Hi,

Have anyone done similar inquiry to view all the critical materials for all the production orders? Would be great if able to share the GI with me, or assist me in creating the GI. Thanks!

There does not appear to be anything in the XML other than the header.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><Error><Code>MissingKey</Code><Message>Missing Key-Pair-Id query parameter or cookie value</Message></Error>

Hi. We’ve done a GI which shows us both components and sub-assemblies which are negative available without the PO and RO respectively. It gives purchasing and production a way to prioritize orders and see critical materials across all orders. See snip of GI below.

GI showing amount available without PO

In general the GI takes the quantity available (which in our setup includes amounts ordered on either a PO or RO) and backs out the open orders. Those which are negative without the PO or RO quantities would be “critical materials” as we don’t have enough in house for the demand.

If this is what you are looking for please let me know and I can share the GI.

Nice Job.  Just a few comments.

  1. It excludes QtyProductionSupplyPrepared and QtyPOPrepared
  2. It only includes demand for QtySOBooked and does not consider any other demands such as transfer demand or production order demand.

Thanks!

  1. Yes, for our purposes the RO and PO prepared quantities are excluded, however it is easy enough to add them to the respective formulas in the inquiry.
  2. In our case, the quantity available from INSiteStatus, based on our Availability Calculation Rules setup, includes all demand so those demands are included. You may be seeing different results depending how your availability is being calculated.

Thanks. I don’t use the Qty Available because it’s not used by MRP
