I have a production order with 5 different OP IDs (0010 to 0050). In OP ID 0020, Part A is consumed. At OP ID 0040, it was discovered that Part A was not made correctly and it needs to be scrapped and replaced with a correct Part A. What’s the best way to go about solving this issue?

Hello! My operations team and I are currently restructuring our approach to our product inventory and are interested in utilizing the newest Template and Matrix item capabilities. We are trying to determine the best way to set up the templates - using "finished good", "component", or "sub-assembly". We are unclear if those 3 "types" are standard to Acumatica or if they were created (people who helped setup the system are no longer part of the effort so we have some open questions). Today the we have a a SKU that comes from the manufacturer with several items. The items can be sold by themselves or as part of the "system". Our challenge/concern is if we make all the individual SKUs a component then what constitutes a finished good? Should we make each of the items a finished good and then the kit would consist of say 2 finished good items?

For some reason when I expose the FS-ManufacturerModel GI to OData I cannot connect to it in excel.  This is the error I get: I was able to connect to the FS-Manufacturer GI without any issues.  We haven’t modified that GI so I’m not sure what could be causing the problem.  

Is it possible to add a new Actuals Ledger and configure the system such that postings are directed to the new Ledger only?We want to retain the original Actuals for archive purposes but essentially start with a clean book in the new Ledger.

hi, I’m not able to get the opportunities owner’s email. If I join the CROpportunities with Owner tables, i will get the error - Operand type clash: uniqueidentifier is incompatible with int.Attached it the XML of the GI. Hope someone could advise how I can obtain the owner’s email from the opportunities. Thanks

Hello,      We recently have a direct upgrade from 2020R2 to 2021R2.After the upgrade, the customization projects show:"version of the default workflow in the customization project is not equal to the current version in system" On 4 screens, PO, SO, shipment, invoice.However, if I can “UPGRADE PREDEFINED workflow” button, the system show error1 time is : “The given key was not present in the dictionary.”another time is “Object reference not set to an instance of an object.” How can I solve this, thank you.

I am looking to expand my profit and loss statement to include details for each of the expense accounts. I currently have my expenses grouped together and I am not sure how to show them all separately. For example, the salaries I have 10 g/l accounts for and everything is grouped together as salaries…. Does anyone have experience in customizing the P/L? Thank you! I appreciate any feedback!

Im having an issue enabling the AP document recognition service. It is an active license. But when I go to enable the license, I get an error that says: the feature cannot be enabled because the current license doesn't include the support of cloud services -  Any suggestions??Thanks!

Business Event History shows that the business events has no issues and the email notification subscribers also has no issues, but when I want to process the email, I could not find the email notification under Email Pending Processing. Hope someone can advise why and how can I fix it. thanks

Hi All,We have a custom made report to show the balances of inventory stock items including their images.The report runs ok without images but it crashes when we execute it with the image option.Also it runs fine for a small set of data with the image. So the problem is when you have over 1000 records to be loaded with the images.This is what that is used to load the images at the moment:Could someone please let us know if there is a way to optimize showing images?.Thank You

I just created a new unit 32C and want to include the unit in the consolidated report.  When I run the consolidated report, 32C will not be included in the report.  Am I missing some critical steps to set this up correctly?  When I run the department 32C report standalone by clicking the tree, it will show a correct report.  But it is just not included in the consolidation report….   Thank you for your help in advance! 

Hello,        We recently upgraded to 2021R2.On stock item screen, if click “sales price”, normally a new tab would be open.However, some user encounter system remain still, nothing happens, no new tab open.        How is that?        We are both using chrome. Is it some setting in Chrome that prevent the new tab open?  

Overview: I have a custom table to display info to a grid.  When the user clicks a button on the form, I call two methods.  One to delete the records matching the filter and then re-add the data back into the table using the same filter values.  The data in the table cannot be “selected” using a normal select statement as I have to parse fields from the AuditHistory table (ModifiedFields contains null delimited field/value pairs).  I am “de-normalizing” the data so there is one record in the custom table for each modified field in the ModifiedFields column.  This is what the customer has requested.The form works as expected except that the DeleteData method only works EVERY OTHER TIME!  Here is the sequence of events:open form.  At this point there is no data in the table. Click Get New Data The DeleteData fires and nothing is deleted (obviously...there is no data in the table matching the filter yet) Data is added to the table as desired using the filter field values. Before anyone panics, I am not planning on deleting ANYTHING from a core Acumatica table! :-)I’ve read this post but it involved deleting in a “one-time” fashion using export scenarios.  I don’t think that is an option for my use case.My requirement to to create a SQL View that can pull data using a GI.  Got that under control.  The issue for me is that it is not possible (AFAIK) to create a View in SQL to pull the data and de-normalize it without using a loop in SQL, which is not allowed in a SQL View.My plan is to create a custom screen that can use C# in an Acumatica customization to process the data and store it in a custom SQL table.  When a user uses the custom screen to pull data into the table, I want to delete EVERYTHING from that table that was put in there previously by that user.  Otherwise this table will grow very large for no useful purpose.I know I can pull a record set and cycle through it and delete rows one at a time.  Is there an option in Acumatica I have not found

Then performed the purchase receipt to the same task and cost code & issued half of the items to the same task as per the requirement. There is a leftover of the purchased items and now I need to issue these items to another task.System does not allow to issue items to another task . Primary contact has been introduced for customer in 21R1. After we moved to 21R1, it seems billing/shipping contact is still loading from default Contact (defContactID in DAC) if uncheck override on Customer screen, but no where to change default contact anymore

Have custom report created in Report designer. Long comment field on the report ic cut when exported to PDF. Tried to add some spacing between sections - no change. WratText=True, CanGrow=True for the field. 

Is there a way to force a quantity more than 0 on a SO line?This is more of a quality check for Customer Service during the order entry process.
