I've set up a Unit Set hierarchy for consolidation, where Company A is the parent of B and C. Based on the documentation, Company A should show the consolidated data of its sub-units. But when I run the report for Company A, it’s not totaling B and C correctly. Is there a specific setting in the Unit Set or Report Definition that I might have overlooked?  

Is there a way or something I am missing that will not show discounts on the line or document level to select if they are expired, a sequence doesn’t exist, or the sequence is marked as inactive? We have old discounts codes we don’t use anymore and even if I have deleted all sequences or inactivated all sequences they still show up to select on sales orders. There is an error when selected, but we don’t want these to even show.

Our Item Class has two levels, for example: 01-01, 01-02... 10-01, 10-02, 10-03... 90-01, 90-02.In reality, there are spaces in the value, the actual format is like 01 -01, 01 -02, etc.In the Report Designer, I want to group data by the main Item Class. I used this expression in the Group settings:=Left(Trim([InventoryItem.ItemClassID]), 2)Strangely, most Item Classes are grouped correctly, but 01-01 and 01-02 are still split into two separate groups.Moreover, I tested the condition Left(Trim([InventoryItem.ItemClassID]), 2)='01' and it returns True for both records, which is very odd.What is the cause of this issue? Or if I need to group by the main class, what other methods can I try?

However, the PXHtmlView displaying ChatLog in the preview panel does not refresh — it still shows the old content. Has anyone successfully used the AI Assistant in 26R1 beta? I obtained a license key for it and am able to access the assistant, but when I ask it questions it just spins. Things I tried:Opened browser console and found this error: Warning: No client method with the name 'usermessagesent' found.Cleared browser cache.Exposed a GI to AI Assistant, then located AI Assistant Data Processing screen (ML503010) to process it. Got the error in screenshot below. Is AI Assistant not intended to work in beta version?  

Hi! Is it possible to create a business event directly in the customer portal?I have access to the business event screen in the portal, but the screen looks a lot different from what it is in the ERP. I also don’t see the question mark icon at the top that usually takes you to help documentations for the screen. Can someone explain to me how business event works in the portal and how to create/run one in the portal please? Im sure this has been asked, but I can not find it.  I need to know where to allocate material for production orders.  We are running into issues where not all materials are in for all orders, but enough is in for some.  and the production floor doesn’t know what they can and cant fill, then material gets pulled for orders that are not components complete.  example we have 1 product for 5 orders.1,2,3,4,5  we have everything for orders 2 and 5, and I want to allocate that material to those production orders. thanks!

Hello! I created a business event to trigger based on record inserted into a generic inquiry. The goal is to notify case owners when there is a comment submitted on the customer portal. The generic inquiry is only showing customer portal comments, so ideally when a record is inserted, then the business event would fire and send an email. Currently the GI is working as I see new records being inserted each time a new comment is submitted from the portal. But when I look in the business event history, nothing has fired, there is no history… The GI is also published to all user roles. And the email used in the subscriber is an active working email. Any idea why this is happening? 

I have an Appointment GI that I am wanting to show the Date  + Time in the results.  If I add the field directly to the results grid it only shows a Date.  If I do: =[FSAppointment.CreatedDateTime], it does show the Date and Time in the GI but in UTC.  Is there a standard way to show the time in a GI for this field or am I required to do the dateadd feature to adjust. ThanksChris Lower

When working in the Acumatica Report Designer, the Excel Grid button has become grayed out and unclickable. Strangely, this does not affect the actual Excel export functionality — my custom reports still export to Excel successfully. What would cause the Excel Grid button in Report Designer to be disabled, while report export to Excel remains fully functional? Can I fix it?

Hi Team,Currently, when I send an email from the PO screen using the Send Email action, the email is being sent with a PDF attachment by default.However, I have configured the email template to attach the file in Excel format, but it is not working as expected.Could someone please help me understand how to attach the report in Excel format while sending the email from the PO screen?

Starting January 1, 2026, Shopify will prevent the creation of legacy custom apps. Instead the dev dashboard will have to be used.The credentials and authentication process appears to be different for new apps developed using the Shopify dev dashboard.Do we foresee any breaking changes for the Shopify connector after January 2026 if new legacy custom apps cannot be created?Are there any documents relating to setting up the Shopify connector with newer apps developed through the Shopify dev dashboard? Specifically interested in whether the new “clientId” and “secret” associated with newer Shopify apps relate directly to the “API Access Token” and “API Secret Key” that were used in legacy custom apps? ie should those newer credentials just work in place of the older credentials? They don’t appear to.

In 2025 R1, Acumatica released electronic payment method to allow for file creation type that used by RBC to pay vendors in the US from a Canadian bank account (like an ACH). Hi,Can the attributes from inventory item screen be added as a field into a customization? I am looking to add a few attributes from inventory items to the Sales Orders detail tab so when entering an line item for an order it will lookup the field from the attributes. I cannot see the attributes I have created to add them. Any thoughts? 

Having a tough time getting the Purchase Receipts to default the Warehouse and Location.  It is defaulting the warehouse but the location just shows <Split> and won’t fill in the default from the Item Warehouse Record.Here’s the scenarios:When doing a Purchase Receipt you have multiple options to enter the Detail Lines on the Receipt.<Enter Receipt> from the PO Screen – this builds the Receipt entry from the PO and does all the settings.  Detail Lines to not have a Default Location.  They do have a Default Warehouse   Manual Entry – this seems to work properly when you enter the Detail line with Inventory ID, the Warehouse and then the Location Defaults from the Item Warehouse default Receiving Location   On a Manually Created PO Receipt – select the <Add PO> button which will show a list of POs from this Vendor which you can select and will fill the Detail Lines – no Default Location.  They do have a Default Warehouse   On a Manually Created PO Receipt – select the &

I have created a generic inquiry that shows customer history.  The GI is from the GL Tran table and I have included an image below of the tables involved in the GI.  The GI works when installed into the side panel of another GII have tried two different ways to install it into the customization project for our Sales Orders.  One time as a Navigation Search Records so that it would come up as a choice under the three dot elipse, and one time as a Navigation Side Panel.   I have published the customization and recieved messages saying it was sucessfull.  I did not however choose to publish all customizations and dont know if that is a required step.  However, you will see in the screen below the status of my actions is new whilc previously published ones are inherited.   Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Good day. I’m having an issue with my subreport. When I use the reference number range (from and to), it only retrieves the first reference number, and all the results end up being the same.  and this is what i put on my SubReport  

I had an employee create a bad Vendor Location ID. This ID was used in a transaction, so I can’t delete it. I need to change the Location ID code to something no one will ever use.I have inactivated it, but import scenarios bypass that status and bring them in as a vendor location to stock items etc. So how do I change this ID to something else inside of Acumatica?Thank you!

Is there anyway out of the box to have subtotals show up on the AIA Continuation Sheet for the Original Contract and then the Change Orders? This is what our AIAs looked like out of our old system:Thanks!

Hi there, We recently completed an update to our Acumatica to  2025 R2, and I noticed a change in the search functionality.Before the update, we were able to enter a Vendor ID in the search bar and retrieve results that included the Vendor ID. However, after the update, the search bar only returns results based on Vendor Name or Description, and no longer recognizes Vendor ID.I also checked the Demo company, where searching by Vendor ID still appears to work as expected.Has anyone experienced this issue or knows how to restore the ability to search by Vendor ID?Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
