Hello,

I am trying to remove a lot of my Sales Prices that has an expiration date 01/31/2024, I am trying to create an import scenario to expire them unfortunately not working.

Any tips on the above would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Kandy Beatty we currently have 13,095 sales prices with 1/31/2024 Expiration Date. We need to delete or update that expiration date.

I am also wondering why I can’t edit the expiration date here

HI @bernadeth58

Try clicking the Promotional checkbox.

Hi @bernadeth58

How many line items is it? You could just simply use the excel upload on the Sales Price Worksheet. Give an expiration date on the Worksheet as well.

Hi,
How can I update the price expiration date using the Sales Price Worksheets without ticking the Promotional box?

I’m curious if anyone has managed to build an import scenario or GI with mass actions to allow for mass-deleting rows on the Sales Prices list?

We do not want to expire existing records but in fact delete the rows - This can be done 1-by-1 from the Sales Prices (AR202000) screen so long as you remember to hit save. You can also zoom way way out and using shift to select multiple records delete 100+ records at a time, progressing page-by-page

Any chance someone has an easier/faster way? Shouldn’t we be able to do this from an import scenario or mass action on a GI? I can’t seem to access AR202000 as an entry screen on a GI and I don’t see delete row as an action when trying to create an import scenario

Am I missing something?

I am receiving this same request from more and more clients, so I revisited it today.

I noticed that each sales price has a record ID in the database so I created a GI to use to select the sales prices that I needed to delete and then export that to Excel.

Then created an import scenario to delete the sales prices in the Excel sheet by RecordID per below.

I have also attached a basic GI and the Import Scenario based on 2024 R2 Sales Demo data for reference and to modify and use at your own risk! 😀

For those looking for a quick solution to bulk expire Sales Prices using built-in functions:

On the Sales Prices screen, use the provided fields and filters to narrow down the list to the Sales Prices you want to bulk expire.  Click Create Price Worksheet.  On the new worksheet, set the Effective Date for two days in the past and the Expiration Date for one day in the past.  Click Remove Hold and then Release.  You are done.

An optional step is to use Calculate Pending Prices > Price Adjustment to set all Pending Prices to 0.00 (0% of Source Price)Another optional step is to use Calculate Pending Prices > Price Adjustment > Decimal Place > Update with Zero Price if Basis is Zero - check that box to avoid errors you will encounter if you have items that already have a 0.00 price.
