate an invoice from shipment. A Sales Order invoice can be generated manually and an AR Invoice can be generated manually. However, from the Shipment, the error ”‘Invoice Nbr’ cannot be empty” is returned. Below shows that the numbering sequence for invoices related to the sales order type is not manual. Thank you for any thoughts/solutions!
How do we send an automated email to our customers AP email address that includes the ship confirmation and the delivery image(s)?
Hi All,I know that the system will create demand based on historical data, but how far back will that go?If I have a client that has been using Acumatica for a year and they turn on replenishment now, do we turn on the moving average and update to 12 months and it will calculate the last year of transactions? Thanks!
Good day,Does anyone have a GI or a proposal on how to print multiple purchase orders at that same time. We have a project that requires print outs of the a certain type of purchase. Or does the user need to print them one at the time. Mass print does not work on the GI. Also, PO print/email process is not set up the same as the Sales orders.Any suggestions?
Hi AllIs there any feature or solution in Acumatica that allows for entry of an invoice amount before releasing it?Maybe similar to how control quantites work in the shipments screen? The cashier would enter the amount on the invoice as a required action before the invoice can be released. Also just a step futher, maybe enter the amount that the customer is paying with and calculate the change due as well? For example the invoice is $81 and the customer pays with $100, the cashier would enter the $100 and another field would automatically calculate the change due.I know the last inquiry is pushing it and we may need to go down the customization road for all of it. But if there is anything out there for the basics of the inquiry, it’ll be a start.ThanksAmit
How do you restrict the ability to prevent any discount from happening on a hand full of stock items when a sales order is done?
Can someone share with me a import scenerio screen shot to mass update item ID? Thanks in advance
Hello, Is there a way that we can skip some lines on a receipt document when applying landed cost (no cost markup)?
Does anyone know how we prevent the Company Entity from syncing in our Shopify B2B Connector? For some orders, we need Companies to exist in Shopify because Tax Exemption and Pricing Catalogs are assigned at the Company level in Shopify. But we don’t want Companies to sync in the connector.I have it turned off. But the Order sync is failing because the Company entity is inactive. If I activate the Company I’m getting a “CountryID cannot be empty” address error on the Company Entity — which doesn’t make much sense because the Company Location in Shopify has a complete address. Really confused on how to be successful here. It seems like Acumatica rolled out the Company entity without equipping customers or VARs on how to strategize for success. Thanks for any help.
How do we send an automated email to a workgroup? We want to notfy the workgroup members via email whenever a Task is created and assigned to the workgroup.
What Sales reporting tool integrates with Acumatica? We are unable to extract effective Sales data for our owner. We need a robust tool to capture the following and more: Sales By: Customer, Customer and $$$, Customer and Product, ytd, ytd vs. last year ptdProduct - units sold, $$$ sold, ytd, ytd vs. last year ptdThank you.
There needs to be a default warehouse that should be set by the user (or the device). While it is possible to have “warehouses inside warehouses”, in many use cases a worker will always be in the same warehouse. So the mobile app should assume that the user’s warehouse is that default warehouse, with the option to override (i.e. item lookup screen….it shoud default to the worker’s warehouse so this doesn’t have to be entered repeatedly.
I considered putting this into CRM, but it seems more general. We’re struggling keeping track of inbound emails from customers and vendors. Here’s the scenario:The system sends out an email to a customer, such as a statement or an invoice. We have configured the report to send from our “NoReply” address (the default for the admin admin account). The customer actually pays attention to the instructions and does not reply. Instead they forward the email back to our “Credit” address. Since they forwarded the email, it still has the tag in the subject line. Our Credit address is an inbound address for Acumatica that creates a case The system receives this email. If it were a new email, it would create a case for the Credit team. But since the sender forwarded the original email with the subject line tag, it is treating it as a response. It stores the response as an activity on the customer, and there seems to be no notification to anyone that this email exists. The system may noti
