I have a client who does not want PTO hours to be included in the threshold for overtime pay.  For example, if the employee worked the following:8 hrs on day 18 hrs on day 28.5 hrs on day 38 hrs vacation on day 48 hrs on day 5This person only worked 32.5 hrs and had 8 hrs of vacation pay; in this scenario, I do not want to calculate overtime on the .5 hr.Does anyone know how to configure 2026 R1 to accomplish this?

I have an operating system which is where the trigger logic for all service fees resides. Example: New File is authorized, billing policy is selected, billing policy contains the fee amount for that client. This operating system is the “source of truth” and Acumatica is used for client invoicing through the projects module. Operating system creates a “fee voucher” that contains the information needed on the Acumatica project transaction. Is there a way for the nonstock item to provide the debit and credit accounts for the project transaction? I can manually enter them when I create a transaction. Wondering the best way to accomplish this with an API/Integration. 

Hi, I was wondering if we can control visibility of individual action buttons based on user access rights. Currently, it appears that access rights can be assigned at the screen/header level, but not directly to individual fields or action buttons. I would like to know whether it is possible to configure access rights at the action level, so that a button can be shown or hidden depending on the user’s access rights.Is there a standard way to do that? If not, is there a recommended customization approach for achieving this?Thank you.

We noticed that when an item is removed from a Shopify order, the removed item is still being synced to the corresponding Sales Order in Acumatica with a quantity of 0, instead of being ignored.Is there a way to prevent removed items from syncing to Acumatica? We also observed that this behavior occurs with the native connector.Expected Behavior:Items that have been removed from the Shopify order should not be synced to the Acumatica Sales Order.Current Behavior:Removed items are still synced to Acumatica as line items with a quantity of 0, even though they no longer exist in the Shopify order.Question:Is there a configuration, customization, or recommended approach to prevent removed items from being synchronized to Acumatica?  Thank you.

After working on this for 4 full days, I am crying out for help.  I’ve probably published 100 times.  Since I cannot rebuild the pages using the command line (would be great if you could.  Once published, the command line does nothing.)  My project is HUGE and it takes 3 or so minutes to publish.  3 * 100 is a lot of minutes to wait!I created Popup Panels for two screens.  I am able to get the panels to open, and the custom actions for them are firing.  BUT I cannot find any way to get the fields to show in the panels.The code and panels work perfectly in Classic UI.  Strangely, in order to get the menu options to show on one screen I have to manually add the buttons using the @gridConfig({  topBarItems: { code to do it.  Doing that makes some of the default buttons on the grid disappear, so I would like to not use that approach, but desperate times call for desperate measures.In case you wonder, I am hiding the Add Items button and creating my own so that I can add new functionality.I

Hi everyone,I'm working on a PXProjection that joins a parent table with a child table using a LEFT JOIN.The relationship is one-to-many:One parent record can have multiple child records. Some parent records may have no child records at all.The projection itself works as expected, but I'm unsure how the DAC keys should be defined.The child table has a key field that is part of the projection's key. When there is no matching child record because of the LEFT JOIN, that key is NULL. However, a key field in a DAC cannot be null What is the recommended approach for defining keys in this type of projection?Should only the parent table's key fields be marked with IsKey = true? Is there a best practice for projections that include optional child records? How do you handle one-to-many relationships where the child record may not exist?I'd appreciate any guidance or examples. There is a scenario that I am looking to solve for. Customer puts in CAD shopify order/paid in CAD but I would like that order to get added into Acumatica as a USD order to avoid any currency exchange rounding issues between shopify payout and bank reconcilation.  Any suggestions?

I am setting a P&L that shows month over prior month.  I would like to add a column that shows the amount variance and % variance.  What is the syntax needed in the calculation formula to do the math to subtract one column from another?  

Hi Acumatica People, I am trying to upgrade a non-production environment to 2026 R1 from 2025 R1. I have historically commented out section in the web config file associated with running RabbitMQ. I downloaded the msi, builds.acumatica.com - /builds/, and kicked-off the installation and it worked.It starts the configuration wizard and I select “Upgrade” and I receive this dialog box:   Then I receive a RabbitMQ configuration dialog box. “Choose whether the system will automatically set up RabbitMQ on the current servoer or if you will provide connection settings to connect to an existing instance.” I opted to “Set up RabbitMQ on this server automatically” It tells me that it is unable to connect to RabbitMQ and that I should try an existing RabbitMQ instance. I would prefer to setup RabbitMQ on the server automatically, using a service account for “Acumatica things”. How do I do this?

Can anyone tell me what the formula $AdditionsInPeriod or $DisposalInPeriod in a FA report means? I assume it means the total additions or disposals for the period but I am not familiar with the prefix $.The report I am working on seems fine but the totals do not balance. I am trying to understand the field content so I can correct the totals.Many thanks in advance. 

Hi all,I'd like to clarify some fundamentals about how event handlers work in Acumatica, specifically around naming conventions and method discovery. I have a few basic questions:1. How exactly does Acumatica's framework discover and invoke event handlers under the hood? Is it purely reflection-based at graph initialization, looking for specific naming/signature patterns, or is there more to it?2. Is naming a method in the classic convention (e.g., CustSalesPeople_RowInserting) sufficient on its own for Acumatica to recognize and call it? 3. Would an arbitrary/non-standard name like _RowInserted (as opposed to the generic handler's required bare underscore _) be recognized as a valid event handler by the framework? My understanding is no - it would compile fine as a regular method but never actually be invoked, since it doesn't match either the classic DAC_EventType pattern or the generic _ pattern. Hi Team,I have one processing screen, using which I am creating customer, then order using the created customer and then payment for the created order in the same process.There is an inconsistent error “The item CustomerID is not found (restricted:False,external:True,value:xyz)” is coming at the time of payment creation. The strange thing here is the Customer is there in the system and Order is also created using the same customer but at the time of payment creation getting this error and that too not the case with all the records. As, for some of the records the flow is working fine from customer creation to order to payment.Can anyone suggest something about the possible cause and resolution of this please. Thanks in advance!

I have a dozen fields on a form that have cascading PXFormulas to calculate other field values automatically. For example:Base PriceCommission RateCommission Value (PXFormula of [Base Price] times [Commission Rate]House Comm. Split RateHouse Commission (PXFormula of [Base Price] times [House Comm. Split Rate])Everything calculates correctly when the record is saved but Classic UI updates these fields right away.The post below also talks about this but the solution there was to change all of the PXFormulas to  PXDBScalars but I’m not sure that this is appropriate as I’m storing all of these values.Is there something I need to write in the .ts file to trigger the PXFormulas or do I need to make each field use PXFieldState<PXFieldOptions.CommitChanges> and write out all of the formulas in Updated events?

Hello:We’re looking at the feasibility of converting to modern UI in production when it leaves the Beta.I’ve ran into several interesting things, but one that feels concerning in the long run.  It is common in our custom code to have DAC’s with properties decorated as the following example: [PXFormula(typeof(Selector<MyCustomClass.vendorID, Vendor.acctName>))]In classic UI, these formulas are calculated correctly as soon as the DAC is exantlated (as expected?).However, in modern UI, the above PXFormula is never calculated (verified with a break point put on an explicit setter).  This was a bit of a surprise as we were tending to approach the UI as being two different display layers - ‘views’ - built on top of the underlying model and controller.  Is this a bug?​​​​ If not a bug is the construction we are using deprecated or invalid and only working unintentionally? is there a property in the PXFormula that would make this work? Hello,We are getting an error when trying to approve clock entries, :The clock entry cannot be approved because a labor transaction with the NNN number has already been created for this clock entry.These clock entries are time applied to production orders.I thought that clock entries didn’t go into a batch until they were approved. Is that correct?How can I get past this error?

Hi, I am trying to import AP bills. The AP Bills are tied to a PO Receipt. As well as the vendor, I have the PO number & PO Receipt Line number. I am having an issue with trying to select the Add PO Receipt Line in the Scenario. The Document is being created but nothing else is happening.(If in migration mode, you cannot use the Add PO Receipt button) Does anyone have any solutions/ideas for getting this to work?Thank you in advance!Bill
