We are using the Acumatica Shopify Commerce Connector to synchronize item information from Acumatica to Shopify.A template item in Acumatica contains an attribute named TEMPCLOSEO. The attribute value can be either TRUE or FALSE.We want to configure an export entity mapping with the following logic:When TEMPCLOSEO is TRUE, export the value Closeout to Shopify. When TEMPCLOSEO is FALSE, export a blank value.We attempted to use the following formula in the Shopify export entity mapping:=IIf([[TemplateItems -> Attributes.TEMPCLOSEO]] = 'TRUE', 'Closeout', '') Data is syncing fine when the SKU has true value but it is failing false information(field: input.metafields.0.value) Value can't be blank. Acumatica returns this following error:Expected ResultThe export mapping should return:Closeoutwhen the TEMPCLOSEO attribute is set to TRUE.When the attribute is set to FALSE, the export mapping should return a blank value.

The only way I can get the changes to the MUI screen is to modify the files in the development section in VS, then update the MUI files in the project editor and publish the project.I thought I could update the MUI screen by executing this statement in Terminal, but it doesn’t make the changes:If this worked, it would save me hours in testing.  Publishing the entire project takes forever compared to running the command line to build the screen.Also, my popup wasn’t showing the fields.  I published, restarted the app, reset caches, MANY times.  I kept changing the TS and HTML, but the fields were not showing.  Suddenly, they are showing.  I literally spent 5 hours trying things, republishing resetting everything and it didn’t show the fields.  Is there some steps I am not taking after publishing the project to get the MUI code to display properly?  I’ve been losing my mind over this.    

Hi Everyone, I noticed that the Welcome to Acumatica screen  is missing as off last night.  When our users login, this is what we see.  Has anyone else encountered this?  If yes, please share what steps you took to correct this. Thank you, Jelena

i have a client who is using task, item and cost code on their cost budget.  everything has it’s own description (task is filled out on the task tab of the project) however, when i add the cost code to the cost budget, the description inputs the cost code description, not the task description or the item description.  i was wondering if there was a way to change what description defaulted to that (ideally, i would like the inventory description to populate in the field): 

We are almost ready for Go-live and the customer noticed that the description from the change request isn’t carried over to the Change Order. The process:Change request creation 00001 Click on the Create Change Order button to create the Change Order  While looking at the cost budget it’s empty. As seen on the screenshot below: 

We use Sales Order (SO) Invoices for all our Field Service invoices.  Our SO Invoice has its own report design, which is different from that of an AR Invoice.  The invoices for Service Contracts ONLY use the AR Invoice report. Because we have several companies, we cannot modify the AR Invoice report to meet our service company’s specific needs.  I have submitted a case to Acumatica.  We are told that Service Contracts only use AR Invoices.  To use the Sales Order Invoice, a customization is needed.  This makes no sense to us.  We should be able to use our SO Invoices to bill a Service Contract.  We believe this should be an out-of-the-box feature.Does anyone have recommendations for using the SO Invoice for Service Contract Billing?

Is it possible to merge duplicate Vendor accounts into one?

I’ve noticed over the years that a string like .../(W(104))/… can be found in URLS, but I’ve never been able to determine what this indicates.  I can create a link without this section of the URL, however it resolves back with a number when the site comes up.  Can someone help me understand?

How would I run a report to show me the open AP documents for a specific period? Currently the reports are not tying because the AP bills were paid in a future period, so they seem to be omitted from AP Open Documents by Vendor. Our AP Aging report won’t work because it doesn’t seem to handle retainage documents.Any ideas on how to accomplish this? Is it a feature out of the box?

Wondering how others have dealt with this in the past or if there is an option or way through low code no code options to handle this - when you are shipping in Acumatica there is no requirement to pack the items or pack the shipment in full. This can lead to data and reporting not really making sense especially when things like EDI or other integrations are involved. We would like to ensure that when someone is shipping that everything that was picked on the order gets packed into packages, but there is not currently a way to set this up.It seems like something simple that there should be an option for this already. How have others handled this? 

October 1 begins our fiscal year and all employees have received a raise. Is there a way to import the pay increases to all employees? I have already created a spread sheet with all the data that I believe is needed to import. Most of the earning codes are the same for a majority of employees. I am new to Acumatica but I am trying to learn as much as possible and I do not want to enter one by one.

I’m not sure what to do with Government Reporting this week.Whenever we try to process it through Aatrix it usually works fine. Starting last Friday it is giving us this error message when trying to run the Federal Tax Deposit:Any thoughts on what we are missing here?Thanks!

Hello, My boss is asking for an automated email of our inventory report every week. Currently we use a pivot table set up by our VAR to show our inventory at a quick glance.  however, i cannot automate this as an excel file email so i have to build a report. I’ve got all the data to show, however, each warehouse creates it’s own line. I’ve tried grouping, but that will only pull results for the BBPA location. I looked at possible solutions but adding =Sum to each line didnt work, grouping didn’t work, trying to hide the 0s in the conditions didnt work.  Any ideas on how to combine all of those lines into one single inventory line like the pivot table does?

It would greatly improve the ease of getting all costs onto our service orders if we could link an AP bill directly to a service order.  We do use the PO system for most of this, but still have expenses come in that we have to manually add to our service orders because there is not currently a way to link the bill in AP to the service order where we want the cost to show.

We need to the ability to have negative quantities on service orders so we can return items from a customer and back into inventory, while giving the customer credit for that return.

Hi Team,I have noticed that in sales price worksheets once it is released, we are not able to make adjustments to it. However, when we click on ignore automatic line discount (Which is selectable though the worksheet is released) the entire worksheet is put back on hold for edits. Can anyone please explain to me what the intended functionality of this check box? I have tested with this and if we delete the worksheet and it doesn't remove the released prices in the sales prices form but this seems problematic for traceability. Thank you in advance on any thoughts. Warm regards,Yasali

Hello,I have a scenario where when the user navigates to Customers » Print statement and click on ‘send’ the email activity pop up is generated with the default email template configured in the Report designer Template ID.  However when the user clicks on select template » replacing email body the fields mentioned with ((XXX.XXX)) such as ((CustomerDefaultBillingContact.EMail)) in the email template is not getting populated.  This is the header of the email template the user selects when changing the default template to the custom one  however, only the text is appearing on the email  I had tried to add this template to the report designer to see if the fields are populating and they do appear properly. it doesn't work only when the template is changed. Appreciate if anyone could help me in identifying the issue here and how to resolve it.  Thank you so much in advance.

All, I have an issue/question very similar to the one below, posted a few years back: As it stands now, any sales or cs rep can view any note or email activity attached to a business account or customer. This is a good thing as reps will often fill in for others when they’re afk or on vacation etc.But we now have a particular Business Account that’s being developed by our C suite where sensitive information is being shared. We could take this off channel, so to speak, but it’s easier to track by keeping it in Acumatica. But as it stands now, any sales or cs rep could view the activities attached to the BAccount. We would like (for now) to have this limited to only our CEO, COO and CFO.Is there way to lock this down? Once the BAccount is converted to a full Customer it won’t be an issue. As it stands now we would like to have some sort of role-based viewing but I don’t think it would be possible without heavy customization. Thanks!

We recently upgraded to 2025 R2, and I attempted to export data to Excel. Although the system indicates that the operation completed successfully, the downloaded file does not appear on the screen. I also checked my Downloads folder, but the file is not there.  

Hi all! I’m new to Acumatica; we just converted on 12/1 from Quickbooks.  How can I show an invoice marked as paid for my customers?  They ask for a paid invoice all the time for their records.  We sell high end products that many people need this for insurance purposes. Sometimes a customer will make a partial payment.  Example, a customer has an invoice for $100,000 worth of goods for which he paid $80,000.  I need the invoice to show: Total:  $100,000Amount Paid: $80,000Balance Due: $20,000 Or if it’s paid in full, it would be marked as such and balance due would be zero.  How can I do this?

Hi, I have a field to display PO#, and I’m trying to make its size dynamic, but despite trying all possible properties, it still only displays as much as fits in the original field size.I tried CanGrow first, then also ticked WordWrap, CanSplit, and Multiline, and as a last attempt, I also ticked CanShrink—none of them worked.The Report Designer version matches the Acumatica version, and the text field is not inside any other panel.I know I can manually increase the field size, but I’m trying to understand if these properties are actually functional. Any insights?Thanks! 

Hello Everyone, so I want to release the Translation Worksheet and there is an error“Inserting 'GL Transaction' record raised at least one error. Please review the errors. The currency assigned to the denominated GL account (112001) is different from the transaction currency”. I know the error because I set the currency on Chart of Account (COA) because the COA was uses to set up Cash Account. The Chart of Accounts (COA) entry we configured for the Cash Account requires a currency setting; is there a way to set up a cash account without specifying a currency?So we can remove the currency in the COA?Please help me to solve this, I have been explored and try to create use AMR for the reporting, but it doesn’t work because when entering the formula, I can't directly pull the rate from Currencies Rate.Our Base Currency is IDR and we want to Conversion to USD.If you guys have any suggestion or advice, that would be very useful, I really appreciate you kindness.
