We are going to implement an external system for crew and equipment scheduling for road construction/repair jobs.  Project Quotes will be created in Acumatica and converted to Projects.  At this point project info will be sent to this external system via an API/web service - that is all fine.  The challenge is that they also need any file (.pdf, .jpg, .xlsx, etc.) that was attached/linked to the Project in Acumatica to also be sent to this external system where it will be linked to the project there.  Is this possible?  Has anyone ever done anything like that before?  Another requirement from the receiving  system is that the files be converted to Base64 for use with their web service.I’m just curious to hear if anyone has done anything similar and to see what is even possible. 

Hi, I have tried setting up a new System Email Account for a client, but when I go to test it, I get the error shown below. I tried setting it up using my own business email and it worked perfectly, so I was wondering if you had any ideas as to why this client email isn’t working? I should also note that this email has been created by the client’s IT Department recently for the purpose of sending emails from Acumatica. Let me know if I can provide any other information. Kind regards,Andrew  

Trying to build an import scenario that adds POs to a purchase receipt. Where would I find this action on the Import Scenario screen mapping for Purchase Receipts: 

I have created a custom field called GTRInvoice in my sales orders table and my invoices table and I would like that field to copy to the invoice when it is created from the sales order. Hello to all - new to this community.  If this topic has already been addressed please kindly point me in the right direction.We have the “Projects Module”.  Currently I have about 70-80 projects and would like to run a report that tells me revenue by “Task”  / “Actual Quantity” across all projects.  Any ideas? Eric

I recently upgraded my Microsoft Outlook to 1.2023.807.100 (Production) and client version 20230804005.15. Now I have lost all functionality of the Acumatica integration with Outlook. Is everyone else having the same problem?

I’m creating an Import Scenario for the Purchase Request screen (PO.30.20.00).I’m having difficulty with the ADD PO button (found under the DETAILS tab).  My error message is: “The Add PO button is disabled.”  Here are my steps:  What am I missing?

Hi all, We need to trigger an email notification when our AR dept receives a payment and takes the Sales Order from On Hold status to Open. This lets customer service and shipping know the order is available for shipment. In the past. this worked but what was happening that subsequent changes made to the order (ie, our distribution changed status from open to shipping), the credit hold release email was still going out. So what we did was put PAID in the order description and we want that as the only trigger. Unfortunately, that’s not working the way we have it set currently… any help?(PS -- other notifications are going out just fine so the email end of things appears to be ok...) 

Scenario 1) Holidays are days off for the employees but the time needs to count towards weekly OT.  If the employee had Monday off as a holiday, but then works a 40 week on top of the holiday, the employee would get 8 hours of OT.   

Good day,I am using Email Template to send an ACH notification from Screen AP302000, normal ACH notifiaciton with business Event. My client is requesting to add the Branch of the Bills on the Email template (I manage to add that to the AP642000 report), but cant find the way to add it to the Email body. I am using the following datafields but none has the Branch from the Bill that was paid:Some are from the Payment Branch, is not helping the case. Any recomendation is appreciated. Thank you team. These is the result of an email with those fields for Branch (Test enviroment)The number 5,7 and 8 are the Branch ID from the Payemnt, not the bill(s) paid.

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone might have a solution or suggestion on the Taxes by Paycheck report. (It probably does not matter, but the Acumatica version is 2023 R1, build 23.103.0013) Working with my client, we built 2 templates utilizing Additional Sorting and Filtering. 1 template lists the detail for all paygroups that start with “EB” correctly. 1 template lists the detail for all paygroups that start with “JT” correctly. The Totals page is identical for both runs; therefore, the totals page does not adhere to the Additional Sorting and Filtering. Does anyone have any suggestions?  

When using the pick/pack/ship functions, the quantity on the scanner always defaults to 1 and the user has to manually push the button to change the quantity on the line to the actual picked quantity. This can become a very tedious when there are pages of shipping lines to be picked.There should be a setting in the Sales Order Preferences->Warehouse Management tab that allows the pick screen to default to the quantity on the shipment line.The purchase receipt screen has a similar option to set the default the receipt quantity to zero or to the PO order qty.

I have a screen called Transaction Entry.When a certain criteria on a related Sales Order is not met, Transaction Entry should be read-only. And I’d like to let the user know that the condition on the Sales Order has not been met.Currently I’m using RowSelected to test for the condition on the Sales Order. If it fails, then I’ve been setting e.Cache.AllowUpdate = false. In addition, I have been setting:e.Cache.RaiseExceptionHandling<MyDac.transactionNbr>(e.Row, e.Row.TransactionNbr, new PXSetPropertyException(“Condition failed”))I’ve used this elsewhere so that the user can see the red X and know why they can’t edit the record.BUTSince RowSelected is fired while I’m creating the record when the Sales Order condition hasn’t been met, my code is throwing the exception.So, is there a more correct way to alert the user when they pull up a record as to why they cannot edit the record?At this point it feels like it will be easier to create a PXAction button that I can show/hide and giv

So I have tried with 2 options:Option 1: Status not equal On Hold or Open → I'm still able to print Open Shipment → incorrect Option 2: Status = Confirmed or Status = Completed → I cant print Confirmed Shipment → incorrect Do you have any idea on this issue?Thanks in advance,Yên Chi

Hi Team,I'd like to add the text "REPRINT" as a watermark in the report. When I print the report, I want "REPRINT" to be displayed in the background like a back image. want to add the text "REPRINT" in the report, just like the text provided below. However, I'm having trouble adding this text as a watermark. Hi,My application generates new Bills in Acumatica via REST request.if document’s size is less than 25mb everything works fine, new bill is created and document is attached to it, otherwise if documents size is > 25mb, I receive this error.Is there any configuration parameter in Acumatica to increase allowable size of the document ?

I have an import scenario based on a GI. The GI is grouped by several key fields, and one of the resulting fields is called ‘State’, which is a count of the number of States that are represented in the data.The GI returns the correct result: But when I attempt to use the resulting value in the Import Scenariothe result is empty.I’ve tried so many work-arounds, but nothing with aggregate fields seems to compute.Is this a bug or a known limitation?

Every invoice that I try to “Recognize” in the Incoming Documents screen generates the error “Discovery Endpoint Address not set”.  I am manually dragging and dropping the invoices onto the screen and they do display but that’s all other than the error.

I have a report that I need to run everyday at 7PM.   The report has a Date Range Parameter.  I need this parameter to be the Current Day   ie @TODAY.   I can not enter @TODAY in the parameter fields.  How can i schedule this report to run daily?  The community articles lead me to creating a business Event, but in order to setup a business event you need to have a ScreenID.  I dont have a screenID, or a trigger such as change record.   I just have a report that needs to run at 7pm.Report Parameters - Need to set Start and End Date to Current Date.Automation Schedule - This schedule works, but I dont know how to set the date parameters for Current Day. 

Hello,I’m having an issue where AP did not link the PO to the bill when it was entered. It went through the whole process and was paid.I know it can be reversed if the status is open, but since it was paid and now closed is there any way I can link it to the PO?I don’t understand either.. if it can be reversed, how would you apply the payment again without it thinking it was paid twice? Reverse the bill and payment and then enter it all again?It’s causing a lot of extra work when I’m in the project close out report, the costs are allocated to the project but finding out what costs belong to what PO manually with a ton of bills and PO’s on a job…it’s very time consuming.Not sure if there is a way to do a project transaction like entry where it can hit the PO but not be posted to the GL? but..Any help would be appreciated.
