Is there a way for us to create a generic inquiry, for this two table. Currently my project on the company is to set an approval map on the Sales Quotes based on the total amounts, and when printing the quote, the Approver name and their E Signature will be shown on the report. I want to use the subreport to get the approver name on the main report on the sales quotes. But my problem is how can i get the E Signature to be shown on the report.   

hi all, i would appreciate if anyone could assist or suggest any fixes. I am trying to check a custom bool field on a sales order split line using a business event triggered by an action off a GI.  the GI lists all allocated sales order split lines for a stock item marked as “requiring calibration” on the stock itemi check the line, actions - “Calibrate Line” which triggers a business event with an import scenario as a subscriber. the idea is to check the bow “Calibration Certificate Created” so that they don’t attempt to calibrate lines already calibrated. The event runs and fails with the entry below in the history.If i check the option in the history and “execute” the import runs successfully. If i run the import scenario as a stand alone scenario, it also is successful which points me down a route of an issue with it running as a business event from the action rather than a problem with the import scenario.  version is 2021R1 21.105.0023 any suggestions would be appreciated, import

Hi,I have run the inventory balance report with following parameters.  In the report, it shows 20 items under PO receipts. But there is no uncompleted PO receipts available. I’m unable to identify what is the quantity shown under the PO receipts. Could anyone help me to identify what is this quantity shown under PO Receipts ? Thank you,Dulanjana

Good Afternoon Everyone  Our company is currently on 2021 R1 (Build 21.115.0017) Construction Edition.  We are wondering if any company has the “Customer Order Nbr” field (Customer PO) on the sales order screen set to be a required field.  If so, is there a way to make this field required only if the customer requires a PO on their invoice?  If the customer doesn’t require a PO on their invoice, this wouldn’t be a required field on the sales order screen.  We welcome any ideas/feedback from the Acumatica community as we brainstorm options.  Thank you!

Nice day.I have a customization screen on mobile to get GPS Location of current user when they press a button. How can i access the user preferences of the logged in user in my business logic, I need the UserPreferences values in my RowUpdated event and want to do some customizations based on that. 

I want to default the value in Warehouse when a new row is Inserted. I have written FieldUpdated event on InventoryID, so when a item is selected i am able to default the warehouse. But Issue is when I try to add the items using the ADD ITEMS popup. There the value is set to the default stock-item’s Warehouse field and not to my desired Warehouse. Can anyone help he here. 

In the Warehouse settings screen, you define your Warehouse Locations in the Location Table. There is a field called “Path” in this table, but I can’t find an explanation anywhere of what this field does/what it means.In the Pick/Pack/Ship workflow, the handheld device keeps asking you to scan the nearest warehouse location. This never made sense to me, because there doesn’t appear to be anywhere in the system where you can tell it the distance between locations. So why would it care where you are currently, if it has no idea what the most efficient next location would be to send you to?So I’m wondering if this Path field maybe has something to do with Pick/Pack/Ship and its ability to distingish between Locations that are far away or close to one another? 

AS of yesterday our Acumatica Shipping process started to fail. I get this error message using Chrome. We have tried Firefox and get a different error, plus it is extremely slow. Any advice would be appreciated  

I have an item that we purchase through MRP and use in manufacturing. This item is in base unit LF and we purchase in Rolls. When purchasing in Rolls, you must buy a full roll - it is not divisible.In the Create PO pop-up, it converts the LF to Roll which is great but it doesn’t seem to round up and so the PO can’t be created.I must be missing something here. How can I get the quantity to round up? It should always be a full number (1,2,3,4,5 rolls, etc.)

I have a method, FooBar() that returns a value that I want to be made available on my web service endpoint. I display the value on a non-persisted field by setting it in the RowSelecting event, but it does not make it to the endpoint? How can I get the value of my non-persisted field to the endpoint?

I have a prospect that receives payments for a scheduled training session i.e. month-1- payment is received however training can be scheduled to take place in month-3- but very often training classes are not yet full so they push training out again say to month-4-. How flexible is our deferral codes or deferral schedules in these instances? I.e., if a scheduled month or two months are missing and do not get ‘run’ or posted, what happens? Can they just skip months as necessary, then run the applicable month and update the schedule somehow? Thanks,

Does Acumatica have another way to assign Projects to Work Groups at the Project Level other than Approval Maps. I would have assumed a Work Group or PM (assigned at the project level) could follow an AP Approval WorkFlow without users have to go into Approval Maps. Is there another way to assure WorkGroup AP Bill Approval routing can be achieved.

Hi! I’m new to using Acumatica Report Designer and I still don’t get where I should put table headers for example. In this picture, the highlighted part is what I want to be my first set of columns (and I need three sets of columns). Then I encircled this columns’ respective contents. Where do I put them? I tried to put it in the detail section, then tried putting my next set of columns in another page header section and tried changing places too but I can’t get what I want. I want my first set of columns to list down all contents before showing me next page (2nd set of columns) then next page again (3rd set of columns). I don’t even know if I’m making sense to anyone right now. Thanks for your help! 

Hi,I have a simple piece of code calling field verifying that does not quite produce the required behaviour.  The custom field in question sits in a DAC extension to SOShipment (SOShipmentExt) and is called usrSealNo.  Essentially all I am looking to do is raise an error if the value in this field has been used on any other Shipments (and prevent the record from being saved until a unique usrSealNo is provided). The code in place is:Now, when  a value is entered into the field that already exists on another Shipment, the Field Verifying event seems to raise the exception OK:However,  the user is still able to save the record despite the error being raised.I have other FieldVerifying events in my customisation that do prevent a user saving when the  Error exception is raised.  The difference seems to be that they are on fields that are in a custom DAC, not a DAC extension.Is there some trick to Verifying custom fields in DAC extensions?Thanks in advance for any help on this,John.   

I am trying to port some of my calls over from using the Rest API to using the ODATA4 interface. Using a simple call like this… http://ODATAV4_URL/PX_Objects_In_InventoryItem?$filter=InventoryCD eq 'BCWICFGBLK’&$format=json How to include a list of all the attributes and values associated to a InventoryItem. With the RestAPI, I could just $expand=Attributes and it would return that in the payload. I can’t seem to figure it out when using ODATA. Thank you all! Eric

Scenario:We charge customers a flat fee for expedited shipping (let’s say $10). To accomplish this in Acumatica, we use a shipping term that adds $10 to the sales order.On our end however, we use different carriers based on location using the external plugin feature (linked to different ship-via codes). As a result, Acumatica is adding the freight COST from the carrier as a freight PRICE to the customer in addition to the shipping terms fee.This is because on the  “Order types” screen, we have “calculate freight” set to true.If we set “calculate freight’ to false, it will disregard the flat fee as well. Question:Is there a way to make it calculate only the shipping terms and NOT pass the ship-via cost onto the customer?I know we can hard code the flat fee as premium freight, and get rid of the shipping term, but that is to ideal for us for other reasons.
