When we try to export the line details from the Sales Order Entry screen we get an error:  Object reference not set to an instance of an object.  Is there a way to correct this?Thank you 

I am trying to round the formula below to nearest whole number. Every way I’ve tried it get a syntax error. I am not sure where I am going wrong.  Original formula:=iif([PMBudget.Type] = 'I',[PMBudget.Amount],0) + iif([PMBudget.Type] = 'I',[PMBudget.ChangeOrderAmount],0) Here is what I entered using the round function.  When I am in the formula editor box it passes validation but then I get a syntax error after I save it.  =iif([PMBudget.Type] = 'I',(Round(([PMBudget.Amount],0) + iif([PMBudget.Type] = 'I'), 0)),[PMBudget.ChangeOrderAmount],0)

Is there a way to send a notification to a supervisor of upcoming service orders which have been scheduled for the coming week. Can this be done with the calendar board? or an export to an outlook calendar?

Hello all,Is there something we can follow to mark contacts a primary for customers? Each customer has one contact & I’m looking to mark them as primary for all those customers.  How can we do that?

We have some of our Sales Reps set up as Employees in Acumatica, each with limited access. Currently, they can only see the Sales Orders they personally entered, which makes it difficult for them to track orders for their customers that were entered by Customer Service on their behalf.Ideally, we’d like Sales Reps to be able to view all Sales Orders for their assigned customers--regardless of who entered them--but still keep their access limited so they can’t see other reps’ accounts.For those of you managing Sales Rep access:How are you controlling what Sales Orders your reps can see? Are you using Restriction Groups, Roles/Access Rights, or custom GI filters tied to Salesperson or Customer data? Do you rely on the Owner field, Salesperson ID, or something else entirely?Would appreciate any insight or examples of how you’ve structured this in you environment.

Good day. I would like to have the AR Aging report available as a generic inquiry. So far, we have an inquiry which produces the detailed version but get an error message when trying to group those results by customer. How can this be achieved?

Hi EveryoneThis is my first time creating a report in report designer and I am in need of some guidance.I have created a sub report (or tried to) I can’t see what I’m missing but when I populate the parameters I just get a blank page. When it is pulled into my main report (which runs without the link but without the information I need - obviously), the main report also becomes a blank page!My company often provide services which are charged at different rates of tax. Therefore, we want to show how much in total is charged at each rate. Essentially all I am trying to do is list all the different VAT information which when in Acumatica is shown on the Tax Tab in the invoice screen (screenshot added). I want it to display once on the invoice above the total due information.I know this information is available as I’ve been able to draw it out but it doesn’t show how I want it and I believed creating a sub report and linking this in a footer group would work. Anyone ever have a scenario on how to set a specific quantity limit in a warehouse location? For example this specific shelf can only hold up to a quantity of 5 items. There's nothing to set that as of now, you can set locations to have primary items...but no limits to the number of items a location can hold.  

Hey, Team - I’ve got a customer who has a particular overseas Vendor that requires their POs provided in a unique format.  I’m not entirely sure what direction to go here, if this is better suited for an export scenario or a report.  Any assistance would be much appreciated!The format is as follows:  The .txt file would look something like this.   

I have found many entries related to this same topic, but no “simple” solution.  Depending on type of sale (which is based on the customer), I need a different COGS account than the standard one on the Item. I’ve looked at using Reason Codes, looked at the Order Types, Posting Classes.. none of these appear to have a way of controlling the COGS account.  There is only the COGS on the Posting Class or Item.  But we need to sell the item in different scenarios and need a different COGS account (we can control the sales account but not cogs).  Any ideas besides customizations, GI’s to give data for users to generate GL entries to reclass…?Thank you! 

I have a client that has setup a business event triggered by an ACH payment on an AP Invoice. The business event currently sends a notification email that contains an attachment generated by a report that contains the details of the AP Invoice.The client ‘s request is to also attach any files that are attached to that AP Invoice to that same notification.I have tried an approach where the business event would invoke a new action in APPaymentEntry that would compose the email from the email template with the attached report and then would get and attach any files attached to the APInvoice linked to the payment.I have run into problems referencing the correct methods to generate the email notifications so the code would compile.Is something like this possible? Is there another way I could hook into the standard Acumantica business event notification email process where I would not have to compose the email and attached report and just add the other attachments?Thank you in advance for yo

Hello ,I am facing this issue i am not able to get the qty to produce in production detail screen for all the work centers. 

I have this code that was working fine on a production instance, but doesn’t work now that I am working on it from a development instance. The goal is to have specific lines that were manually added to a count receive a default expiration date of 1/1/2000. I have a method in a different code file that looks through every line in INPIDetail and uses a BQL query to assign the correct expiration dates.The validation code works fine, but I can’t seem to duplicate the success of the default date assignment code despite changing event handlers, conditional checks etc.The reason I’m doing this is to avoid an issue where when adding an expiring item to a count, it immediately wipes the entire count after entering the lot number and using OK, because it thinks the expiration date is missing, requiring the user to re-enter PI number and location to continue.Here is my code so far:using System;using System.Collections;using System.Collections.Generic;using System.Threading;using PX.Data;using PX.

Hi,I need track the COGS and Sales for a specific customer . I was looking for a way to set up the COGS and sales account to be picked based on this specific customer.This seems  not possible with the available options and I identified one issue which is if we have set up the posting class to pick the sales account by the inventory and also we have a different sales account in the customer’s GL accounts, the system always picks the account from the Inventory ID. How can I set the priority to pick the account entered in the customer rather than picking it from inventory ID?Further, I can check the sales for the specific customer in the sales account, since in the account details customer is available. I can filter and see. But in the COGS account, the business account is not available. I will be able to create a GI to connect and show the customer for COGS transactions but Do you see any other options to see the COGS for a specific customer?Thank You,Dulanjana 

Hello all,I have been able to add an image as a watermark, Acumatica logo, to the Sales Invoice form, which shows in the HTML view as seen below. However, when I switch to the PDF view the watermark disappears as seen below. Also, exporting to PDF or emailing, via the SEND action from this screen the resulting PDF file does not show the watermark. What do I need to do make the watermark appear in the in both the views and on the PDF files? Below is the setting I have used in the Report Designer.

Hey folks,Got a question:Let’s say a customer is selling a stock item in 2-3 different contexts:     a. Over-the-counter item sold at the store (has it’s own account for COGS and Sales).     b. Same item sold in the context of a service call to a customer  (has it’s own account for COGS and Sales).         c.  Item provided as a warranty item or according to a contract (has it’s own account for COGS and Sales).As far as revenue and cogs go, how does the system know where to allocate those two transactions for the same part in inventory in different scenarios?  Can you have just a single inventory item that can be used in different contexts without having to manually change the GL entries each time?

Hi all,I’ve been using Marketing Lists lately and running into some strange behavior, specifically two things:I have a dynamic marketing list containing two contacts that are unsubscribed. When I set filter on “Subscribed” field to False, it shows no contacts (screenshot below), but there are in fact two unsubscribed. Thoughts?   When I use the list in a campaign, it includes the unsubscribed contacts as members of the campaign. When I send a mass email from the campaign, it generates emails for these two contacts. Seems like it should exclude them?

How to make the quantity in the printed form blank when the quantity in transaction is 0 and show qty if transaction has quantity? Currently, it is not visible. If I make it visible, it is going to show quantity for all transactions even with quantity 0.00.Can someone please guide me? Below is my expression: Sample transaction ran from Project Billing: 

We recently upgraded from 23R1 to 25R1.  A sidepanel added in 24R1 is something we’ve been looking forward to--the new “Related Return Documents” in Sales Orders.Unfortunately only our Admin role seems to have access to the sidepanel.  When I look at roles like our SO Clerk and drill down to Sales Orders, Sales Orders, Sales Order (where the sidepanel security lives), it shows that security is inherited.  If I open a user in that role in the “Access Rights by User” screen and drill down, the specific security listed for that sidepanel is “Edit”.  My guess is that either the change from implied Granted security (which was the way 23R1 worked) to Implied Revoked security is causing this, or there may be an actual “Related Return Documents” screen (like with the Stock Items sidepanels) that I need to grant access to.  I’m hoping to grant everyone in the company access to this sidepanel--all of our users have at least View access to the Sales Orders screen.

I’m looking for a way to easily show which user picked and packed a shipment--ideally without enabling Audit History for non-administrator user roles.We’d like to track both who picked and packed each shipment. Is there a way to expose that information through a GI or report, perhaps by referencing system fields or tables that store user IDs tied to those actions?If anyone has done this (or knows which tables or fields contain that data), I’d really appreciate any pointers.

I’m trying to create an import scenario to amend customer default payment method. I’ve tried using the billing tab and amending there as well as on the payment methods tab but neither working. Can anyone assist please?The payment method does already exist. 

I prepared statements for the date of 10/31/2025 and successfully sent those statements, however Acumatica is still showing the “Last Statement Date” of 4/30/2025. Why is this date not showing as 10/31/2025 since that was in fact the most recent date statements were generated?

Starting January 1, 2026, Shopify will prevent the creation of legacy custom apps. Instead the dev dashboard will have to be used.The credentials and authentication process appears to be different for new apps developed using the Shopify dev dashboard.Do we foresee any breaking changes for the Shopify connector after January 2026 if new legacy custom apps cannot be created?Are there any documents relating to setting up the Shopify connector with newer apps developed through the Shopify dev dashboard? Specifically interested in whether the new “clientId” and “secret” associated with newer Shopify apps relate directly to the “API Access Token” and “API Secret Key” that were used in legacy custom apps? ie should those newer credentials just work in place of the older credentials? They don’t appear to.

Hello,Looking to initiate approval maps for AP and PO’s under certain conditions.Documentation indicates that a notification will be sent, but I don’t see how I link the notification template to the approval rule?   Do I set up a notification template like this then Acumatica sends an email every time any document is created that needs approval?
