Hello!I want to create leads using Excel import and I’m required to update the Lead information with the contact information if Contact is given for the lead. Also, I’m using the import scenario provided by the standard. But the scenario does not pick the Contact ID and auto fill the information, instead it requires all the fields to be entered using the excel. Is there any way that I can update information of contact in the lead using the excel?Thank You!

I’m trying to make an import scenario that will update individual lines on a sales order to set the requested ship date to a date further in the future. The issue I’m having is the scenario will only add a line to the order instead of updating the corresponding line despite using linenbr and InventoryID as custom keys. I did have a working scenario like this previously before updating to our current Acumatica version (2023r1 build 23.115.0031) so I’m wondering if there was a change or something related to this functionality? Or am I missing something else? 

Hello, I am trying to troubleshoot an Import Scenario where we are updating all of our Vendor ID’s. We’ve been able to successfully complete this in a Test environment, but for some reason I am unable to in our production instance. Any assistance would be appreciated! We have a custom import scenario that uses the “Specify New ID” target object. In Test environment, it works as intended - updating only the Vendor ID.In Production, we’ve replicated the scenario, and the import reports it completed successfully and with no errors, but the Vendor ID remains unchanged.What am I missing from the scenario in order to update the IDs? 

Hi, I'm encountering an issue when importing sales orders using the import scenario. I receive an error if the project task is marked as the default task for the project.However, if I untick the default task option, the import scenario works fine and successfully imports all the sales orders.   Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Thanks

I have a client currently who does Vendor Pricing and they need to update sometimes over 100,000 records. I know this isn’t feasible with the Price Worksheets as they have a limitation. I am looking to see what others have done to get around the limitation in Acumatica. Obviously using the Vendor Prices is not ideal because it would take too long to update.  Thank you!

Hello,I am configuring security settings for different user roles and we are limiting a role to be able to create a PO from an SO only. IE: They can not create a PO from “Create New PO” button and cannot order things to stock. They can only order a PO from an SO.They need to be able to update the Ship-To Address and for some reason the Ship-To Contact is allowing the override but the address is not. The checkbox will allow me to check it and then it will auto deselect without opening up any of the fields to be edited. See the GIF below for what I mean.I have tried going into the Override button directly and given the maximum security setting allowed for the button and that still does not work. I am not sure why the Contact override would work and the Address would not. Any help is appreciated -- Thank you!!  

Looking for assistance on importing information to vendor details tab on stock item screen. There could be multiple data scenarios, and I can’t seem to get the import to work for them all. Possible scenarios:Add vendor detail to item with zero vendor details currently Add vendor detail to item with existing vendor detail (vendor is different vendor from existing) Updating vendor ID on existing vendor detail line Combo of adding a new vendor line and updating an existing within the same importImport Scenario Setup and Outcomes:This import accomplishes adding to a record that has zero vendor details currently. I imported two lines with different vendors, and it imported both and marked the second instance as the default. This import also works with adding a new vendor detail line to the record. Hello,I am trying to remove a lot of my Sales Prices that has an expiration date 01/31/2024, I am trying to create an import scenario to expire them unfortunately not working. Any tips on the above would be greatly appreciated. 

We are transferring inventory from a non-project to a project within the same warehouse (same location). The quantity is moving correctly, but the cost is not following — instead, it's being posted to the PPV (Purchase Price Variance) account.Later, when we invoice the project (sales invoice), revenue is booked, but no cost appears, resulting in inaccurate margin reporting.Has anyone faced a similar issue? Could this be related to how the project account groups or inventory posting classes are set up? The  cost is not getting capitalized into the project correctly during the transfer.Would appreciate feedback or best practices for handling inventory transfers into projects to ensure costs are correctly posted and reflected in project billing/COGS.

hi Guys, I am working on report and everything looks perfect the only problem is when i exporting into excel the Order QTY values disappeared from the column.  I am only tring to export two Columns other is working fine but this OrderQty is not showing any data in the excel but present in reports.  Before that it was like this i only changed the order columns  

I have been given a request to add an extra field to a “Production Order Material Summary” GICurrently the GI will display a summary of all the materials that were used in a Production Order. But my coworker wants, on that same GI, to also have a link to that Production Order number that the Material was created from. For example, we blend powder through a production order, then that powder is used as material for a Packaging Production Order. And they would like to have a link back to the creation of the material.  I attached my current GI, I have seen duplicate Data Sources before, but I have never used them myself. I assume I would need a second AMMTran to pull the creation transaction. But I have no idea how to relate it to the material instead of the Production Order that the material was consumed in. Any Help would be much appreciated. 

We have a repair facility where we need to start with a repair quote (RQ) and move to an Repair Order (RO) once we receive authorization to proceed with repair from customer.  I need to open a production order on the Quote as I need to post labor right away for the evaluation.  When I start in quote, the mark for production box is grayed out. We are currently on release 2024 R2. Do I have a setting wrong?  Is this even possible?  Will the production move from quote to order properly?  Anyone doing something similar that has come up with a way to do this or a work around?

Hello, Is their an easy way to automatically calculate a 20% surcharge on the sales order / invoices in Acumatica.  We do not want to update our all prices if Trump reduces the Tariffs soon.Currently we created a item called SURCHARGE and manually calculate the 20% tariff surcharge. Thanks!

Hello,I am able to successfully log in after setting up the new system email and external application in Acumatica.  They have 2 factor authentication and as I said, I was able to do the initial sign in from Acumatica.  When I hit TEST of the system email it fails with this message. Any thoughts?  

We are receiving this error after upgrading from 23r1 → 24r2.  I have removed the device associated to the user and reinstall the mobile app.  No change…Thanks,Brett  

As Controller, I am looking for credit memos to hit a different GL than my sales.  I have been informed that Acumatica cannot do this.  I don’t believe it.  Can someone please direct me how to do this?  Second, I have items that are not inventory related and would like to direct those sales to ‘Other Sales’.  Can someone help with that?Regards,

I created a template for adding specific line items to a sales order. When the line items are added, I want the Manual Price flag to be unchecked. I marked the manual price flag as False in the template. However, when the template is applied, the manual price checkbox is marked as true.

Hi, I have a customisation that is attempting to prevent duplicate lot numbers from being scanned on the mobile App (IN301020) and Receipts (IN301000)  INReceiptEntry is overriden to throw an exception whenever:There is a lot number already persisted to the database, or The Lot number already exists on the unpersisted receipt.Condition a. works as required.  The screen shot below shows the outcome of attempting to scan lot # 1234 which already exists in the database.The error message is in the header, and this is visible when using the mobile App.However condition b. behaves differently,  1234z doesn’t exist in the database.  On fist scan it gets added.No problem there.  However when scanned again, the error messaging is appearing on the line, instead of the header.The issue I have is that this error messing isn’t visible on the Mobile App.  What I’m looking to acheive is to have an error message display on the header when condition b. ocurrs.In terms of the cusomisation, there is a Fe

Hi everybody,our customer rents out heavy machinery and it regularly happens that he receives a sales order from a daughter company of a big client. Our client then creates the shipping order and ships out the item to the daughter company.At the end of the billing period, our client has to create the invoice NOT for the daughter company, but to a specified leasing/financial company (also owned by the big client).One way would be to just change the billing address, but that is not what our client wants (for various reasons).Is there any possibility to do that in Acumatica without a customization?Thank you for your help!
