Hello Everyone, so I want to release the Translation Worksheet and there is an error
“Inserting 'GL Transaction' record raised at least one error. Please review the errors. The currency assigned to the denominated GL account (112001) is different from the transaction currency”.

I know the error because I set the currency on Chart of Account (COA) because the COA was uses to set up Cash Account. The Chart of Accounts (COA) entry we configured for the Cash Account requires a currency setting; is there a way to set up a cash account without specifying a currency?
So we can remove the currency in the COA?

Please help me to solve this, I have been explored and try to create use AMR for the reporting, but it doesn’t work because when entering the formula, I can't directly pull the rate from Currencies Rate.
Our Base Currency is IDR and we want to Conversion to USD.
If you guys have any suggestion or advice, that would be very useful, I really appreciate you kindness. Thank you.

@dinda56 Check this screen and options.

Translation Worksheet IN CURRENRY MANAGEMENT is used to translate balances from the source ledger/currency to the reporting ledger/currency. When the Translation Worksheet is released, Acumatica creates a Currency Management batch in the destination/reporting ledger.

Hi @mohammadnawaz51 thank you for your response, we already create the ledger for the Translation Worksheet as you mention before but when we input COA that already set default currency to IDR, we can not released the Translation Worksheet. Do you have any solutions for that? cause I try to remove all currency in the COA but it will impact the Cash Account.
I really appreciate if you any suggestion, thank you.

Hi @dinda56,

For GL accounts linked to Cash Accounts, I would not remove the currency from COA. Cash accounts are currency-specific, so the linked GL account should remain denominated.

The error happens because account 112001 is denominated in IDR, but the Translation Worksheet is creating a batch in the destination currency USD. A denominated GL account can only accept transactions in its own currency.

Please review the Translation Definition CM203000 and exclude the IDR cash/bank accounts from the USD translation range. If you need those cash balances in USD, handle it through reporting/consolidation design rather than posting USD directly to the IDR cash account.
