System Health and Performance

HI All,I’ve had 2 upgrades in the last week and the users have complained that their system is slow after the upgrade. I have told them to clear their cache for all users, but does anyone else have any tips??I looked to see if this was a known issue and could not find it.  Thank you!

Good day, we are doing a project to move data from QB.  The vendor uses snapshots has development as move forward in the process from one tenant to another.  The process has caused a major space issue.  Does anyone have any advice.  We have started to delete old snapshots; this frees up some space but it is ongoing issue.Thank you

Hello Everyone,I’m getting the following error while trying to login to acumatica mobile app.What could be causing this, have researched about it but couldn’t get a solution. Kindly assist.All responses will be appreciated! 

When I create a snapshot for the purpose of installing the snapshot in a sandbox or for an emergency back up, should I create an “XML” or a “Binary” snapshot? Which is the most appropriate or better? We are on 2022 R2 so soon moving to 2023 R2.

I feel Acumatica could use someone in charge of tuning the site for performance. One of the little discussed dark sides of constant feature innovation is that there can be a tendency for performance to suffer as a result.For example, I was surprised that there doesn’t seem to be any plan to try to rearchitect the middle tier in conjunction with the move to Aurelia. Acumatica still has a pretty “thick client” approach to its stack, even though it is moving to adopt modern tools like Aurelia. Back in the bad old days of early .NET (remember code behinds?), it wasn’t really an option to asynchronously load the front end. You had to have all your data objects ready for presentation when the front end loaded. With modern asynchronous javascript, this is no longer the case, and so I think it is a missed opportunity to spend all the time to reskin the front end without focusing on the performance advantages that could also be gained by rejiggering the middle tier of the software.Just as an ex

Hello, We are encountering an issue after a recent Acumatica upgrade, with the DeviceHub.Basically, the printer has been configured and was working prior to the upgrade (on version 2021R1), however after installing the latest DeviceHub version 2022R1, the log shows the following message. When I am trying to use the ‘UPDATE PRINTER LIST’ on the ‘Printers’ screen in Acumatica, the DeviceHub log is not registering the request being made from the Acumatica web app. Note: The printer is correctly installed and the machine which is being used to run DeviceHub does have access to it as well. Has anyone ever encountered this please? Thanks and Regards,Nigel Pace

Hello,We recently updated from 2021 R1 to 2022 R2 and have noticed a significant decrease in system performance, specifically in page load times, API document creation/updates/extraction, and certain processes (although some have improved, others have become slower).I would appreciate it if you could share your experiences with me.Has your organization encountered similar performance issues after updating to 2022 R2? Hi All,On Inventory Transaction Summary IN406000, The column Warehouse has been definedFrom my understanding of the definition, Column Warehouse will be invisible if Warehouse Details are clear. However, on my system, this column is still displayed with or without a check box This issue (display Warehouse when Warehouse Details is clear) is so nfusing. The system will display the random WH, even though there is no qty in that WH.For example:Clear box Warehouse DetailsCheck box Warehouse Details Has anyone got this issue? is it normal or a defect from the system?

Has anyone encountered this issue before, that Acumatica shutdown then restart itself.At least once per day.  

Is anyone else experiencing this issue after upgrading to 22 R1? I’ve been able to replicate in 22.105.0031 and 22.107.0022 in Chrome and Firefox. Is this a bug?

Is there a way to archive the old data in acumatica system ?because we have data from 2011 and we need to delete them because the system is getting slower

Good day,I set up a new email as an incoming email to process AP documents. Test the connection was successful. I have sent a number of emails as a test but they are not being received in ACM.  I have other emails receiving incoming that are working. (Set-up by someone else)Any suggestions where i can review, look or something that needs to be done to get emails received.Thank you.Evan

Has anyone experienced slower system operation/transaction speed when dealing with a large data set of > 500,000 SKUs (i.e., is there inverse relationship between operational speed and SKU quantity in a system)?Thanks.

HiI wanted to create approval map to enable approval of the purchase orders. I’ve done the creation and leave the condition tab blank since when I select the entity type as Purchase order the status does not appear on the field name  but on the rule action tab have specified the following;- but it does not work, is there another way to do it?

I'm curious if there is a way to offer this via PowerShell or otherwise. Essentially, if we were to need to shut down the application for whatever reason (upgrades, updates, etc) can we avoid having to cancel and re-adjust the times of automations that were missed during that time? The goal is to have the system come back online less stressed by a list of long running processes starting back up all at once. 

Where do I put my Acumatica into Maintenance Mode so I can get a clean, no error snapshot?

For most of our companies, we normally setup a test tenant. I noticed today when logging into one that the test tenant was not available. I looked and they recently had an update applied. I then looked at another customer, who I haven’t accessed in a while, and they also didn’t have a test tenant. These are our only 2 clients who have their acumatica automatically updated. The test tenant is not available in the dropdown nor is it available in the tenants window. I then went and looked at Space Usage. It shows both the live/active tenant and the test tenant, but beside the live tenant it has a checkmark for Current. It does not have that for the test tenant. Has anyone else experienced this? 

Sometime Acumatica performance start slow in one  or two client Computer. I check those Computers everything went well except Acumatica.
