Unreleased/Pending cost by Project

Does anyone know if there is a report in Acumatica that will list any unreleased/pending bills and expense claims for a specific project? We have run into several situations where the Project Manager or CEO completes the project not knowing whether all costs have been posted/released to the project. I have to go back and look at the Automation Schedule History to see if anything has not released. Want to try and be proactive before the project is closed/completed.

Hello,

I don’t think there is any one report in Acumatica that will detect unfinished (Unreleased, Balanced, Held) entries for a given project.  (You have a great idea!  Please add it to the Ideas section of Acumatica Community and post the link in this thread so we can vote!)

For now, the data you seek can be found in several places.  Each of these places could be added as a Side-Panel Option, connected to your Projects Screen or Projects Preview List.

  1. Employee Hours by Project & Task will show unreleased Time.

 

  1. Bill and Adjustment screen preview List, or AP Edit report (with small modification to add Project) will show you Unreleased documents that contain a certain project.
  1. Expense Claim Details report will show you Unreleased transactions for a project:
