i have a client who is using task, item and cost code on their cost budget.  everything has it’s own description (task is filled out on the task tab of the project) however, when i add the cost code to the cost budget, the description inputs the cost code description, not the task description or the item description.  i was wondering if there was a way to change what description defaulted to that (ideally, i would like the inventory description to populate in the field): 

Hello,We are in the middle of implementation. How do people handle numbering of everything in the system?  We have always number things 1,2,3,4, etc.  But since Acumatica sorts numbers as text the numbering goes away.so now it sorts 1,10,100,2,20,200, etc. Does everyone go out to 0001,0002,0003,0004 or something along those lines?  We are running into this in inventory, construction task list, revenue codes, etc.Wondering why do numbers get sorted as text?

I’m working on a report to calculate the physical inventory count accuracy. I’m able to calculate the total number of lines counted, and how many of those lines had variances, but I would like to display the accuracy as a % value. I’m designing a custom form where I only need to show the product ID, production date and net weight. I need to show a barcode that shows the product ID and the net weight when the warehouse operators scan it. However, I couldn’t find a way to combine these two and get a working barcode. I’m quite new to this, could someone please tell me how to approach this?The form I designed lets the user input the net weight manually and the user gets to choose the production date and the product ID from the drop down menu.  P.S.: I’m okay with Code 39 or Code 128, either of those. Also, The [@InventoryID]+[@NetWeight] I set as the value of the barcode was taken from the parameters, and it’s not showing the correct results when scanned, It just shows IID+NW when I scan, instead of the values

I am trying to find a way to modify the "Specify Shipment Parameters" dialog (that displays when you click the "CREATE SHIPMENTS" action).I need to modify the default value for the Shipment Date. We have an issue with one Android phone and the mobile app where we get the error message “An error has occurred. Please try again or go back to previous screen.” when trying to create an appointment. When we close the error we get the error message “Something went wrong”On this phone we have done the following steps/troubleshooting:cleared the Acumatica Application Data and Cache - no change deleted the application and reinstalled - no change logged in as a different user - received the same error messages via a web browser, logged in as the phone’s user and no errors during processingAs the phone’s user we have logged in on another Android phone and did not receive the errors. We believe it to be an issue with this specific phone, that the Acumatica Mobile App does not like.Any ideas?  Thanks in advance for any brainstorming or experience you can share.    

Wondering if I could get some help generating ARM reports with the account and subaccount info expanded.  I have my ARM reports built utilizing account classes as the data sources so I don’t have to manually add every account number onto the reports when we create new accounts.  This has worked well until now when I need to get subaccount details under each account. When I expand data as SUB it does not break it down by account but just give me a total for each subaccount within that account class.  I think I could make this happen by manually adding a line on my row set for every account and a line for  subaccounts under that but I’m hoping there is an easier way that also wouldn’t require as much maintenance in future if we add accounts etc.

Does anyone know if there is a cloud based learning/testing environment or the only learning option is local pc installation?

On the Print Invoices and Memos screen, I want to override the email process.  I want to intercept the process where the invoice is being emailed and remove the PDF invoice from the email and add a custom PDF invoice that has been uploaded manually instead.The first step to try to do this is to find the delegate method to override when the processor is run.I am looking at the source code for the ARPrintInvoices graph for that screen.  I don’t see anywhere in that code where the process gets called.  I looked for other files in the PX.Objects.AR repository and I don’t see anything like “ARPrintInvoicesProcess” etc.Can anyone help me find the place in the code where I can override the processing delegate?  I think there are some cases in Acumatica where you don’t have access to certain code, but I’m hoping it is just because I don’t know where to find it. 

When generating production order from sales order, the production order is created, but the production number does not show up on the Sales Orders details section. It's showing <NEW>. This happens on all production orders generated from sales orders. How do I fix this?Thanks!

Hi all,In Business Accounts/Customers there is a shipping tab > FOBPoint. We would like this to automatically default to a specific location, but I think that requires a DAC extension (beyond my skill level at this point). For now, I was going to do an import scenario to update all accounts based on our preferred default in an excel file. So I created the data provider (excel), then my import scenario.In Import by Scenario, I hit prepare, and everything appears ok w/ the data provider because after ‘PREPARE’ the screen reports the proper number of records and displays the proper fields. After hitting import however, the IMPORT processes but then errors out.Here’s my import scenario:I know I got this twisted but having a rough time unraveling it. Hi,We have a client that only needs approvals for Project ID’s that begin with a P. However, when I create a Project ID that begins with a B it’s still requiring the approval workflow. Here are my conditions. How can I modify my conditions so it does not trigger the approval workflow when I create a project that begins with a B. Let me know.  

Anyone have any ideas what happened? It was working fine early last week but now none of the purchase order notification emails are processing and sending? Everything else is sending fine? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Can we customize the following pane in Acumatica. ? 

I created a GI with some advanced filters on top, however when I attach the GI as a side panel to another GI these advanced filters doesn't show up it just shows all items at once without these filters.is there anyway to have advance filters on side panels?

Hi we are looking at Acumatica as a new system, but a key thing was trying to get a feel for the system. i was wondering if there is a spin up of Acumatica, where i can get a feel for the system. Youtube video look good but dont really give the feel being hands on.

Hi Team, I’m trying to add column in FS305700 ( schedule tab) to display below TranDesc column from FS305100.  Irrespective of the entries, it should display only the first line of TranDesc. Can someone help here, how to achieve this.
