Hi All,I am trying to get my generic inquiry to do two things that I am not understanding… Grouping the items from the bom into a grouping in some way so that it doesn't look like i need the same weldment 36 times Also, this is what it is generating when the BOM i am working with is  It seems to be changing the work center on the second operation and is doubling how many times it is showing it.  Any suggestions are helpful at this point or if more screenshots are needed please let me know!

Hello - we recently implemented the Ecommerce edition to our existing distribution edition  to connect with our Shopify store.  We do not have any 3rd party integrations for calculating tax in Acumatica as most of our business runs B2B, so we manually set up Tax ID’s and zones and apply them whenever necessary.One area that we do have to charge taxes in via web sales.  For most states, we are only dealing with a single flat rate per state.  However, there are a few states, like California, where you are charging State + County + Local in some cases.Shopify handles this as 3 distinct API calls, as opposed to a single calculation of tax and a pass to Acumatica.I’ve tried to do some mapping to change all the incoming tax rate names from Shopify to match up with my associated rates in Acumatica, but with this being 3 calls in the example above, it seems like Acumatica wants to add 3 rows with the same Tax ID name, which it obviously can’t do/will error.I know you can build out more robust

Our client would like to Create a Sales Order then Select a po to link to and have all items on the PO come back onto the Sales Order.   We understand how to do this line by line.   They may have 30 line items on the PO and dont want to have to enter 30 line items on the Sales order and then link each line by line.   Is there a way to do this? 

Good day,The user entered a CO with a quantity of 1 and an amt.  However, the Task associated with the non-stock item showed only the amount.  When we ran the Project Billing the invoice only showed the amount without a quantity so the invoice was incorrect by the amount. I can’t see why the issue that caused the issue.  the CO was correctly entered.  See the Revenue Tab below.  The item is non-stock.Is this a setting issue?  Preference.  Billing Method?  We need to revise the invoice.Thank you. 

Does anyone know what is the difference between the  PMTran.Date and PMTran.TranDate? The PMTran.TranDate is not visible to user out of the box and is defaulted to the BusinessDate. User can enter and edit PMTran.Date though. So, the question is what the purpose of PMTran.TranDate is when it is not available to user?

We have been unable to submit an ROE file processed through Acumatica, because Service Canada is rejecting the file type.  The file has to be in BLK format.  We have tried numerous ways to get this to work, but it appears that Acumatica needs to automatically convert the XML file to BLK when it’s processed and saved to the computer.  (Our previous system Sage converted automatically.  The file was in BLK before saving to computer)  Seems like a programming issue in Acumatica, but so far, support has been unable to figure this out.   I’m wondering if anybody using Canadian Payroll has had to process a termination and use Acumatica’s ROE feature?   And if so, how has it worked for you?  Hope this all made sense.  I am not a system analyst and my terminology may be confusing.  lolThanks!

Hello. I’m trying to create a Generic Inquiry that pulls information from the PREmployeeAttribute screen which resides under Employee Payroll Settings > Tax Settings.I have the GI created and linked with the PREmployeeAttribute table but I’m not sure how to specify which ROW and COLUMN that GI pulls.For example - when I choose Object: PREmployeeAttribute > Data Field: value it will return the social security number. I’m guessing because that’s the first value on the table. But I want to add another column / row in the GI that pulls the ‘value’ from the Ethnicity row.

So I was calculating the % completion on a project in a generic inquiry by dividing the actual costs to date by the Revised estimated costs on a generic inquiry.  After some help from the community I was finally able to get the formula to not error out.  The ending calculation was not correct so I took out the division piece and had it show me just the top number and just the bottom number but those are not pulling correctly.  I used the same fields that are existing on other lines the generic inquiry. I’m usingPMBudget.Type= ‘E’ and the PMBudget.ActualAmount for the cost to date PMBudget.Type =’E’ and the PMBudget.RevisedAmount for the Revised Estimated costs. If I just pull those lines that already exist Actual Cost to date and Revised Budget amount and setup new lines copying the same formula.  I get different amounts.Here is the results the column and the test column next to it have the exact same formula I copied and pasted but they come out with different results?Original Cost to

I’m trying to get a contact email from a Sales Order to a email, however, this is bringing in the Contact ID and not the email. I’ve tried to get the email in the box, but only the ID is able to add an attribute. IS there a way to convert the ID into a Email.

Hi,We have an inherited client that is on 22.214 and needs to go to 24.210. I know there’s not a direct upgrade process and there will be a couple steps in between. I * think * the path is this: Current Version Build Update Intermediate Version Final Version 22.214.0019 22.223.0007 23.120.0004 24.210.0019  My questions are these:Do I create a sandbox for just the 24R2 version, or do we have to test in each? Does Acumatica process the upgrade sequentially in one evening, or will the client have to ‘live’ in each progressive version for a particular period of time?I haven’t processed an upgrade like this and want to be as efficient with the client as possible.Thanks!

I am trying to enter a formula into a generic inquiry that gives me a % of completion based on:cost to date/estimated budgeted costs * 100When I started I kept getting a div/0 error so I wanted to write the formula as follows  if the cost to date or the estimated budgeted cost was less than or equal to zero then column would return a value of 0 otherwise it would return the value of the calculation.  I am just learning the syntax of more complex if then statements. I have tried everything and moved from syntax errors to index out of bounds. Here is my formula that is now generating a invalid string constant error. =iif([PMBudget.Type] = ‘E’,iif(([PMBudget.CuryActualAmount]<=0) or ([PMBudget.Revisedamount]<=0) ,0,([PMBudget.CuryActualAmount]/[PMBudget.Revisedamount]),0)      It seems like it should be a fairly simple formula but it just not working.  I’m missing something.

A number of our clients are struggling with the new credit card processing workflow, where the pre-authorized amount is a cap for capturing.  Scenario: sales order is created with the amount of $100.  Credit card is pre-authorized for $100.  There is not integration with carriers through Acumatica OR (more often) it’s an LTL order, for which there is no integration in Acumatica.  So, the freight price cannot be estimated at the time of Sales Order.  Shipment is created and confirmed.  The freight price is received either from a 3rd party app or entered manually.  Invoice is created.  The invoice is now for $100 + $20 (shipping charge).  Since the card was pre-authorized for $100, the client cannot charge $120.  There are 2 options at this point: a) void pre-auth and create a new payment for $120; b) charge $100 and create another payment for $20.The issue with the first approach is that voiding does not remove holdback from an end customer account, and if they are short on money, the s

I’m encountering an issue with the Purchase Accrual Report in Acumatica. I have a Purchase Order (PO) with multiple Purchase Receipts (PR) and some returns against it. However, I noticed that:The returns are appearing in the accrual report. The purchase receipts (that were not yet billed or returned) are missing from the report.Has anyone experienced this issue before? Any insights on why the receipts are not showing and how to correct this?Appreciate any guidance!

Good morning, we receive the following error when entering a record for a vendor. The Vendor was recently created on on 1/17/2025. We were able to add a record on the 17 but then it didn’t let us add a second record. We were able to workaround this issues by changing the record date to 2015 and then once the record was accepted we changed the it back to 2014 date. Is there any settings that may be preventing us from entering Bills from 2024?     

where do I Turn legacy Exchange Online tokens on or off?

We created a customized data field in the AR - Invoice & Memo’s module.  The data field is at the top of the form, not within a tab.  The data field is to reflect the expected pay date of the AR Invoice.  Once, the AR invoice is released, we lose the ability to change the date.The due date field that is not customized, allows you to change it after you release the invoice.  What do we have to do to allow the customized Pay Date field to remain editable until the invoice is collected.

Hi Guys I'm looking for guidance on how to import Control Type Text Attributes into existing items in Acumatica. What steps or mappings are required to successfully import and associate Control Type Text Attributes with the items? Any advice or resources would be greatly appreciated!  When i Import by Import Scenario i get this message:Error: '...' Value of the 'TEXT' Attribute is not among it's possible valuessame Error goes for ID The Attribute ID and Text are also stored in the item classes that are assigned to the items. I can manually fill in the TEXT and ID, but I would prefer to import them
