Hi Acumatica Community! anyone know how to best handle this scenario? Item A is stored as a kitted item. But it's sold as component as Item B. When looking at on hand qty, is there a way to count Item A's inventory as part of Item B?

From what I know, there is no way to get this information using out-of-the-box screens or forms. It’s possible through customization to calculate and display this information in the needed screen, but potentially it might be possible to get through a custom report made in Report Designer as well.

If item A is defined in the "Kit Specifications" screen with details of Component Qty. I think it is possible to create a new Report Designer and use the calculation formulas to get the desired result.
