HI, I have created a business event that I want to archive every BOM but the latest one. Can any one give insight as to what the trigger conditions should be? My GI work fine and so does the import scenario, the Business Event is not firing. I also do not want it to archive the newest BOM such as A.  

When I do this in the Customer Payment Method, I get an error.   To explain further, I created an Import Scenario to Mass Update the Customer’s Payment Method as seen below but the IsDefault field is unchecked. 

I’m encountering an issue when creating a PO from the Inventory Planning Display screen. The demand is being generated for a specific Project. However, when the PO is created from the Planning screen, the Project field on the PO is defaulting to Project X instead of inheriting the actual Project associated with the demand.I’m trying to understand whether this behavior is driven by system setup/configuration or standard Acumatica functionality.Is there any setup or configuration that can prevent the PO from defaulting to Project X and instead carry over the correct Project from the originating demand?

Hi, I am getting duplicates when printing a credit memo. What’s weird is it not happening to all credit memos and invoices. Only happens to some of them. I’ve attached the report file. Thanks for your help!  

Hi Community, I am in need of some help. We are currently booking some AR payments into a clearing account and then using the Bank Deposit feature to transfer those funds to the final bank account. However, we’ve found a couple instances where a payment that’s part of a bank deposit is returned. We would normally void the payment.How should we go about recognizing the returned payment since we shouldn’t be voiding payments that are part of a released deposit? We also need to be able to select the returned payment in the Process Bank Transactions for matching.Appreciate any insight.Thanks.

Has anyone been able to get an import scenario to work for the Trial Balance screen?  No matter how I adjust the Commit checkboxes, the assignment of Import Number, or the Key assignment in the Data Provider among other things, the best I can do is get a single detail record saved and I wind up with the same number of trial balances created as I have records in the file.  I’ve tried using keys from the record (Branch, Ledger & Fiscal Period) and also an added field to the file to group the records by Key.  I currently have ‘<NEW>’ assigned to the Import Number field in the attached xml, but that isn’t the issue.  I haven’t had this issue with other import scenarios for screens that have a Master - Detail relationship.  Since I have about 15 companies and 13 trial balances that need loading per company, I’d rather use an import scenario over the grid import of the detail.  At this point, I haven’t even tackled the Validate step; I’d settle for just getting the detail records i

I’ve imported Employee records to the Employees EP2030PL screen with an Active history record.  I could use help creating an Import Scenario to create the PR203000 Employee Payroll Settings record. I’ve tried the out-of-the-box Import Scenario, Import Employees for new EmployeesPayroll without success.  I’m using version 2026 R1.It seems the Insert Action in the  Import Scenario does not open the Create Employee Payroll settings dialog, or the Create button isn’t getting clicked.Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. 

Trying to import Production Orders and the first row went in, now the rest will not. Any tips?  

I have a client that has to create zero net pays once in while and they can’t release the transaction. It shows open and nothing hits the general ledger. Is there a special way you have to release a paycheck that has zero net pay? I have tried releasing it from paychecks and adjustments (inquiry), releasing through the paycheck transaction, and through process payroll documents. It is stuck in a open status and the only options you get are calculate. Since it did not hit the ledger then how do you continue with the transaction? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

When we use the Acumatica plug in within Outlook we aren’t able to link to any account. This has been functioning in the past but over the last week when Acumatica had an update it doesn’t work. For account and contact it only shows a list of employees and doesn’t allow us to search accounts in our Acumatica database. Please see screen shots below and offer answers as to how we can fix this issue. Thanks! 

in 25R1, what logic is used to archive sales orders?  shipments?  The help doc states that sales orders with a status of complete or canceled will be archived.I ran the archive process on sales orders and shipments.  The majority of the sales orders were archived but I still have sales orders that fall outside of the retention period with the completed status.  The archive process did not archive any of my 20k shipments that fall outside of the retention period.Any insights?

I have received some requirements from users. They want to display a QR code payment image that is generated as a base64-encoded PNG from an external API.I need to show this base64 image on an Acumatica form. Once the user scans the QR code and completes the payment, we will receive a response from the API and continue with the next process.Please guide me on how to display a dynamic base64 image in Acumatica 2025 R2, for both the Classic UI and the Modern UI.

 Hi Everyone,I'm facing an issue with barcode scanning in Acumatica 2026 R1 and would appreciate any guidance.I have created a report that prints a Code128 barcode using the standard PictureBox barcode control.Current barcode settings:Source: Barcode Barcode Type: Code128 Value: =Trim([INLocation.LocationCD]) (also tested with LocationID) BarHeight: 1000 BarWidth: 10 WidthRatio: 3The barcode prints correctly and the human-readable text is displayed below it.However, when I try to scan the printed barcode using the Acumatica Mobile App, nothing happens—the app does not detect the barcode at all.To isolate the issue, I generated the same barcode using the TEC-IT online barcode generator with the same value (e.g., PACKING-AR), and the Acumatica Mobile App scans it successfully. This suggests the mobile app is working correctly and the issue is related to the barcode generated by the report.Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

Wonder if anyone has started looking into the new Materials Management feature in the Construction edition and if so, any thoughts/feedback on it?It looks like it shows promise but we aren’t going to be using this in a typical construction scenario since we are focused on Custom Engineering projects and simpler/smaller types of transactions where we aren’t using hundreds of materials. Thank you.NOTE for Acumatica, please add a Tag for “Material Management” for posts.

We are currently on 2022 R1, and plan on upgrading regularly. We were attempting to use Smartsheets for project management with Acumatica because of the built in integration. Smartsheets is no longer support, and was pretty far behind in capabilities. What project management programs integrate with Acumatica - we are Project Accounting only, NOT construction. Thanks!

I’m hoping someone can confirm something for me.  I’m working on an import scenario to update PO Lines.  The source is a GI that brings back POLine records that meet the criteria that I want to update.  The data includes the PO Type, PO Number, and PO Line Number.I first tried using <Line Number> (turning off the automatic <Line Number> = -1, of course).  If I use this, to get somewhat reliable results I have to subtract 1 from the line number in the GI.  But then when I hit a PO that has had a line deleted (I used one that had only one line, but it was Line 2 because the original Line 1 was deleted), I can’t select the line.If I use @@LineNbr, I can use the exact line from the GI.What I’m thinking (and this is probably one of those “Duh, didn’t you know that?” things)--<Line Number> references what line in the details grid to load.  The actual Line Number value on the line doesn’t matter--in my scenario above with the lone Line 2, if I set the <Line Number> val

When a user is created manually on the Users screen, entering login ID directly, with Generate Password checked, linking to an employee, assigning roles, and saving, the welcome email fires immediately and is logged in Activities.When a user is created using the "Add Active Directory User" button, following the same subsequent steps (link employee, assign roles, save), the welcome email does not fire. Is this expected/documented behavior, i.e., is the welcome email trigger tied specifically to system-generated password creation (which AD-linked users never get, since they authenticate via AD)? Or is there a setting/condition we're missing that would allow the email to fire for AD-imported users as well?We'd like the same welcome notification to go out to AD-imported user.

This appears to be a bug unless someone can help explain what is happening (and possibly how to avoid) I am attempting to add a 2nd UOM for a group of items purchased from our default vendor. Typically we might buy an item in a 100 unit case but the default vendor offers the same item in a 200 unit case as well.  When I add the new UOM on the Vendors tab of the Stock Item and click save, the new UOM will be listed with the original one and only the old UOM will have the Default (for Vendor IsDefault) checkbox checked. However, if you refresh the page you will discover that neither row has the default checkbox selected!The item no longer has a default vendor?! How? and why?  If you try to add the new UOM from Vendor Inventory (PO201000), you get an error “An attempt was made to add a duplicate entry.” even though that page is capable of displaying and editing multiple entries Is there an easier way to load this data without removing default vendors from our items? 

I dont believe this is possible but going to ask. Can you allocate an items quantity on a sales order to a location (like how the Shipment does it when it is created). I know you can allocate it to a warehouse. The Location field exists on the Line Details tab of the Sales Order but it is not editable.
