 When we try to update the Base Unit from CS to EA, the setting just returns to CS without an error. What may be causing the issue? Are there other item settings that stop the user from changing the Base Unit?There is no current stock for the item and no open transactions in the system.  

We are migration from QuickBooks to Acumatica. We were able to migrate almost all information already (customers, items, vendors, invoices, etc.). The issue is extracting the Credit Card information linked to customers from QuickBooks.We have talked with QuickBooks and said this can’t be doing a manual entry is the only solution. For us that have thousands of customers with credit card on file is not a viable option.Do you know if Acumatica have a tool for extracting the credit card information from QuickBooks? Any other option that can recommend for doing this? 

  Quick question.  We renamed our endpoint that we use for our customization, but we need to delete the old endpoint for some of our customers that still have the old one.  The old endpoint was named Altec2017R2, and is now called DLAltec2017R2.  I can't see any way to delete the old endpoint from the customers list of endpoints. 

Hello, apologies for the long question.I am working to setup Acumatica and noticed the handling of inventory for Sales Order shipments is different than every system I have worked on in the past. With our current configuration, when you create shipment for a Sales order you stop just short of Updating IN. This is because one you Update IN it creates the inventory COGS transaction on the PL. We do not invoice and recognize the revenue, until the product is delivered to our customers. So if you do Update IN this creates a disconnect between revenue and expense (not an option). However, if you do not Update IN the inventory remains “On Hand” at the warehouse and all reporting shows those quantities on hand. What I would prefer to see is that inventory moved to In Transit until the SO is invoices at which time the inventory is expenses and the Receivable is created. How do we backup Web Service Endpoints in Acumatica 2021 R2 Build 21.204.0055 to an XML file? Is it possible to do so?

Acumatica 2020 R1, Build 20.101.0032, Screen ID: PO301000 Is there a way to have the Promised On field located within Purchase Order screen default as blank? It currently defaults to the date that the Purchase Order is created. Using Automation Steps, we can change the date that shows in that field immediately after creating a new Purchase Order, but as soon as a Vendor is selected it reverts back to the current date. We do not have any lead times set for our Items - so I’m not sure if that is partially causing this issue.

Situation - Setup has one central Warehouse and each technician has a van with stock items treated as satellite warehouses.Requirement - During appointment, stock items used are consumed from the technician’s van. Hi:Our client is used to filter his legacy Crystal Reports using the condition [CustID] Not Equal 9*.Crystal generates the correct SQL clause as Where [CustID] Not Like ‘9%’.What would be the equivalent syntax in Report Designer’s Additional Filtering Conditions?We don’t have an option like “Does Not Start With” I could generate the correct filter using Parameters, but the client may want to use multiple ‘Not equal’, so it would be ideal to use the Additional Filtering Conditions. Thanks

Hello All,I am attempting to create a bill of material to process packaging. The amount of material that we package changes very often, but each finished product still only requires one of each packaging material.For example: One order may call for 20 widgets, and it will require one box and one strap to package it. Another order may call for 18 widgets, but still requires the same one box and one strap for packaging.In creating the bill of material I’d like to make the amount of packaging material fixed and w/o making a plethora of BOMs to cover every potential order I may encounter (there are a lot). I’d like to do this without allocating fractions of material (i.e. divide one box by 20 so the system generates one full box for a order of 20 widgets).It seems like this should be a common occurrence, and I’d expect the system to have a solution for this. Am I missing something? 

Hi,May I ask how to write off a small difference amount from the Vendor PO with the actual amount we paid.For Example, the Vendor PO is $1000.93, and the amount we paid is $1000.95. I know that for customer we can enable the write off function and set a write off limit, how about vendor?

I’ve so far not been able to determine how to import a foreign currency journal. There doesn’t appear to be a way to access the View Base/Cury button that is on the page and on the Transaction Details entity, there is only Debit Amount & Credit Amount. I’ve been able to assign the required currency, rate, type, effdt on the batch summary but I can’t get the amounts to go to the right place. I’m trying to create a journal similar to the system generated revals. So it needs to have a zero foreign amount and a manually calculated base amount. I have a GI which gives me all the required data. I just can’t import it correctly. The amounts are ending up in the foregin currency debits / credits (which need to be zero) - i want them in the base currency amounts.Has anyone had any luck doing this?

My company adds $3.75 handling fee to outbound UPS shipments. This amount is added to the freight cost we incur from the carrier (UPS), the sum of the two quantities (freight cost + our handling fee) are combined and billed to the customer on their invoice. I see handling charges can be added using SHIPPING TERMS, which can be assigned within CUSTOMER CLASSES. However, if I have a sale that is delivered via my company’s truck or if the customer picks up at my facility there should not be a shipping and handling charge. I’d like to avoid relying on users to manually change the SHIPPING TERMS on a sales order each time there is a customer pickup or deliver via our truck. Is there a way to attach the shipping and handling charge to SHIP VIA or CARRIER so this is automated? There must be something I’m missing in order to accomplish this. We are not the only company to use freight padding.Thank you,Matt

I am attempting to create our own subcontract form in report designer. I am using the ABC Contractor -Subcontractor Agreement (CSA). Can anyone help me line up the columns so I can have each paragraph have a title and then the next paragraphs title will only display when the next paragraph appears. Title column is on left & Paragraphs are on right (there are blank text boxes between each row)This appears not as expected and instead repeats the Left (title) column in the first paragraph. Instead of 1 title / per paragraph.See left column, repeats 4 title rows per 1 paragraph.Any ideas how to align the title with its corresponding paragraph?? 

I am trying to make a generic inquiry to pull appointments that have inventory allocated to them. Does anyone know how to make this a generic inquiry?

How does one tie the Data Entry Settings to the specific Item Class (or to the items within the class) instead of by Production Order Type or as a general setting?  If the Default Order Type is tied to the Item Class, then most of the other Data Entry Settings can be tied to the Item Class by creating a separate Production Order Type for each Item Class, but I don’t know how to set that for an Item Class. 

Please share your ideas on how to create a “broadcast” message to all users, or a means to put a notice on the screen when a user logs in.In other systems, this is helpful to advise when system maintenance is being scheduled or new features introduced.Thank you.

Hello,Our client needs to track the location and use of medical devices after they have been sold to their customer.  I was planning on using service orders to do this but there appear to be no place to record that an item of equipment has been moved from one location to the other.  These moves need to be tracked. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks James
