Hello, I have a scenario where in the classic UI am able to add the Inventory ID Description Field for the Modern UI am unable to add the Inventory ID description Classic UIModern UI How to add Inventory ID description field to the Cost budget in Modern UI Please let me know

Having a tough time getting the Purchase Receipts to default the Warehouse and Location.  It is defaulting the warehouse but the location just shows <Split> and won’t fill in the default from the Item Warehouse Record.Here’s the scenarios:When doing a Purchase Receipt you have multiple options to enter the Detail Lines on the Receipt.<Enter Receipt> from the PO Screen – this builds the Receipt entry from the PO and does all the settings.  Detail Lines to not have a Default Location.  They do have a Default Warehouse   Manual Entry – this seems to work properly when you enter the Detail line with Inventory ID, the Warehouse and then the Location Defaults from the Item Warehouse default Receiving Location   On a Manually Created PO Receipt – select the <Add PO> button which will show a list of POs from this Vendor which you can select and will fill the Detail Lines – no Default Location.  They do have a Default Warehouse   On a Manually Created PO Receipt – select the &

I have created a generic inquiry that shows customer history.  The GI is from the GL Tran table and I have included an image below of the tables involved in the GI.  The GI works when installed into the side panel of another GII have tried two different ways to install it into the customization project for our Sales Orders.  One time as a Navigation Search Records so that it would come up as a choice under the three dot elipse, and one time as a Navigation Side Panel.   I have published the customization and recieved messages saying it was sucessfull.  I did not however choose to publish all customizations and dont know if that is a required step.  However, you will see in the screen below the status of my actions is new whilc previously published ones are inherited.   Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Good day. I’m having an issue with my subreport. When I use the reference number range (from and to), it only retrieves the first reference number, and all the results end up being the same.  and this is what i put on my SubReport  

I had an employee create a bad Vendor Location ID. This ID was used in a transaction, so I can’t delete it. I need to change the Location ID code to something no one will ever use.I have inactivated it, but import scenarios bypass that status and bring them in as a vendor location to stock items etc. So how do I change this ID to something else inside of Acumatica?Thank you!

Is there anyway out of the box to have subtotals show up on the AIA Continuation Sheet for the Original Contract and then the Change Orders? This is what our AIAs looked like out of our old system:Thanks!

Hi there, We recently completed an update to our Acumatica to  2025 R2, and I noticed a change in the search functionality.Before the update, we were able to enter a Vendor ID in the search bar and retrieve results that included the Vendor ID. However, after the update, the search bar only returns results based on Vendor Name or Description, and no longer recognizes Vendor ID.I also checked the Demo company, where searching by Vendor ID still appears to work as expected.Has anyone experienced this issue or knows how to restore the ability to search by Vendor ID?Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello,       We are planning to upgrade our server from Windows Server 2016 to Windows Server 2019 and deploy Acumatica on the new server. After all tests are passed, the final step is to install the license on the new instance.     My question is, if I delete the license on the old server instance and install the same license on the new server instance, this should be OK, right? This should not bring any issues?

We just upgraded to 2025 R2. Now we are having issues with service orders/appointments linked to projects.We start the Project in the Construction Module. We create the ‘Project Billing’ Service Order for the same customer and try to link it to the project.It will not allow us to save the service order linked to the project, giving us this message.“Error: Another process has updated the 'FSAddress' record. Your changes will be lost.”I’ve tried to chase this back, but running out of ideas. Has anyone else had this problem or have any thoughts on in?Thanks in advance!

Hey, gang - I’ve got a client who uses Project Quotes extensively.  It’s not common but they have some quotes that require 1000+ estimation lines.  One thing they became accustomed to with the Classic UI was the ability to right click + insert. However, with the Modern UI, there is no longer any Acumatica-specific right click options, just the browser options.  I’ve tested this in both Edge and Chrome and got the same result.  Is there a way around this?  Something I’m missing?  Thanks!

 Here’s our issue since upgrading to 2025 R2: This invoice is giving us the strange error message ‘SO Error: The document is out of the balance.We understand the part about the project budget being exceeded. This is simply because of different model numbers being used in the quote that what are being used in this purchase order/bill.We’ve already selected “Allow Adding New Items on the Fly” in the project settings.The document appears to be in balance to me. Any thoughts?

Has anyone ever done a customisation to Enable Pay By Line to work for Sales Invoices generated from Sales Orders. Acumatia does not support it and am wondering why they did not allow it. 

Hello,We would like to know what are the options (and costs involved, if any) to have access to a Sandbox Accumatica instance where we can develop and test integrations via web API calls. It would be like a NFR licenses companies use to offer to development partners.We don't plan to sell any specific Acumatica plugins or applications but only to provide consulting services for companies already using Acumatica and demanding integrations with other platforms.Also, we don't want to be reseller or a company that implements Acumatica so I think ISV level partnership isn't necessary.Thank you,Fernando.

We are working on a custom form/workflow to print the Pick List (SO642000) and Packing Slip (SO644000) via a processing form to DeviceHub. The problem we are having is that for some reason, devicehub will print these out of order.If I don’t print to devicehub it is combining the reports and will show them in a single window. Both are set to use PDF. When this goes to devicehub it prints each report as a separate job and then often they are no longer in order.Is there a way to 1) get this combined report to print as a single job on devicehub or 2) have better control of what order devicehub is printing in? In 2024R1, the help indicates that a credit card payment method can be used to with the Cash Sales sale order type.  But when I add a credit card payment method to the order, I get a blocking error stating the credit card payment method is not supported by the Cash Sales order type.  Is the help incorrect?

The Customer Order Nbr should list all customer orders (POs) rather than leaving it blank. Does anyone know of a way to make this work?  I can’t find anything in preferences to control this. Of course we can do a customization and/or business event.. but it seems this should be standard.Ideas?  Thanks!  

My client had to run the Tax Maintenance this week and there are now blank rows, the Values don’t have dropdowns and for example the Select Filing Status was Single, Married Filing Jointly, Married Filing Separately and Head of Household, but now everyone updated to an “S” with no options:Is anyone else experiencing this issue? 

Hey, gang - I’ve got a client set up to recognize revenue for a fixed price project with periodic billing that needs to recognize 100% of the revenue at the end of the project, but I’m curious as to what the best practice is in the likely scenarios when  The project is complete and the actual cost(s) do not meet the corresponding budgeted amount(s) and The opposite situation where the actual costs exceed the budgeted amounts.Respectively, what would be the most effective process for recognizing the balance of unrec’d revenue and also setting limits on how much revenue can be recognized?  Thank you in advance!
