    I am currently developing Modern UI. After I edit a page each time, I need to publish the project to see the effect. If I find something wrong, I have to modify it and republish. My local computer configuration is quite good (I9 + 32GB), but I still feel that publishing every time is a waste of time. Is there a quick preview method available?

After upgrading from Acumatica 24R1 → 26R1, I’m now getting these errors when using POFixedDemand:The type name 'recordID' does not exist in the type 'POFixedDemand'The type name 'orderType' does not exist in the type 'POFixedDemand'The type name 'orderNbr' does not exist in the type 'POFixedDemand'The type name 'lineNbr' does not exist in the type 'POFixedDemand' I couldn’t find any mention of this in the developer release notes for 24R2 through 26R1.  Does anyone know if the class was extended or where there fields went? 

I recently noticed somewhere that you can add {br} to an expression in Report Designer to add a line break. I’m curious what else you can do like that within the expression editor, however I can’t find any documentation on this functionality. Does anyone know if this is documented anywhere and, if so, where that is or what other things you can do like this?I’m just curious what else I might be missing because I’m trying to format a field, but trying to format different parts of the field different ways (in Report Designer you can apply formatting changes to an entire textbox but cannot make formatting changes to substrings within the textbox as far as I know). So I was just curious if that could potentially lead me to anything that could help.For example, I have a large textbox with this data (see below). I have a question about Report Designer templates.  It can be very time consuming to create a new report from scratch.  I’d like to be able to better utilize the templates that are already built inside Acumatica.  But, it’s hard for me to quickly scroll through them to get a feel for what the design and layout look like, without already being familiar with the report.  Does something exist where you can see images of the prebuilt Acumatica Report designs along with a reference to the specific report number? This would decrease the time of report design immensely.  

Has anyone successfully used the AI Assistant in 26R1 beta? I obtained a license key for it and am able to access the assistant, but when I ask it questions it just spins. Things I tried:Opened browser console and found this error: Warning: No client method with the name 'usermessagesent' found.Cleared browser cache.Exposed a GI to AI Assistant, then located AI Assistant Data Processing screen (ML503010) to process it. Got the error in screenshot below. Is AI Assistant not intended to work in beta version?  

We are setting up a BigCommerce site that uses BundleB2B and syncs with Acumatica via the Connector.My issue is getting the Acumatica sales order number to sync over and display in BigCommerce.  All of our interaction with our customers (and our customers to us) use Acumatica’s sales order number.When an order is created in BigCommerce, it syncs over to Acumatica just fine.  I would like to set up a way for the Acumatica sales order number to sync back to BigCommerce, to its “External Order ID” field in Orders.  However, it does not look like the Acumatica Sales Order field is available for mapping/syncing in the Connector.This is very important to our implementation of ecommerce.  Our customers must be able to view their orders in BigCommerce with the Acumatica sales order number.Has anyone else with this requirement run into this issue?  How did you resolve it?Thanks -GenData 

Hi,We are trying to filter a field in an Acumatica dashboard through the URL, but we do not see any possibility of achieving this. Could you please confirm if there is a way to accomplish this? Example: We have a custom dashboard called Production Status with a parameter Work Center. Through the URL, we would like to filter the dashboard to show only WC100. Is there a supported method to apply such parameter-based filtering via URL? Thanks

How are you getting variable outside service costs back to your production orders?I am struggling to come up with a usable process for outside service/process management. We use several outside processes and depending on service, product mix, quantity, etc. they have different costs. We may use a quote from the vendor or base our cost on price lists. Acumatica does not seem equipped to deal with this scenario.Please feel free to skip over my specific attempts, and share how you have managed to get varied outside process costs onto your production orders.What I’m looking for, and the problems I am running into:To enter planned cost and quantity needed onto a production order operation subcontract material Can’t set quantity needed and batch size when Subcontract Source is set to Purchase and Move - even when my outside service is traded in a different unit than my production is producing. Hi,I would like some help with following scenario.I’m getting sales orders via an integration. Prices are agree with the external party, and the same is defined on the sales prices form. There are promotional prices as well as standard prices. I want to check and notify if the price entered via the integration is not agree with the sales prices. I’m trying to make a GI to show the sales order when the applicable price is not equal to the SO price. Having challenges in finding the applicable price when there are promotional prices. That is because the system shows the each price in the sales prices as rows which makes unable to compare.Have you done something similar of have any ideas to overcome this?Thank you,Dulanjana

I am trying to remove one of the warehouses from a stock item. The form toolbar has the delete button greyed out. Hi, I have data on spreadsheet to import into Notes field where there should be multiple lines in the note. The data contains \r\n characters which are correct characters to use when importing data. However the characters appear to be stripped during import. The workaround is to alter the data in the spreadsheet replacing \r\n with CrLf (just some other text), then in the Import formulae Replace(<text>,’CrLf’,’\r\n’) which then imports as expected. Does this make sense to have to do this ?

Hi, we have a client who’s using Device Hub and they are asking us to add a printer as another option in Acumatica in Default Printer. I have not configured a DeviceHub before, but I need to do it for our client. I checked the Wiki on adding a printer but it says that I need to configure it in device hub first.My question is, do I need to configure it on my end or they need to configure adding the printer on Device Hub and then I can update the printer list in Acumatica?

Hi All, in the modern UI when you click the Filter Settings button, it doesn't open the Filter Settings dialog box at all, as expectedly on normal functioning.had to switch to Classic UI, for that particular form any time i need to open that Filter Settings. just wanna find out if this case is unique to me, or is a widely known issue with the Modern UI?thanks!  

Say a customer record has multiple salespersons assigned to the same Location ID (on the Salespersons tab).Is it possible to configure an import scenario to delete a specific line based on BOTH the Salesperson ID and the Location ID?Example:Salesperson A // Location ASalesperson B // Location ASalesperson C // Location ASalesperson A // Location BSalesperson B // Location BSalesperson C // Location B If I wanted to delete the Salesperson B // Location B line from the Salespersons tab, how would I configure an import scenario to do so?

Hi all, There was a related topic regarding @BaseRowCode to calculate the percentage of a subtotal. I have attempted to assign a Base Row Code from Net Revenue for the subtotals; however, the values are still appearing as blank.For reference, I followed the guidance from the “Profit and Loss - Line Percentage to Total” community post.Profit and Loss - Line Percentage to Total | Community  I have also attached a snippet of my Row Set for review.  I would appreciate any guidance on where this may have been set up incorrectly. Hi All,I have been struggling to find the table link that will let me list all of the attributes that are listed on an Item Class.The INItemClass table has this beautiful field called ItemClassStrID which is a direct match to the EntityClassID on the CSAttributeGroup table.Using this relation would solve all my problem, but the ItemClassStrID field isn’t available to use as a relation data field.Does anyone have a GI that lists the Attributes on an Item Class?Thank You!

Is it possible to install the outlook add-in for a shared mailbox? I have it installed for my inbox, but it’s much more useful if I can access from the shared mailbox. When I click the inbox for the shared mailbox, the add-in disappears from the ribbon. 

I’m running Acumatica for my manufacturing and field service.  We have the Field Service module.  On some Service Orders and Appointments, we have items that production needs to Manufacture and Ship before the Field Service tech can be dispatched to the jobsite. For instance, the customer orders a pump. We have to manufacturer the pump, then deliver the pump, then once it’s delivered, Field Service needs to dispatch a guy via an Appointment to start up the pump.  We have the manufacturing and delivery part down 100%, and we have the service order and appointment part down 100%, but we can't figure out how to marry the 2.  I need a good way to get from “the delivery is confirmed, the product is on site” to “we need to dispatch a service guy by creating the appointment and putting the appointment on someone's staff calendar”.  I can’t put the manufactured item on the service order because then I can’t then create a shipment, so we put a service item on the Sales Order and mark it Appoint

I am having issues getting the insert new record button to show up on an entry point GI that is for a custom screen. I have the “Enable new record creation” button checked. I have insert or delete access but it still doesnt show up. I saw this post in the community that says to look in the hidden folder, but there isnt anything about my screen or GI in the hidden folder. I had issues with it not showing up on another screen i made but it randomly showed up. this one hasnt shown up yet. I tried restarted the application and logging out and back in. I also tried unclicking the “Enable new record creation” and then selecting it again. so far, nothing i have done has made it show up. Does any one have any ideas how to make it show up? 

 I have an order type LS, which is allowed to quick process (confirm shipment and create an invoice) When I press the button manually, it works as expected; then, I want to set up a business event that will auto-quickly process if the order type equals LS and the status is open.  But it’s not working; the system shows “button OK is disabled”.  If I remove this action and keep only  the “ press quick” action, the sales order only creates a shipment but does not confirm or create an invoice. Can you help me find out what I am missing? 

I’m planning to migrate custom screens to Modern UI in 2025R2 and want to confirm:Has the Modern UI architecture been finalized in 2025R2? Are there no major disruptive changes planned for 2026R1/R2? If I complete all Modern UI customizations in 2025R2, can I upgrade directly to 2026R2 later without needing to redo these customizations in 2026R1 first?
