There is a way in a customization project for the screen Project Transaction :That the Unit Rate field automatically pulls information from the cost(vendor sale price) in the item as soon as you put an InventoryID? Thanks!

Hello, On the Inventory Transaction History page, it is possible to set the period for a particular month.However is it possible to use other time periods, such as a year long period? 

Is it possible to keep the manual numbering for invoice and still be able to prepare the invoice from shipment screen?One of our client has this requirement and need manual numbering for the invoice. Would really appreciate your help on this.

I’m trying to set up an approval map for Sales Orders which does the following: If the Sales Order has item X on it, it requires approval from Finance.If the Sales Order does not have item X on it, it does not require approval from Finance. Seems simple enough but the issue I’m having is that when the Sales Order does not have item X on it, it gets automatically Approved which prevents you from editing it while it is in Open status. Is there a way to set this up so that I’m still able to edit while it is in Open status? Or simply not requiring approval in these cases, rather than auto approving.We have some business automation running that requires the Sales Order line level details to be editable in Open status so putting the SO back on Hold to edit further is not an option.  

Right now we have a few allocation rules that are setup to capture cost, every hour, for certain cost codes that get time applied to them from Time Entry. For example… if cost code 00-0010 (cost type Labor) gets entered on time entry for 4 hours - accumulate $400 of cost. The issue is 00-0010 (cost code) E (cost type) is the cost code that automatically gets created for $400. Is there a way we can dictate what cost code those allocation rules accumulate cost towards? Ex: 00-0010 - Cost Code Labor (L) - Cost Type gets selected during time entry, that $400 goes towards 00-2000 Equipment.Seems silly they wouldn’t allow us to dictate where those costs get tracked?

Hello,It has come up in discussion about whether or not we can add a privacy disclaimer as text on the entry screen of the mobile device, or some obligatory popup. The text would read something like, “Using this application gives consent for your location to be tracked”. Something in that regard (I’m not a lawyer, just giving context). Again, I am open to creative ideas for how this could be displayed to the user on the mobile application- I listed two off the top of my head.

Hello,I am familiar with Shipping Rules on customers.However, is there a way when entering a shipment to make the sales order LINE “complete” or “closed” directly in the shippping screen, or are shipping rules the only way to short ship a sales order line and close it short?Does “Cancel remainder” auto close the sales order line short?Does it close it even if you have inventory but choose not to ship it on this order? Ship Complete: Only completely fulfilled orders are allowed. Back Order Allowed: Back orders are allowed for the customer if some items are out of stock. Cancel Remainder: Orders should be shipped even if the quantities shipped are less than the quantities specified on the order. If all the requested items are out of stock, the order should be canceled.

We need the costs that come through from PO’s onto our sales orders and service orders to show on the Daily Sales Profitability Report.  So firstly - is there a magic fix like a setting or something that we can change in order to incorporate these costs into the line items in the invoice?  That’s first prize.If not, I have managed to create a GI to fetch the costs for the service order using the following joins, but I can’t find the same connections for SO:I’m also just wondering if anyone has a more elegant solution than these GI’s?  I’m sure there are many others who also need to see these PO’s included in job costs.  In fact strictly speaking they only become costs once the items have been receipted so I should add another line for PC.Then - last question.  Because the same PO is linked to multiple lines of the service order, and I only need to show the cost once, I grouped by PO order number.  But it is adding the two lines together, and I only want to show the cost once, do I need

It would be very nice to be able to add separate subprojects (Child) to a Main Project to be able to track total revenue.  These would be projects where a change order wouldn’t make sense.  Say a main development project (progress billing), a separate child project for reoccurring billing of a maintenance contract. and a separate child project for T&M Billing.  Each of these has different revenue recognition needs and occur on different billing schedules but It would nice to be able to roll them up for reporting.

Hello,No MRP.  Just repleneshments.On stock item I put Min max method.  reorder point of 2.  Max QTY of 500.There are 20 on hand.I run Prepare replenishments and nothing shows in the screen.I uncheck “Only suggested items” and every part shows including this one.  Why would it not be showing with “Only suggested items” checked? 

I’m looking to add a parameter on my sales order GI to filter by statuses, but instead of having all the database values as an option to select from and be limited to select only one value at a time I would like to create my own values (example, Group A, Group B,) and add a condition if Group A is selected than show the orders within these statuses and vise versa, so I can quickly shift my filter between Group A and B and see the relative information.any solution how this can be accomplished?

I’m trying to release some invoices that we imported during migration. However, I receive the below error. How can I activate migration mode on AP?   

Our company is changing from individual meal expenses to a Per Diem scenario.  The concept is that, as an employee submits a hotel receipt to confirm an out of town stay, they can then enter a Per Diem expense for each night of stay.  The Per Diem would be a set price (e.g. $10) and the employee would enter a quantity associated with the Expense Item or Per Diem (i.e. $10 x qty 3 nights = $30 total).  The hotel stay is charged to a corporate account, and the Per Diem would be associated with a personal expense so that it would be reimbursed to the employee.I had no issue creating the additional non-stock Expense item of Per Diem.  What I attempted to do was to was set a default price for the Per Diem item in hopes it would show up in the expense receipt entry of the phone app.  However it does not, it comes up with a 0 value that then needs to be entered.Is there any way of getting this to work as we desire, or does the expense process not pull price/cost info from the NS item?Note - W

Hi, Do we have a standard or customized report do generate from Acumatica, where we can see the breakdown of the Cost of Goods sold (COGS)? This report needs to have the direct costs (PO cost) and the indirect costs (Freight, Customer duty, SST, Demurrage, etc) separately?Example :  Or else, is there a way to record the indirect costs (From landed costs) to a separate GL account without including it in the Inventory account? Thanks in advance

Hi there - We are a construction company that is new to Acumatica.  Our employees recently started entering time into Acumatica through Employee Time Cards.  I am seeking feedback on what the appropriate workflow should be for releasing the time to ultimately post to the GL.   Right now our workflow is:→ Employee completes the Time Card → submits the Time Card for approval → Time Card is approved → we then “Process the Time Activity” via “Release Time Activities” → then Release the Project Transaction generated from the processed Time Activity.This process seems to work well for processing the time through to a Project and GL posting, but I’ve noticed that the Time Card remains in a “Approved” status rather than “Released”.   I suspect it may be that I am mixing the Time Card workflow with the Time Activity workflow and that I should “Release Time Cards” rather than “Process/Release Time Activity”.  If this is the case than I am additionally seeking guidance on what the difference is b

Hello, After reading Mark Franks’ article on custom themes (https://www.acumatica.com/blog/acumatica-customization-theming-white-labeling/), I was inspired and created my own theme. It works great on my local install but I’ve no idea how to package it up so that it can be installed on a remote instance. My theme is just a copy of the ‘Default’ theme with a few changes to the 00_controls.css file. I cannot see any obvious way to add the theme directory or css file to the customization package.Sadly the Mark Franks article doesn’t cover this topic and I’ve not managed to find a solution online. Does anyone know if it’s possible and how it should be done?ThanksSteve

Very new to this system so sorry for the dumb questions.I am packing a multi-box order and some how mid-packing the package got processed and I ended up starting a 3rd box. My bad.1- How do I remove product from the extra box, I tried the remove button but it keeps jumping to a different box and telling me No since the product is not in that box2- how do I remove the extra box, it is showing 3 when I only have 2.3- Is it possible to remove the box and ‘dump’ the contents in one move.Our old system had ‘unpack box’ and ‘remove box’ buttons. Thanks

Hi all, I wanted to create an Automation Schedule to release specific types of invoices. I would schedule it to the next minute when I test. I kept conditions simple as it is my initial test. I created a bunch of invoices with varying dollar amounts.This condition successfully released invoices with $0. However, after I deleted the “amount” condition trying to release the rest of the invoices, it would not release the rest of the invoices. Additionally, it shows “0 times executed” and shows no history when I click “view history,” even though I am 100% sure that the $0 invoices were successfully released.I could only release the rest of the invoices if I create a brand new automation schedule. After that, it will no longer work again. Please let me know if you have ran into similar issues, or I am just doing something wrong here. Any input is appreciated.

Hi All,I notice when I use the quick search and try to export an excel file, it only export from a certain fields while ignoring others. Example below:You can see I search for “FT” and items that contain FT in their product number or description would show.  However when I export to excel, only product number with “FT” is showing and it does not pull the item that have “FT” in description. What do I need to do in GI screen in order to enable the description field to be able to export to excel? Like what governs the field that will be export to excel?Kind regards,Calvin
