Hi Everyone, We have some generic inquiries that were published with view only access to some users.  At times, it seems like the parameters on the inquiries malfunction and are read-only.  It seems that changing the access to Delete on the generic inquiry resolves this, but I want to understand if this is by design or is a bug and what the best practices are for permissions on published generic inquiries.  It doesn’t seem to me that assigning Delete permission on a GI has any potential issues with data being modified since the user would need the appropriate actions on the underlying screens (I believe), but looking for some confirmation here.Thanks,Mike

I’m starting in on code customizations with this simple project, but I don’t know how to do the last step. In brief, I have added a PXDBScalar field to an SOShipment extension which pulls in the External Status field from SOShipmentCarrierData. The code displays correctly (C, S, or N), but I would like it to show the more user-friendly descriptions of ‘Completed’, ‘Workbench Processing’, or ‘Not Submitted’ respectively. Is there a way to have that display instead of the underlying code? Context:The goal is to have the PaceJet processing Status visible on the Process Shipments screen (SO503000) so that we can distinguish between shipments which have finished processing in the external carrier and those which have not; We don’t want to prepare invoices on shipments which have been confirmed but not fully packed through PaceJet.To accomplish this, I extended SOShipment with a Scalar value using the following code (adjusting the code from another post)public class SOShipmentExt : PXCacheEx

Hello,I want to add some data fields to the fop of the project form, but I am not sure where to get the data.  I figured out how to add the data in a customization project, but I am not sure where to get the data.  Any suggestions on how to find the following data? I want to add 3 columns, one for current totals, pending AR and Pending APCurrent Totals AddActual Subcontract AmountUnreleased RetainageOpen Amount duePending ARPending invoice amountPending RetainagePending amount duePending APPending APPending SubcontractsSimilar to this, a financial summary tab would also be nice, almost a dashboard page.This data would be nice because non-financial literate people can see the status of the project, is retain still released, etc.  When working through payments, there is a lot of time we have pending subcontracts for approvals, its a good way to see what is sitting out waiting for approval.  Gives a better read of the project. Thanks for the help!

In the course of attempting to add an unbound field to the grid of the ‘Critical Materials’ screen (CriticalMaterialsInq), what should have been a simple task turned into much more. Using the REST API I need to know which is the first record (chronologically) of JournalTransaction. That is, the one with the eldest CreatedDateTime.How can I get that? What's the default ordering of that collection? Can I do something like sort + top=1?

Has anyone had this situation and how did you resolve it?Customer sends us a forecast for the year, by item.  They are going to buy $1,200,000 of product in the year 2025.  The distribution is $100,000 per month estimated spend.  We also want to compare what they said they forecast to actual spend (invoices).  This becomes a rolling 12-month forecast so it can span multiple calendar years. In late February they tell us they want to change the forecast and move the $50,000 for March to April.  April now becomes $150,000.  

I recently got Microsoft Surface Laptop. I planned to install Acumatica local but then i started to see error messages when installing SQL server. I found that the process Snapdragon(R) X 10-core X1P64100 @ 3.40 GHz   3.42 GHz is not compatible to install SQL server. Any suggestion or alternate way to install Acumatica and SQL?

We recently switched to Acumatica Pay/Fortis and are now receiving an error for invoices that have >99 items.  We had a similar error with Avalara and they had to update their hardcode to Allow us more line items, is the solution with Acumatica similar? Please advise how we can resolve this.

Does anyone have a matrix they’d like to share with me that deciphers what you can do with Single Tenant multi branch but cannot accomplish with Multi Tenant?  (and vice versa) Ex:  2 different tenants under the same URL (multi tenant); Company A enters ap bills; Company B cannot pay those bills that were entered in Company A. Ex:  2 different branches under the same tenant (single tenant); Branch A enters ap bills; Branch B can pay those bills that were entered in Branch A.  (and I think the same applies with single tenant using companies) Thanks 

Hi Everyone,In a Single Tenant Multi Company Environment, I’m trying to create a row-level security for item restrictions based on the item classes. Wherein company A will have visibility to all other item classes and related items and Company X will have access only to the X item class and items created for through the same class. Based on row level security set up in Inventory Item Access form (Referred document:  https://help.acumatica.com/(W(330))/Wiki/ShowWiki.aspx?pageid=09c9c94d-1707-4e24-bb2c-29343e18864f) I was successfully able to restrict the item visibility for the companies as shown below. However when creating orders i can still see all other items in the tenant.Have I missed any steps during configurations? or otherwise, how can I ensure that the user will only be able to select from the list of items restricted to the user? Thank you in advance!

Hi Acumatica Support,Is there a way to tag a limitation of Warehouse Capacity?For example, Warehouse A is limited to 100 KG     When in Warehouse A, Item 1 has 50 KG                                          has Item 2 with 40 KG      When we receive an additional 30 KG for Item 3, the system will warn that this item will exceed capacity.Thank you!  

I want to map workgroup from company tree with customer directly. In employee we can map to company tree workgroup but customer module cannot find where to map workgroup. Can we make or not ?Because I want to configure approval in sales orders I see this  

I am working on an implementation that involves Non stock items on Sales Orders.There are two workflows involved Counter sales and Project Sales.We have 2 different order types setup; one with Invoicing for Counter sales and one WITHOUT  Invoicing for Project sales (material issue only).The system is set to assign the cost on sales.It appears that the cost side of the transaction gets generated when the Invoice is processed, si this works for the Contract Sales.For Project Sales order no cost transaction are ever created.How do I get the cost of the nonstock item to hit the project without Invoicing?.There was a change in the Service module that seems to have address this process for a service Order and this functionality seems to be missing from the Sales Order workflow  

Hi there,I’m trying to create an import scenario for SM204002.I cannot obtain the number associated with the Email Account ID for the import to work. “EmailAccountID” is the key field, however, it is stored as an integer. My attempt at creating a GI to pull this information only reveals the Account Name. To illustrate, in the second screenshot below, looks Acumatica requires the integer, rather than the name displayed.  Yet when a GI is created, no integer is provided, only the Account Name  How do I go about obtaining the integer key field for my import EmailAccountID?

I have just upgraded my Acumatica to the 2024 R2 version (24.204.0004) and I am having trouble viewing one of my customization projects. When I click on the project on the ‘Customization Projects’ page the popup window appears and spins for about 30-45minutes until some of the project details appear but then it continues to spin for 30+minutes (I still haven’t been able to fully load this project in the popup window).This customization project is pretty large but in the past it has only taken 3-5minutes to fully load. Is there a reason why this is taking longer with the 2024 R2 version or are there any methods to diagnose this issue? Any help/suggestions are highly appreciated!

Hey Acumatica community,I wanted to share a quick but important tip for anyone customizing reports using Report Designer and struggling with filters — especially when filtering by Order Status fields like POOrder.OrderStatus.🎯 Problem:I tried to filter my Purchase Order report to show only Open orders by adding this filter in Build Schema → Filters: but the report didn’t return anything. It turns out, Acumatica uses internal code values, not the visible labels you see on screen!✅ Solution:To filter by Open POs, you need to use the correct code:🔍 How to Find Status Codes in General Inspect Element in Acumatica. and check the status field. then look for dropdown values.  Hope this helps someone avoid a few hours of confusion like I had 😅Cheers!

We recently learned about the “Automatic Packaging” feature in Acumatica.  We want to learn about it before we implement it.  We would greatly appreciate any suggestions about where we can learn about Automatica Packaging and the ways it can be set up and configured. We are on 2024 R2 and will be moving to 2025 R1 soon. 

Hi,  I recently was working on a way to pull productivity data from Acumatica. Specifically during Overtime shifts.Display Only "Time" in a GI, not Date. | Community However, this became quite the rabbit hole and I tried to find another direction.So I wanted to start a new question and see if anyone has any experience with this. I noticed the Work Calendar screen in Acumatica, and hoped it might help me.So I created a Work Calendar Schedule for Overtime hours like this:  I was hoping I could pull this into my Move transaction summary GI so that I could maybe have a checkbox check if the transaction was done during the Overtime Calendar Hours. Or even if I could display the Calendar ID if the transaction happened within that calendar.   However, I am struggling to get this information to pull into my GI correctly, I started another GI to just get the times to display, however it gives me this random date and does not help me in this regard.   Does anyone have any Ideas on this? Hi! I'm using the shopify connector to sync template items from Acumatica to Shopify. I know I can sync the template item and matrix item at once by just syncing the template item but I added an image URL on the matrix item under Media URLs but it's not syncing the image when I sync the template.
