Solved

I added a field to the Users table. Then I created a customization project to modify the screen.I published the project, and this field was visible to me. The field was called “JoinDate”.I unpublished the project and deleted it from my instance. The screen has returned to its original state. However, each time I get into users, I get this error on the screen. (Screenshot). Where do I need to go to get rid of this field completely? I am trying to learn here, so the purpose of creating this field was to understand customizations.Thank You!

What are the best practices for when Employees/Users leave your company? How long should you keep salespersons in the system as inactive and can you eventually delete them?Should you set a user to disabled rather than deleting them?If you delete either a salesperson or a user, does this cause issues in data they might be tied to?

HI All,Do you know how to prevent user from changing Employee Status to Inactive if Employee still has an Prepayment does not Closed?Employee has been using as a Vendor ID so when recording advance for Employee, we use Employee ID too. When Employee left the company, HR will change the status to Inactive and current the system has no warning that Employee still own company an advance or not. And then when Payable want to apply that Prepayment, they have to change status of that Employee again. This flow annoys us a lot and seem does not make sense to me. The system may have some setting to prevent user from changing Employee Status to Inactive if Employee still has a Prepayment does not Closed?Appreciated to your advice,Thank you so much,Yên Chi

We have an issue wherein we may enter part of a Sales Order, or the full order, and then place it on hold awaiting some further information. The Sales Order may be on hold for several days.  We are on 22R1 Build 22.119.0027 When you go to Prepare Replenishment, however, the replenishment calculation seems to include all orders, including those on hold, in the demand numbers.  This can cause inventory buyers to purchase items that may not be needed because we have changed the Sales Order lines or quantities before releasing it from On Hold status. Is there a setting to have Replenishment ignore demand from On Hold Sales Order, much like the Inventory Availability Calculation Rules can be configured for various scenarios.  Alternately, it would be useful to have a “Draft” Sales Order Status where the order is not visible at all to other modules in the system until the Sales Order is released. Has anyone else struggled with this scenario or had successful workarounds? Thanks in advance.

I would like to setup the Project module to track our consulting projects, most of which are prepaid. For example, let’s say we invoice a customer for 8 hours of work. I would like this to show up as a liability in our GL and project. As our consultants work on the project, I would like the project billing to automatically deduct from the prepaid amount and to generate a $0 invoice. Can this be automated? It doesn’t look like you can have an allocation or billing rule that looks at the balance of another account group in the formula, so I’m not sure it is possible. The expectation is that consultants will not go over the number of hours that have been sold without an approval so I would actually be fine having to look at a custom report that shows projects that are over budget… Guidance/advice from project experts is appreciated 😊P.S. there should be a “Project” sub forum on this community!

My customer is looking to create a customer credit term where a 35% prepayment is required on initial sales order entry and then the invoice when generated would be an installment of 35% due net 30 and 30% due net 60. Currently you can create Multiple percentage installment plans but cannot require the prepayment at sales order time but it does generate the two invoices with correct due dates. If I do single installment plan, it will allow prepayment but I only can have one due date for the balance due. I can see that you can create an installment plan with a day of zero for 35% but this does not require prepayment on sales order. Just creates an invoice due today. This also assumes I need to invoice immediately before shipping. I think I may be able to get creative with cash discount being 30 days with zero discount % and make the total terms net 60. But feel this could cause confusion. Trying not to customize too much if possible. Any ideas are appreciated!

I’ve been asked to identify business accounts where the ‘owner’ field contains an employee that is no longer active. I can’t figure out how to do this...I assume it’s possible?

Hi Everyone, Is there the ability to consolidate multiple purchase orders for multiple production orders into 1 Purchase order? For example: A client has an Outside process:  10 production orders needing “heat treatment” (an outside process) can be tied to one PO with 10 lines instead of 10 POs each with one line

How do I change the A/R revenue GL mapping? Some of our billings need to be posted to difference revenue accounts. I need the postings to be done at billing instead of reclasses. Thanks,

I want to populate  [AMMTran.LotSerialNbr] as the report parameter. I have added the parameter in the schema but nothing is showing up on the report screen. This is how I see this empty selector.

Hello Experts,I'd like to inquire about setting the Customization Projects and Customization Project Editor screens to "View Only" access. The objective is to prevent users from making any modifications to customization projects, including publishing and editing packages. While I have successfully set "View Only" access for the Customization Projects screen, I've encountered an "Access Denied" error when attempting to do the same for the Customization Project Editor screen.I'd appreciate any guidance on this matter and would like to know if I've overlooked any necessary steps or if there are any specific configurations that need to be addressed.Thank you for your assistance.Regards,Sagar

Hello! Is there’s a way to use one warehouse for all the branches, without creating multiple warehouses. Since the branch is mandatory in the warehouses profile and it posts transactions for the selected branch of the warehouse, it is unable to use one warehouse for all the branches. Thank you in advance!Amanda

Hi,I just want to ask if there is a need set up to show pre-release button.Thank you!

I’m trying to setup UPS integration with Acumatica. Looks like it’s no longer accepting API credentials instead requires OAuth. Does anyone have setup documentation? Is this the same issue with Fedex?

I found a series of Business Accounts that were assigned to an Owner (employee) Lisa Short. This employee is now deactivated and these accounts throw an error when trying to generate sales orders via an Import Scenario or API call. However, I cannot figure out how to pull a GI of Business accounts associated to this Employee because the values do not pull any filtered results;

Looking for a Generic Inquiry to get the List of Matrix Items associated to Template Items.

Does Procore accept AP invoice with or without quantities? Does it matter?

Is there a way to remove/reverse/delete an Issue so that we can return the Lot Serial number. Most of the time we do not receive the vendor credit memos until after we have Issued out the purchase order/po receipt. And we don’t use the Sales Order System - which has a RMA function but is not useful to us as we issue PO’s directly to the vendor. Also, is there an option to return to warehouse or vendor? We are trying to balance our inventory and making manual adjustments is not an option as we are very large company with hundreds of parts. We are new to Acumatica and any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hello Community,I'm looking to set up a cloud instance of Acumatica ERP for my organization, but I'm relatively new to the process. I would appreciate some guidance on the steps involved in creating a cloud-based Acumatica ERP instance. Specifically, I'm interested in knowing:1. Which cloud providers are commonly used for hosting Acumatica ERP?2. What are the initial setup and configuration steps?3. Are there any best practices or considerations I should keep in mind?4. How can I ensure security and data integrity in the cloud deployment?5. Are there any specific resources or tutorials you recommend for this process?Your insights and experiences would be invaluable in helping me get started. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Hi you bunch of lovely people, I hope you’re all having a great day! I am rather new to acumatica, only been using it circa 6 months. I am adding some new fields to our business account screens and had a question. Some fields include ‘Top Architect’ - bool, and ‘Architect Sectors’ - Textedit. Is there any way of locking ‘Architect Sectors’ from being editable if ‘Top Architect’ is false? I appreciate any feedback! Many thanks in advance, Aleks

I’m just starting to explore Marketing activities in Acumatica and I’m stumbling right out of the box.I want to create a dynamic marketing list, but my underlying generic inquiry is not available as a selection for my marketing list.I’m sure I’m missing something basic, but I’m stumped. This is my generic inquiry setup (I’ve tried it with the workspace fields both filled in and blank):But it’s not listed as a selection on my marketing list: What am I missing??

Hello all, I am wondering if has anyone come across this issue that the “Upload” from Excel is disabled on Top of a details grid in a master-detail form (Below screenshot). Background:This button was hidden initially so in the page Grid Control I set the “AllowUpload” mode to true to make it visible. The user is admin and has full access. The DAC keys are verified and fine. The DAC didn’t have a PrimaryGraph so I thought it could cause the issue so using a DAC extension I added the PrimaryGraph to the DAC properties. I have checked and there is no event/method that disables the button in Acumatica source I tried to Enable the Action using RowSelected handler but I do not see this action amongst the rest of the actions. I reset Caches and restarted the application.I have no idea what else could disable the Upload action.
