When I create a snapshot for the purpose of installing the snapshot in a sandbox or for an emergency back up, should I create an “XML” or a “Binary” snapshot? Which is the most appropriate or better? We are on 2022 R2 so soon moving to 2023 R2.

During the processing of bank feeds there was a transaction that we thought was a duplicate entry. The entry was “Hidden” by click the “Hide Transaction” on the Process Bank Transaction (CA306000) screen. It was then discovered that it wasn’t a duplicate and we need to now bring this transaction back so we can process it normally.Our question: Is there a way to view this hidden transaction and is there a way to “Unhide” this transaction?Thank you!

Hi there! Looking to get some guidance on task descriptions and how to properly make sure theyy show up correctly on revenue and cost budgets respectively.  Our tasks are of course shared between cost and revenue but they are not one for one.  We put the task descriptions in based on the cost side just to make it easier for the PM’s to code.. see below However, in the revenue budget I change the descriptions to match what my Schedule of Values is supposed to say:     When I go to run my project billing - they all revert and it causes a headache for the PM’s … can anyone help me fix this problem??

I've managed to implement functionalities like logging in, logging out, and retrieving data using the API and endpoints.Now, I'm looking to implement the "forgot password" feature. In Acumatica, this involves sending a password reset link to the user via email, allowing them to reset their password.I'm wondering if it's possible to achieve this password reset functionality through API calls or webhooks and is there is any specific way we can trigger the emails? I've checked the available endpoints, but I haven't come across any related to this specific feature.Please let me know if there is any way to do that.Thanks in advance.

HiI am wanting to do a mass update for a large number of purchase order lines, for a specific branch, to set them to “closed” = yes.I have created a generic inquiry, and was hoping to use the mass update functionality in it:  But my problem is that the fields that are available in the mass update tab, are only for the purchase order itself, and not the purchase order lines.  That’s not surprising, since I am not sending a unique identifier to the screen, for it to know which line to update.Is my only option here an import scenario?  And does anyone have an example for me of an import scenario where only transaction lines are being updated?

I have a customization that creates a CSV file and stores that as an uploaded file in Acumatica.Is there a way to automate so that when that file is created that it will automatically be downloaded to a shared folder?Alternatively, is there a way I can connect to Acumatica via web api and have my external web api connection automatically download a file?  (the file name varies based on the creation date)I tried setting Synchronization of File Maintenance, but that does not work the way I want it to.BTW, a second question is : In WHAT table are all uploaded files stored in Acumatica? Below is a screen shot I took of where I located the “name” of the files I want to automatically download from the [dbo].[UploadFile] table in Acumatica.  However, I do not know where those actual files are stored and how to pull them down in an automated way.  It is highlighted in the screen shot, and there are multiple files of this again, based on the date in the file name.(yes, I actually want to DL all

We have a scenario on hand.   Assume that we have a Template Item SKU as Parent001 with three combination SKUs as follows: Child001Child002Child003Each of these products is being sold at a base price of $20Next let us say on the Sales Prices screen we have defined a quantity break of 5 and a price of $16.  On the Sales Order, if we add Child001 with the quantity as 10, then the price reflects as expected to show it as $16 each.   Our customer has a requirement that if someone buys 3 qty of Child001 and another 3 qty of Child002, thus exceeding the break qty of 5 defined at the Template parent level, the Sales Prices should kick in since the discounted break qty price is based defined at the parent level.   Any thoughts here to achieve without a customization?   Thanks in advance !!!     

The customer has created one GI that stopped displaying the data of adjustment Qty “tranPtdQtyAdjusted” after disabling this field Include in Qty Available in the warehouse screen. Does this field have any relation to Table "InItemSiteHist" of storing issue and Adjustment qty?

Why has the ability to link 2 separate sales orders to 1 single purchase order been removed?We have many vendors that have a free shipping dollar amount threshold. We have many customers that send in multiple purchase orders throughout the day for the same product line.  Sometimes 2, 3, or even 4 separate orders.  We used to be able to take all the customer’s purchase orders, create sales orders, and link their sales orders to a single purchase order, place the order with the vendor and get free shipping for our customers.  We no longer can do this without making a workaround.The workaround is as follows and it is truly ludicrous to have to do:1. Create 3 separate sales orders for the customer’s purchase orders from the day​​​​​​​Put all the sales order line items onto 1 purchase order. Send the purchase order over to the vendor. “Break” apart the purchase order into 3 separate purchase order internally Re-link those new purchase orders to the separate purchase order HOPE that you can

Does anyone know if there is a report in Acumatica that will list any unreleased/pending bills and expense claims for a specific project? We have run into several situations where the Project Manager or CEO completes the project not knowing whether all costs have been posted/released to the project. I have to go back and look at the Automation Schedule History to see if anything has not released. Want to try and be proactive before the project is closed/completed.

We are moving from an older ERP to Acumatica. One of the things we had in our old system that when we printed a Work Order the printout would print to our Dot Matrix DFX-9000 and also print the WO confirmation onto our Canon iR-ADV. This is also the case with our remote locations as they would print a WO that would print to the dot matrix and also the local Canon. It would also in certain instances trigger a third print that would print the confirmation at head office as well. We have device hub setup with all the printers and everything works as long as it’s going to one printer. How would we trigger when certain reports are printed it also prints copies to different printers at the same time. For example Florida location prints a Work order to the dot matrix, once that happens it knows to trigger another report to print the confirmation to the Florida Canon and also the Canon in NY.This is the same for invoices, needs to print locally and at head office accounting as well. 

Cost Roll History by BOM ID provides cost information by Cost Roll date (although I do not like the fact that it rolls the total cost from subassemblies into the materials category for the finished goods).  Now my question: does anyone know how to view a Multi Level BOM Costed on a specific date.  Sure you can change the date in the report but that only pulls in the correct revision of the BOM ID, it does not retrieve the inventory id cost as of that date.  Am I missing something?  

I am new to Acumatica and am struggling to get a selector working in the purchase order screen. I want to add a customer field to the screen in the header area.  Hi all, I want to create Trial Balance by Period in ARM Report, but I have a problem with account Income and Liability, they show as plus sign then total beginning balance and ending balance not equal to 0.My purpose is to have a report exact data to Trial Balance Report (GL632000) and can filter from period to period. I have total debit and credit equal but my beginning balance and ending balance I expect it equal to 0.Can anyone help me solve this

There is an old video on the topic of Customer Refunds where the user goes through about five or six steps to issue a refund to a customer.  And it works great!  However, there were too many steps and Acumatica appears to have simplified the process in subsequent releases.So now, in my 2021 R2 demo database, when the credit memo is on the screen, there is an option on the ...More menu to REFUND the amount to the customer.  I’ve done that and I see a JE that shows AR was debited and Cash was credited but I don’t see where a check was actually issued to the customer.  I can’t find a pending payment in payables but the JE looks like is was processed as a check.The whole point of this exercise is to issue a refund check to the customer and I’m just not seeing it.  What am I missing here?

So it looks like move completed the WO, and then an employee closed the WO before the move was released. What should i do here… Error below: The WO WO128702 production order with the Closed status cannot be used in this process.
