Hi All,Is there a way to set up the the system to create stock items in INACTIVE status by default.Many thanks in advance.

I’m trying to recreate a label design we have been using previously with another package.  The barcode is rotated 90 degrees at the side of the item code and name.  Is there any way to do this in Acumatica Report Designer? Thanks, Phil

I am trying to create user defined fields for use in AP Bill approvals.  I can get it to work when choosing PX.SM.Users as the object but would ideally like to be the members in a Role or Workgroup,  I have tried using the employee schema object but it doesnt work. Any suggestions? ThanksSharon 

When creating a Crew Time Reporting Entry, the first week that pops up as an option to click dates back to 2004. Should it not default to the current week that we are in, based upon the calendar within Acumatica?

Hello,I created a UDF on the shipment screen.  Not an attribute, a user-defined field.I want to print this on SO644000.rpx.While this report does have the SOShipment dac on it, the attribute is not available within the report builder for me to select.I created a generic inquiry just to make sure the field exists, and it does.  I can select it for the GI.I just can’t select it in Report Builder.  I even tried manually using it as a value by typing the name as it should be in the “Value” of the field on the report.  It will not validate.If I examine the DAC SOShipment it is there.  Any thoughts why this would be available for user everywhere except in the report builder?Thanks!

My client, like many, nowadays faces supply issues. Often items on the sales orders are backordered. Currently Acumatica functionality requires prepayment to be made before the order can move to the open status. Once a partial shipment has been made the order is placed back into “Awaiting Payment”. How do other Acumatica clients get their SOs in a backorder status without taking a prepayment or capturing a payment for weeks or months until the product comes in?

I am updating an Item attributes using LotSerial Attribute library though API.. Initial GET Request to get receipt details    Next is PUT request on specific ITEM.   it shows it is updated in response When i do the get request again, i cant see updated changes?  I dont know whether I am doing anythin wrong here or not...

Hi,I am new to Acumatica and need assistance setting up a Generic Inquiry. I was able to setup a GI but the information looks incomplete.We want to create a GI that shows invoices under Bills and Adjustments for a project that has a pending status for the Project Task and Inventory ID in Bills & Adjustments under the Details tab. See first screenshot below: The next three sceenshots show the configuration and results. What am I missing in my GI setup? Any information would be helpful. Hi,I am to new to Acumatica. We have an A/P approval workflow configured based on project accountants and project managers assigned to a project. However, A/P invoices are showing up to be approved for users that are not one of the approvers under Data views in Vendor Documents to Approve. How can I configure this so the invoices not are not assigned to the approver show up on the list. Thank you,

Hello. Ive created general inquiry with these fields and made push notification with webhook, so it sends selected info to my website when the customer is changed.But it sends a notification ONLY if i change account address section. If I change primary contact or additional account info it doesnt send, but inquiry contains all of this information. Wat should I do for the notification to be sent? Thanks. 

I have a client that is looking to find a way to charge PTO cost as it is accrued to the various projects. I’m interested to see if anyone has seen this before?

I just added a few fields to a custom page.  The database is correctly updated.  The project compiles and publishes, and WORKS fine.  I verified the ASPX datamembers exist in the graph.  Data is being saved to the fields.  When I try to edit the screen in the Project Editor, when I click the screen number I get the error shown below.The fact that the page works and data is saved seems to me like the page is fine.This is the kind of error that could waste hours trying to resolve.  I think it is something buggy in the project editor.I looked at the aspx page.  It looks fine too.  Before I start mucking up my project by removing the screen and re-adding it etc., does anyone know a way to fix this?  This has happened to me in the past and I ended up starting with a brand new project and recreating the screen from scratch.  I’d rather not do that.Thanks,Joe  

Hi Everyone, I’d like to use the Date-Relative Filter Clause: “@WeekStart-1” and “WeekEnd-1” so that I can have this report distributed via email weekly with the previous week’s shipments. The additional filtering condition does not let me enter anything but a hard-coded date. I’ve looked in report designer “build schema” but couldn’t find anything obvious that is casting this field as requiring a hard-coded date value.The documentation only references this pane in context of the “Behavior > ViewerFieldsMode” property. I have it set to MergeWithUsedPerhaps Advanced Filters can be enabled in the Report designer and I missed it? Thank you, 

Hi,I am new to Acumatica. How can we create a pop-up note to remain static and not disappear after a vendor is selected so all the users can see it in the Bill & Adjustments Screen while it goes through the A/P approval workflow we have created. I know some customizations might be needed. Or if there are any other suggestions please let me know? Here is an screenshot of the pop note under Vendors.   

I am trying to export a full part list with quantities for a specific BOM to excel that we can easily compare with our SolidWorks BOM to ensure they match on a new product line. Anyone have a helpful idea to do so without exporting each OP ID and phantom BOM individually and then combining into one excel spreadsheet?

Hello,We recently had the unpleasant surprise of discovering that the default behavior of the Sales Prices Inquiry screen and web service has changed between 2020 R1 and 2021 R1.We used to query the API for all sales prices with no EffectiveAsOf date specified, and would get back all prices for all Effective Dates, including expired prices.Now, all API requests default to returning only prices that are EffectiveAsOf the current date.We whipped up an emergency GI to serve this purpose, but I would prefer to use the built in Sales Prices Inquiry, if possible.Is there a way we can get the old behavior back? I have tried API requests with no EffectiveAsOf date, a null EffectiveAsOf date, and an empty string, but it always comes back with today’s date in the response, and prices missing.Thanks in advance for any insight.
