We have a customer using the service package in Acumatica. They want to bring in service history to allow users to view what service has previously been performed for a customer or piece of equipment, even if the service happened prior to starting in Acumatica.What process would you recommend to add the service history in Acumatica?

For most of our inventory items, our valuation method is Average Cost. However, for many of our POs or inventory adjustments we had incorrectly issued at $0 and therefore our average cost is significantly skewed and incorrect. The true correct average cost for our items is actually our Last Cost. Is there any way of manually updating average cost? How can we go about rectifying these incorrect average cost values?

Hi,I have created a scenario to Create multiple PO receipts line, that scenario has been worked but unfortunately the PO Receipt quantity which I have added in the Data Sheet not updated and Original PO Qty is showing in the Receipt Qty column. Hello all,I am working on a report in which I want to display receivables based on the week ending + one week.I am using this formula for the column heading=Concat( 'Week Ending ', DateAdd( [@WeekEnd], 'w', 1 ) )It does exactly what I need, however it displays the time stamp at the end of the date and I would like to remove this. What is the best way to do this? I tried using Left String to cut off after the date, but depending on whether the day and month have one digit or two this would be either 8, 9, or 10 total characters so it’s not a viable solution.=Concat( 'Week Ending ', Left( DateAdd( [@WeekEnd], 'w', 1 ) ,8)) How can I format the date to only include dd/mm/yyyy format without the time stamp?Thanks in advance,Helen

Good day,We have asked this question to Acumatica pre sales and they do not have a defintive answer and say we need to test this process. The current scenario that works is that Acumatica can recommend using Zebra scanners with the mobile app and it works using WMS, however the Sales order process is different and not tested.The client would like to achieve a process whereby they install the Acumatica mobile App onto a tablet or handheld device and then raise quotes and sales orders on the app, when they need to select the item to quote on they want to be able to use that same device to scan the barcode on an item and have that pull in the stock item into the SO/Quote. This would also be true for raising an invoice.They dont want to go the tradtitional route of a POS workstation that stands at a till point with a connected canner device as they require mobility for their sales team.Anyone else with this problem or have a solution?

Hello,I am tinkering with the route management demo data and trying to create inventory from picked up items. I have the setting on the service order type to post material to inventory, and I designated what I picked up in the service order. I have it where it is now popping up on the screen, however, when I go to process, nothing happens. Can someone please let me know if there is a setting that I am missing that is not described in the consultant documentation? See below for snip- one thing I noticed is that I get a red dot next to the row when I try to select it- not sure if that is causing issues with the batch updates. I am using 23.1 sales demo data and my period is open for 05-2023.

Hello,We have a multi-level BOM that requiresOutside Processing at the Sub-Assembly level The Components require shipment to the Outside Processing Vendor (“Vendor Shipment)Issue:When Running MRP at the top level Finished Good level - MRP Display will suggest the creation of the Sub Assembly Production Order But MRP will NOT suggest the Components on the Sub Assembly that are marked for “Vendor Shipment”. (It does suggest if a Component is short and is marked as Regular)Options that I tested If a Production Order is created for the Sub Assembly and MRP is run - it will suggest Prod Order for the Sub-Assembly. The problem is 2 fold - There are Sub Assemblies that are 3-5 deep and hence will require a lot of effort to create and keep track of all the Prod Orders and Components required. Very Heavy and a lot of Multi-Step “Outside Processing”  (Components shipped to Vendor 1 → who in turn will ship to a second one → who after processing will send it back to the client) Seasonal Business -

On the more menu of the shipping screen, there is an action labeled “Get Return Labels”.I can find no documentation on what that is supposed to do.  Is it supposed to just print a label or does it do anything to data?Also, I get an error saying “Confirmation for each and every package is required.” when I do this to an open shipment.  If I have a Confirmed shipment open in the screen, the “Get return Labels” is grayed out and unavailable. Thanks for any insight!

I’ve set up the ACH Payments and that works. Now, Accounting would like to send the Vendor Reference Number in the ACH Payment, too. I found a tutorial on setting up ACH Addenda in the Export Scenario here:Modifying Acumatica ACH Export ScenariosThe problem is that their tutorial doesn’t show the entire field name for PPD_PaymentRelatedInformation_ID. On the Bills and Adjustments screen it has a field with the label Vendor Ref, but if I Inspect Element, it’s an entire different field name from the APInvoice object. In the Export Scenario they are using APPaymentApplications as the source object. I can’t find documentation anywhere for that object and it is not included in Acumatica anywhere that I can see.We’re going to being doing more ACH payments soon, so I would like to know if I’m using the right field. Right now, my field for PPD_PaymentRelatedInformation_ID is set to:=(rtrim([APPaymentApplications.VendorRef]))My gut tells me this is wrong and VendorRef isn’t a field, but I don’t

Hello Community,We have a project which has Inventory tracking settings as Track by Project Quantity and Cost.On the warehouses We have a location assigned to this project. When creating a direct receipt to this location we are getting this error despite this location being related to the project. Kindly assit on what I might be missing.   

I’m having trouble exporting to PDF from acumatica. The main issue is, I’m using Khmer fonts, and the are not showing up on the exported PDF. Also, the table size gets mismatched. I have seen the threads that talk about Korean and Chinese fonts not working, and the official answer was to change the font to a microsoft supported font, I tried that. It did not work.This is the original report This is how it should export to PDFThis is how it’s coming out. Please note that the Khmer language fields are all blank. Also, the tables are not coming out right in the exported version and if you look at the logo, it’s all messed up. The entirety of the logo is a PNG file, but it’s getting butchered when exported.These are the PDF settingsCould someone please help on how to solve this issue? 

We’re running 21R1 with a system email account configured to use Azure Modern Authentication.  I’ve had users report a few instances of messages not being downloaded by Acumatica.  They’re finding this out when customers send follow up responses that quote their previously sent message.It appears that these emails are just being skipped for no reason I can discern. The system schedule history does not show any errors for processing during the time that message would have been downloaded.Each time I have confirmed that the message is in the inbox for the account Acumatica is configured to use.   These messages are marked as unread in the Outlook web UI and no one other than myself has the password to sign into this account directly.  None of the emails I’ve investigated were being marked as junk.The most recent instance of this happened last week and as far as I can tell, nothing is amiss with the message.  The end user did not modify the subject and the To address is correct.  I am not

When I select the Type: Initially the drop down menu displays: Normal, Drop Ship, Project Drop Ship, Blanket, Standard.If I select BLANKET - the drop down menu displays on two options. Normal and Drop Ship. Do you know why?

We want our manager to have the opportunity to approve PTO in Acumatica.  I’m not sure if we have the correct modular installed.  What modular is require?

I installed the 2022 R2 build on my local Demo install and we also have it in an upgrade sandbox we are testing.  I have several Generic Inquiries that came with Acumatica that all have similar errors.Error:  incorrect syntax n ear '1000'.  Incorrect syntax near ')'.Reclassifications by Period Unprocessed GL Transactions with High Scores Open Anomalies by ConfidenceWhat needs to be done to get these errors to go away?  Is something not enabled that should be with this new release? 

Hi all, I am busy retrieving information regarding activities using the RestApi, but have some difficulty linking the ownerID to a specific user to get his contact details. Using the RestApi, is there any way of getting the contact details for an owner by using the ownerID? I can’t seem to find an entity to search owners by, or I might be overlooking something. Thank you   

Hello,I added RUN REPORT actions to the shipment screen.  As a test, I am just printing the standard sales order.  When I click my new action on the shipment screen, it pops up the sales order, but it is blank.  The action is not passing the values of the sales order I intend to print. 

I’m trying out the new CRM Task subscriber on the Business Events (SM302050) screen:  On the Task Templates (SM204005) screen, I try setting the Owner field to the AR Invoice Owner like this:  Then I create an AR Invoice with the FINANCIAL → Owner field set to Jay Parker on the Invoices and Memos (AR301000) screen:  The Task gets created by the Business Event (which is great and really cool), but the Owner field is set to my user and not the Owner on the AR Invoice.  I tried hardcoding the Owner to Jay Parker like this and it worked:  But I don’t want to hardcode. I want the Owner to pickup dynamically.Any ideas why this isn’t working?I’m on Acumatica 2021 R2 (21.203.0026)

I need to make the APPLY NOW linkable in PDF.  I tried adding a text box with a url and placing it over the image as transparent but it doesn’t work.  If I drag the text box to an empty area it works fine.  Any solutions would be appreciated...thanks.
