Payroll Import Yearly Raises

October 1 begins our fiscal year and all employees have received a raise. Is there a way to import the pay increases to all employees? I have already created a spread sheet with all the data that I believe is needed to import. Most of the earning codes are the same for a majority of employees. I am new to Acumatica but I am trying to learn as much as possible and I do not want to enter one by one.

Try Import Scenarios ~ Import PR Employee Compensation Settings.  If you have a sandbox, I recommend testing there first.

Dear Sonia,

That looks so easy. Thank you so much. You don’t know what you don’t know until someone gives you a hint. I appreciate it.

Sincerely,

Hi @SoniaEchols90,

Is there a way through an Import Scenario (or otherwise) to update the End Date on the line that you’re trying to update with a new Pay Rate? The Import Scenario above to works for new employees but I get an error for current employees because there is already an Earning Type associated for them with a date that overlaps the new date.

Thanks

Hello. Were you able to resolve this? I am having the same issue. I separated out the updates into two imports - one to add the end dates to the existing records and the second to insert the new records, but the end dates still won’t update because the system sees the old entry as a duplicate instead of updating it.
