Hi,

I would appreciate assistance with requirement below.

The system picks the vendor price based on sequence shown in the image below. if any pricing set are not available, the system picks the last cost. I’m looking for a way to avoid picking the vendor price automatically and ask to key in manually always.

Thanks,

Dulanjana

Right, you can’t update it there. But you can on the Vendor Prices screen.

Hi @dsenevirathne54 Believe you could solve this with a business event / import scenario to Vendor Prices screen. The import scenario could reset last cost to 0 each time it’s updated.

Hi @jhouser,

Thank you for your feedback, I see the last cost filed in the stock item is a view only field. Isn't it?

Thank you,

Dulanjana

Thank you,

The last cost is not available for changes on the vendor price, correct?

And I understand we can set a regular or promotional prices as zero which will keep the price to zero which I have already tried. But it needs to be done before any purchase is done. and it is complex activity because any item can be purchase from any vendor which makes huge number of combinations and unable to predefine and set a price.

It is editable, see below. If you want the price to default to 0 instead of using last price, a business event / import scenario would automate this.
